SU Birthstone Series: Rose Quartz (January???)
So uh, I was very busy this weekend so i couldn't post this sooner here and in the rest of my social media, sorry.
So uhhh, when i was researching the stones for each month, there was this article saying that the rose quartz was also a january stone like garnet and i was like "ooohhh come oooonnn, I missed it" but then I remembered the very convenient situation between Pink and Rose and have it as an extra drawing for the diamond month, so here we are!

Self-love jar spell!
I made a self-love jar spell design! It has a rose quartz, rose petals, cinnamon, lavender and rosemary in it! Sealed with pink wax and full of good intent. You can buy stickers and more of that design on my Redbubble!

Just realized that even Eyeball predicted that Rose was Pink Diamond. In bubbled when she and Steven were in space and Steven showed her his gem, she even said “that’s more of a pinkish-red than the rose quartz reddish-pink.” She knew
So if Rose was actually Pink Diamond does that mean the other diamonds are Steven’s grandparents?

2 year anniversary gift for my partner!!!!
We’re celebrating our anniversary today (a week and a half late) because my summer camp job kept getting in the way and I get to give this to them tonight!!! They don’t have tumblr so I know they won’t see this before I give it to them! Some of these drawings are definitely worse than others…(*cough*Garfield*cough*)

- grieving a loved one that was the figurehead for a revolution of sorts
- one knew figurehead since their early days and one has known them in their new “era” — this cause the pair to bicker since they each know the figurehead in their own ways and their grief creates a divide between the two
- figurehead has a supernaturally long lifespan
- figurehead dies in what either of them may interpret as in a selfish way
- figurehead is replaced by someone new, the pair struggle to create a relationship with this person since this person’s entire existence reminds the pair of the person who has passed on
- in the pair’s journey they discover the figurehead’s flaws
- pair are shipped together a lot
- figurehead uses a shield

From the episode "The Return" Jasper: That shield, that symbol. You have the power of Rose Quartz! So, Pink Diamond really changed everything. I don't know if she's supposed to have a shield as a weapon, but it looks like she also changed the shield's symbol to the crystal gem symbol. I wonder what her original shield would look like... Also that shield looks like the one Rose used to protect Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl from corruption. Possibly Pink Diamond Size.

Navel Gems are Psychopaths
Well, except maybe for Steven since he's born half human and lived like a normal human being would.
I rewatched some clips to recall Ruby(Navy) and RoseQ/PinkD's lines.
Here are some of Navy Ruby's lines:

"Oh please, Oh please don't make me go back to Homeworld, I just wan'na stay here with you!"
"I just wan'na be somewhere where I can be myself"

"I love it, it's so sunny"

As for Rose Quartz, we know she had tons of good, inspiring lines that she used to inspire Pearl, Garnet, Amethyst, Bismuth, other crystal gems and possibly other humans like Greg. But in her personality as Pink Diamond, she was shown as cheerful and childish to Yellow Diamond, but when she didn't get what she want, she got really furious.
Both Rose Quartz and Navy Ruby would do "anything" to get what they want. They would even lie and pretend to be good to persuade others easily.
And in the end they would just leave those problems behind because they don't care about the people who love them and just leave them mad or crying in the end, like a psychopath would...
But that's just a theory based on what we currently know about the show! So please don't take this seriously and I hope you understand my point.

💎 I just felt like making a 3D GIF of Pink Diamond/Rose Quartz’s Gem. Made using SketchUp. 💎
Yoooww… Remember when Rebecca posted this pic of Aivi & Surasshu a long time ago? When you look closely at the pic of Surasshu’s shirt, you’ll see that Amethyst, Ruby, and Sapphire’s gem are all equal on both sides, while Rose’s Gemstone (unlike the bubbled ones on the Human Zoo which are also equal on both sides) is pointed on the other side.
I was planning on making a drawing on how Pink and Rose’s gem could’ve been the same if rotated, but it seems impossible and… meh I was too lazy at that time. But now since I’ve seen the new episodes, I’ve tried figuring it out in 3D and it all makes sense now!!!
I knew it was PD’s gem but I was just too dumb to figure it out in the first place. The shape, patterns, and everything was so confusing, it just doesn’t make sense and match. But if you make a few alterations on the facet surface without changing its true 3D shape, then it just might work! 😅
So anyway, here’s a drawing I made showing you how it could be done in 3D.

I have been forgetting to upload this but here it is finally. This took a few months but it is complete c: Creating a lot of bubbled gems is physically painful and mentally exhausting I found out. I added some close ups as well. I needed to draw her, and my first time drawing Blue Pearl as well. (I love blue/pink/purple color schemes so much.)
