Howdy there y'all. It's me, Stairs back at it again with some tasty art

This post is dedicated to my first two sonic OCs: Cosmos and Marigold.

Cosmos is a robot/synthetic hedgehog hybrid created primarily to protect a leading scientists daughter, Samantha Bright, but after an incident in Dr. Bright's laboratory, Cosmos was to be shut down and stripped for parts before he escaped with Samantha. Samantha is currently guarded by S.W.A.P (Secure Wayward Activation Point) who wish to use her to bait Cosmos into coming for her to end him.

Marigold was Dr. Bright's lab assistant, working along side him during the creation of Cosmos. Marigold however has different ideas when it comes to Cosmos, wanting to keep the project to himself to test chaos energy on. He is currently working along side S.W.A.P to bring Cosmos in, but wishes to experiment on Cosmos instead of ending him.

I’m really liking them, name-wise I’m thinking something Plant based, or maybe Artifact? Remnant? Might be too close to Relic the Pika in that case. Manzanita is a favorite, and they have pale leaves and blossoms, which match Her color-scheme.

Reworking an old Jackal Sonic fan character from before there were any official Sonic Jackals and I just mixed Tikal, Gold the Tenrec, and the Sandopolis Zone ghosts together.

I also need a new name, because calling a Sonic Character Memphis won’t cut it post real time fan dubs ‘06

SO NORMAL RIGHT NOW was looking through old notebooks and found the sonic OC fancomic I made thag may or not be a 20+ page comic that i made in under a week BUT I WANTED GO DOODLE THEM AGAIN CAUSE ITS BEEN A COUOLE YEARS (literally 2 years) SO YAY !!!!! I also hate drawing sonic style eyes so I TRIED I PROMISE !!!!!!

HERES PART OF THE FIRST PAGE it's literally three in the morning so I'm not gonna finish it BUT YIPPPEEE !!!! ⤵️

The story is fairly simple , the other character than Knuckles (named Jiff the Tasmanian Devil) was tasked by Eggman (who he works for, but doesn't like at all) to "steal" the master emerald with a device that basically would shrink it down to a small size so he ciuld easily bring it back to Egghead AND SO knuckles catches him and beats hik up ILL POST MORE PAGES AS I COUNTINUE WITH THE REMAKE

sonic OCs apart of their own "little" au.

notes:

-when I wrote that the main cast isn't in they're universe I meant they just didn't like fulfill their roles in the og. they're just like some rambunctious teens that don't have a lot of affiliation with each other. If you are curious about them(sonic, amy, knuckles, shadow, etc.) I can give a run-down

~Sonic, Amy, and Knuckles are a trio of teens that run around causing unintentional chaos, driving the mayor (Mix) mad, although they are well acquainted with Ella, the head of military and (cuz there's free time) law enforcement. (Ella is kinda like a knuckles role as I didn't put that down)

~Tails is a high preforming student at the school here, and because of how young he is, has grasped the attention of the mayor, Mix having high hopes for the kid. Tails is bullied in the AU, but gets some reinforcement from the mayor spending time with the young fox.

~Well, the problem with Shadow in this AU is that Dr. Eggman isn't the main antagonist, Marina is. And instead of her dying, a "new" older sibling(hermano o hermana)dies and she goes under the wing of Prof. Eggman, her cousin (Dr. Eggman in the og series whom now has a PHD and works in a collage). Which means "Shadow' is a timeline that went a tad differently, especially since Sonic isn't any type of hero here. So I'll basically say that he just doesn't exist for the most part in this reality.

~Rouge... is, while older (like a senior in high school) than the rest of the og cast, a teenager. She's basically like one of those kids that steal and vape in bathroom, ending up in the bathrooms to be closed so you can't go to the bathroom even if you're going to cry or to use it like a normal person... Basically just some kid you'd hope gets out of those habits but you know won't. There's drama, and crime, all around her, but who knows, maybe she enjoys it?

-This AU's a little bit more mature, as the characters are older, and, you know, have responsibilities, even if the settings (green hill) is the same. I also added another factor, everyone, as long as they work at it, can be as fast as some iterations of Sonic(Defiantly not argy sonic shish) this is just cuz in some iterations, Sonic is a teen, but I wanted a good reason why he doesn't get to be a hero in this AU. This also makes it where the military and law enforcement are really fast and strong, as Ella is.

-These three became so important because, in this AU, they founded the town/city everyone lives in (there's a countryside, and all the twists and turns of Green Hills' tracks don't worry), Green Hill City or Green Town(i know its basic but its realistic lol).

-The Chaos Emeralds are a legend, lacking proof.

-People don't really use automobiles if they're able bodied.

(these first drafts above were pretty much traced from the official Sonic Adventure art by Yuji Uekawa. This was to practice the Sonic artstyle) Holly (red deer character) and Majesty (purple dragon) are an odd couple, consisting of a jovial shapeshifter and a greedy dragon who breathes noxious gas. The two combine their skills to raid villages and towns, adding to Majesty's ever-growing pile of gold. When Majesty hears of the elusive 'Chaos Emeralds', the wealth-hungry dragon stops at nothing to add the precious jewels to his dragon hoard. [More information about each character under the cut]:

Holly is an unknown creature often resembling a deer, but can shapeshift into any species she likes. She can even mimic their abilities, but only physical traits; she cannot copy others' supernatural abilities. (i.e. she can copy Sonic's quills as a defense mechanism, but cannot mimic his speed). She was outcasted numerous times in the past, as she tried to mimic other species in order to fit in. They all disowned her after discovering her true nature as a shapeshifter. When she met Majesty, the only person who did not outright reject her, she immediately became attached. Now she works as his loyal minion, but really, she's the one who does all the hard work.

Majesty is a dragon, a rare species able to breathe toxic gas. One whiff could prove lethal, while his venomous saliva is potent enough to burn through metal. Abandoned as a hatchling, Majesty made his name as a ferocious dragon not to be messed with. He terrorizes any village he finds, raiding their wealth and food to take back to his cave, accumulating his 'dragon hoard'. His goal is to prove himself as the most powerful being on Mobius. When he learns of precious jewels able to grant one infinite power, why, what kind of dragon would he be if he didn't pilfer them for himself?
