Gender Representation in Media & Occupational Pursuit

Thank you for your interest in taking this survey. This questionnaire is being used for the Sociology Research Methods course offered to undergraduate students at UMBC (SOCY 300). It should take approximately 5-10 minutes. It investigates the effect of gender representation in media on occupational pursuit. Participation in this study is completely voluntary and you may choose to discontinue your participation at any time. Your identity will remain anonymous, as emails will not be collected. Confidentiality will also be ensured through the use of this data for classroom purposes only. If at any point you feel discomfort as a result of this study, please stop responding. Hotwife/Cuckold Question:

How many of you got into your present relationship knowing you were a stag/vixen, hotwife, or cuckold couple? How many got into the lifestyle later on after being a “vanilla” couple for some time? Was it because one of you cheated and it turned the other on, or were you living out a fantasy? Who brought up the idea first? Whose decision was it to act on your fantasies? Curious how many people had the same experience we did.

We were married over 10 years, and had been faithful to each other. I cheated and he caught me, and after a brief period of anger and resentment, we found that talking about the affair turned him on...thinking about me with another guy made him hard as a rock and fueled some really great sex. He couldn’t stop thinking about it. We watched a lot of hotwife/cuckold porn, and one night after a family wedding he told me he wanted to watch me do it, so we went to a “bookstore” and he watched me have sex with several other men. It’s been a wild ride in the 10 years or so since then, and we’ve both loved living the lifestyle and the enjoying its benefits. What about you?
