But then you get to actually meet the "most lethal, obedient tool of the Empire" in person and realise that this man can kill you, your family and your closest allies, make it seem like suicide/tragic incident/enemy sabotage with no one noticing anything amiss, AND he only respects one person, and you just boasted about how the former Minister is all but dead.
At this point the Old Republic era is made of headcannons, as it should be 😌
