He's a human + cat + slug chimera.
Don't expect a critter to listen to you.
Been playing a lot of Rain World. Here’s the slugcat - a nible survivor in an unforgiving ecosystem. I loved the game and it’s immersive storytelling, highly recomend it! More rain world animations to come
Heyo! Happy valentines day! I found the scug shipuary challenge, so I'll be starting late. I worked really hard on this one, and I'm planning to do one a day.
Au notes: Gorm and hunter met when hunter was in a really bad place mentally. Gorm helped them out of it and encouraged them to seek treatment for their cancer.
Gorm: Demiboy, he/they/it, MLM
Hunter: Nonbinary, Any Pronouns, Demiromantic/Asexual

Hunter used to be a trans man, but realized it was nonbinary and now has to correct people who correct others about it's pronouns.

Gorm: So I was with Hunter the other day and she-
Random: Actually, he goes by he/him
Hunter: Oh no I don't mind, I use any pronouns now. *internal screaming*
Gorm is very protective of Hunter. Hunter does not need to be protected, but finds it cute.
Hunter tried to help gourmand cook. He's not very good at it, but he needs to feel useful, even when he was recovering from surgery.
Hunter goes out and hunts for her and gourmand, and gourmand makes them food.
Gourmand wants kids but they know hunter doesn't like children so doesn't push it, instead caring for their nieces/nephews

I made hunter colorpoint because NSH specifically asked me to (I just felt like it)

Yes, gourmand is wearing a "apron text" apron because I didn't know what else would make it clear it was an apron with hunter covering half of it

Edit: originally I was trying to draw smt with a slugcat but I liked the sketch to much to finish the drawing lol
Little story time first:
So in school. It was PE class but the roof of the school gym was broken so we couldn't do PE so instead the teacher took us to some kind of room next to the gym and gave us 2 basketballs and let us do whatever we want. So I simply sat down on one of the chairs and grabbed a paper and drew some things
First page:
A couple of dragons, slugcats, an oc and deltarune characters.
Then on the next page I drew this dragon base. I think it's pretty nice.
And then, on another page, I practiced drawing cats and dogs. Also drew a couple of dragons, my oc that is a cat. And then a couple of my classmates walked up to me and asked to draw something too. The weird looking dino creature in the middle and slightly down was drawn by one of my classmates. Another classmate drew something up and slightly to the left, it's upside down so you can't really tell what it is.

Yeah I just wanted to draw them both. (Also bcuz I wanted to draw smt so I just looked to my right (the place where I keep my gourmand plushie and hunter plushie) and just went 'sure why not' and drew them)

to all the alterhumans seeing this, i'd definitely recommend playing rain world. it's a survival platformer where you play as a little creature called a slugcat near the bottom of the food chain. it's a hard game, but it's got some very fascinating lore! the creature designs are also cool af 10/10 game i am very normal about it

I was thinking of a rain world OC in the spirit of the Downpour campagins with set plot and goals.
I first wanted to call this dude "The Craftsman/The Wright" but I think their iterator may or may not get a bit more attached to his repairman scug so they get a proper name.
The lore and the message I have in my head is still very fluid, but I wanted to think of something from a perspective of an iterator cut-off from communication that missed every transmission about tragedies all around and one of many slugcats made just to repair said communication devices. Scug existencial crisis ensues
