I haven't written fanfiction in years but school spirits are making me want to write one where the ghosts are alive and the alive kids are the ghosts, so an reversed au!
Simon would the role of Maddie's place or something like that.
But like the others have different deaths and time periods when they die!
And I do want to add Simon x Xavier (as it is a savier fanfic)
yuri and Quinn are alive as well because I also want Charley x yuri and Rhonda x Quinn, and of course Wally x Maddie!
My idea is that it's the school spirits plot but my own creative with it and to have my favorite ships!
My questions for everyone is
One: what time period do you think Xavier, Nicole and Claire die in? what time would they fit into? I want them different like the original ghosts! (This one is done and figured out!)
Two: how do you want some of their relationships to grow?

School Spirits season 2 ships/Xavier rant
Why am I lowkey shipping Rhonda and Quinn now??? Like she made her smile one time and suddenly I'm sold.
I'm very happy for Charley and his new love interest! I think it will be a big part of his journey towards moving on because it will be the final push he needs to let go of Emilio. Plus, Yuri seems chill, if not a little sus though it seems like it's in more of a chaotic neutral type of way than a malicious way.
Xavier continues to annoy me. The scene where he blows off Claire after finding out Maddie may be alive pissed me off so badly. He clearly cared about Maddie more than Claire, so it just gives the impression that he was stringing her along for sex and never intended for anything serious between them. To add to that, they're now setting up this romance between him and Nicole, which just further adds to the player vibe I get from him. He's flirting anonymously with Nicole, while in a situationship with Claire, while still talking like he's not over Maddie, and I'm supposed to find him likable? I just don't understand the appeal. The guy looks like a greasy rat(I haven't forgotten about that scene with the cinderblock), and the eyes that everyone seems to like so much just creep me out honestly. He's got this stare that's a mix between a tweaker and a freaky ass bird.
My main man Wally continues to be the best! I'm very worried about him, though, because if things go the way I think and Maddie is put back into her body, it's going to break his heart, and I don't think I can handle that😭

-Maddie gets her body back but can still see all the ghosts and keeps contact with them.
-Maddie gets her body back, and because of their close connection, Wally comes back to life to?
-Simon dies and joins Maddie (I really hope it's not this one)
-Maddie comes back to life and all the ghosts crossover? Or become alive too?

Started ranting in my head about Grease rise of the pink ladies being cancelled and Rhonda wearing the pink jacket in that one flash back and thinking about how she and Quinn should date. I for some reason brought up yellowjackets and that led to thinking 'apparently they only way they let lesbians happen is if they eat each other and not in the good way'.
