☔ Green dewy grass and air getting cold horaaay but man June passed so quickly. Oh and I finally got a new journal last month after two years.
I know its like the first of July but I’m in the middle of all reality and stress with a pile of schoolwork to do huhu but I know all will be well. Keep reminding myself about the small things I see in town like the weird pink tricycle whose horn sounds like a rooster, a dog that looks like a hairless pig, the different kinds of birds living in the backyard, the homeless woman cooking breakfast early in the morning, the electric post that still grows branches and leaves on top of itself, or the cool skater dude with locks that passes by at school.

Interestingly, the others at different place were actually MINI.
I wish I had a much bigger Lab where we can quickly compare their gene expression patterns.
A student says “It would be fun if we could do the experiment as a summer research project”, which encourages me a lot.

一体どうなってるの？
地球温暖化？
コロナ？
オリンピック？
不思議なことに別の場所に植えたものは、確かに「ミニひまわり」でした。
気軽に遺伝子パターンを比較てきるくらいのラボにしたいものです。
「それが夏休みの自由研究だったら楽しい！」と言ってくれる子がいるのは、励みになります。

Curiosamente, los otros en diferentes lugares eran en realidad MINI.
Ojalá pudiera tener un laboratorio mucho más grande donde podamos comparar sus patrones de expresión genética.
Un alumno dice "Sería divertido si pudiéramos hacer el experimento como un proyecto de investigación de verano", lo que me anima mucho.

I stopped to look over the elderly sunflower field. They should be getting ready to go to seed so the next generation could defend the kingdom. But that also means that I have to work in some black gold deep into the soil for them.
