Mermay piece two featuring the great mermaid himself Legend! Inspired by the story Mermaid’s Cenote by Salt00.
My first mermay piece inspired by the Vocaloid song Deep Sea girl. I am excited to do mermay, but there is no such thing as a schedule in my life right now, so I’m just gonna spend the month drawing mermaids. Feel free to drop in my inbox with suggestions.

So I was watching some videos about breath of the wild mods, and there is a mod that lets you play as Linkle, or as Zelda. I really didn’t like their designs for most of the armor sets, but I would be a hypocrite if I criticized their design without trying to make my own. 9 hours of doodles and art later here is my interpretation of a female snowquill set. I styled it to fit Zelda, but the design is based off the female Rito outfit.

Sketching out ideas for a new RWBY OC. I think I have most of his details down by now, but I have no idea what to name him.
I wanted a new icon, also I've been playing a lot of Pokemon Sword recently and have decided that I love my little rabbit son.
Midterms are killing me and I’ve fallen in love with triforce heroes. Heres my interpretation of the heroes from that game: Emerald, Saphire, and Garnet. I have lots of headcanons for these boys. I will type them up a day I don’t have homework.
I normally don’t post wips, but I am really excited about this idea. The drawing won't be finished for a while, because I am an idiot who decided to try for some interesting lighting and effects. Basically, this drawing started as a doodle of what the spirit of the Four Sword might look like, and then evolved into what if four became the spirit of the Four Sword.
I really liked the fairy!Hyrule that I doodled, so I colored it, then I got a bit distracted with the lighting.

I got a bit distracted the other day and designed a Link. I don’t remember what inspired me to do this, but I had fun nonetheless. In the process of designing her look I also came up with a bunch of little ideas about her.
I would place her story somewhere between Spirit Tracks and Breath of the Wild. Although, I headcanon Hyrule Warriors as being at the point when the three timelines merge, so it would be before that. Before she became the hero she worked as either a blacksmith, an engineer or maybe both. She wears pegasus boots and prefers the sword over a bow.
She is deaf, and because of this doesn't talk. Near the start of her quest, she meets the fairy Emcee who helps her navigate and talk to people. A while later she receives a Great Fairy’s Earing as a gift. The earing has been enchanted to work as a hearing aid for her. She loves using it to hear Emcee and the sounds of the forest but doesn't like to use it in towns because she finds all of the noise overwhelming. She communicates mostly through sign language, or by having Emcee speak for her. After getting the Great Fairy’s Earing she chooses not to learn to speak because she sees no need when she can communicate just fine with sign in most circumstances. Except for that jerk in Castle Town.
Emcee and Link can communicate through a kind of magical telepathy, which is mostly used in combat situations. Outside of combat Link uses sign, and Emcee uses a form of morse code with her glow. Emcee insists that she is skilled in speaking sign language, but no one can see her hands so the point is mute.
I’m just gonna state that I am not deaf, nor do I personally know anyone who is, so if I’ve done something wrong, or been offensive in any way, please let me know so I can change. I started playing with the idea of making her deaf because I was thinking about the fact that many canon links have varying degrees of mutism for various reasons, and I began brainstorming a list of reasons why someone might be mute. I started leaning toward deafness when I was watching a youtube video and a deaf man was explaining why he chooses not to speak even though he did learn when he was younger. the way he described it like learning a new language, and how it is a skill that if you don't use you will lose it, made me see it in a new light. In the end, I choose to make her deaf because I’m studying game design and the idea of making a game with a deaf protagonist seemed really interesting to me. I think it would be a cool way to make people think about what it is like to live a different life. It would also make an interesting challenge to make a game that has no sound-based puzzles in it. I think the world could use more heroes who aren't “normal”, kids need to see that anyone can be a hero regardless of what they were born with or without.
INKTOBER IS DONE!!!! I dont care that its nearly Christmas, I set a goal to finish and I did!
Doodled two of my rwby ocs this week.
So Instagram is stupid and its cross posting feature apparently only works with a single image. Well heres the rest that was supposed to be there.

So I got inspired by @aufi-creative-mind‘s Kintsugi Fi and got the idea to draw what Fi might look like for Linked Universe, well I suppose it could just be for BOTW. I really had fun playing with the idea that she was shattered when the timeline split, and decided to keep a part of each of those appearances so that she could keep the ties to each of her boys. I also really love and got inspired by @nobodytheelf‘s long haired BOTW Fi.
So I started this drawing like four years ago with the character on the left. Over the past few years I have lost, found, and lost this drawing over and over again. So I figured I might as well finish it. My best friends from elementary school and I made up these characters when we were like 8 and I still love drawing them, so you can expect lots of doodles of them in the future. Each character has an element that they are linked to, probably not hard to guess who is who, and for this particular set of drawings I started with the idea of drawing them as dragon riders, and then I ended up very far from there, but I’m extremely happy with the result.

I’ve been playing minish cap, and watched a play through of four swords recently, and oh my gosh this boy finds so many things underground!! So of course I had to draw the little gremiln in a hole in the ground.
I found the time to color this. I am so stinking proud of the colors.
I tried to sketch twilight from memory, and then colored him with whatever pens I had on hand.
Got inspired by the gerudo from breath of the wild, and decided to try a armored vai look for my rwby oc midnight. I’ll probably color this later.

Recently I had the opportunity to participate in an amazing collab with some other awesome artists for Magical Mirai 2019. Here is my piece of Megurine Luka. This was lots of fun, I can’t wait to see how the full thing will turn out, and I will be sure to post that as well.
I was feeling in a sci-fi mood, so I started doodling a android fighter, but I couldn't decide if they would be male or female, so I drew both. Played around with different shading styles.
A commission piece for my friend Ru Coal from the RWBY OC amino community of their OC Amber Heath, and some sketches of her weapon. They were really awesome to work with, and for one of my first commissions, they were really patient with me not having any clue what I was doing.
Found another old art. This one is not as old as the other it was the first time I tried colored line art though. I drew this in a few hours for a scholarship entry. May have used a pose reference, but if I did, then I’ve lost it.
