I just want people to see this. That’s it.

A series of greyscale doodles involving Donnie and April from the cartoon "Rise of the teenage mutant ninja turtles". Donnie is normally a humanoid turtle, but in this image he's shown wearing a brooch that disguises him as a human. As a human, Donnie has darker toned skin, curly black hair bound into a loose ponytail underneath a bandana and besides his metallic vambrace and headset he's wearing a sleeveless, lighter colored hoodie, a large dark colored backpack as well as similarly colored fingerless gloves and elbow- and knee protectors over dark pants. April's skin is a similar shade of as Donnie's and she has dark curly hair bound up into puffy pigtails. She's wearing a pair of large cat-eye shaped glasses, a black choker and a loose, light colored jacket with elbow-length sleeves over a light colored dress with dark leggings. In the first drawing April has to lean up to kiss Donnie, who is a head taller than her. Next is a drawing where Donnie has April cornered with an arm leaned against the wall above her - he looks smug while she looks incredibly flustered. An arrow pointing down at the reverse situation shows that she takes revenge for this. Next is a drawing of Donnie showing zero interest in the popular pretty girl trying very hard to flirt with him. Donnie thinks "where's April?" while giving disinterested answers. The pretty girl thinks "He's not even looking at me?" with multiple question marks and in all caps. On the bottom left is a drawing of an insincerely somber looking Donnie resing his hand on one shoulder of April, who looks defeated. He tells her "I think we're gonna have to kill that girl, April." April responds with "Oh man." The next drawing shows Donnie leaning into April from behind, scraping one of his oversized canines against her neck, pretending to bite her. April looks as shocked as she looks flustered. The last drawing shows April sitting on Donnie's lap. Donnie looks confident and content, his hands are resting on her waist, while April looks unsure and flustered with an intense blush on her cheeks. End of description.

I'm so back in the flow for this au and I have the wonderful @hersheyotaku to thank for that, we've been snowballing so many fun ideas back and forth together in the last couple of days, it's been a blast!

Takeout and Reality TV Concept stemmed from the idea of April texting Draxum that her folks are out and she's ordering Chinese food and does he want any, which results in them eating takeout together while watching bad reality TV. What better way to surrogate father/daughter bond?
