Annular or the Ring Of Fire solar eclipse is tomorrow
The time of maximum eclipse, when that "ring of fire" event happens, will be at 2:40 a.m. EDT (0640 GMT) Sunday, June 21, when the moon crosses into the center of the sphere of the sun, from Earth's perspective. The eclipse starts at 11:45 p.m. EDT Saturday, June 20 (0345 GMT Sunday) and ends at 5:34 a.m. EDT (1034 GMT) June 20, according to NASA.
Regions in the path of visibility include the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Central African Republic, South Sudan, Sudan, Ethiopia, the Red Sea, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Oman, the Gulf of Oman, Pakistan, India, China, Taiwan, the Philippine Sea (south of Guam), northern Australia and the north Pacific Ocean.

Obviously I think solar eclipses are extremely cool like any rational person does but there’s just something kind of unsettling about it too? Like everyone just standing outside, all staring at the sun and awaiting for darkness.

i wrote this one on a trip to see the solar eclipse this year. we were driving down the highway to get to the spot we had traveled so far to arrive at. to experience a miraculous three minutes and thirty-eight seconds. i felt like i could feel the anticipation in everything, even the other cars around us.

Anyways I was nervous as hell while working on this because oh my god physical affection embarrassing, but I am so proud of myself for finishing it. This is a big landmark for me, both in terms of technique and being comfortable with drawing what makes me happy.
