Damn republic of heroes little holocron blurbs of character be wild and interesting.
So like I’ve been thinking bout Fox a lot lately. And honestly, he’s a very hard character to like or dislike. Because his moral views and story telling are slightly flawed by the actual storyline that has been preset.
Realistically, we all knew that the Jedi never really found out about the chips before the order (this is canon verse idk if legends has something where they do). So knowing that, Fives was most likely going to die because he knew about the chips. So thus putting Fox in a position where he HAS to kill Fives. And it ain’t just a character choice, it’s a storyline choice.
So really it’s hard to judge his character since one of his major choices is preset. Of course this would apply for any character if they were in Fox’s position, but we as viewers don’t know if Fox was chosen for a specific reason or not.
Anyways I just wanted to share some brain ideas of mine. Personally I like Fox as a character. He sticks to his morals and everything as we have slightly seen from before.
Haha I am totally not matching the Montgomery Ricky with Clone Wars related stuff. Pftttt- what I totally am not.
So uh like idk if this has been said or not before but quick take. Some of the og colored armor was red right? Well what if it was chosen to show bleeding/blood. Especially since it was a more darker red and not a light one. Like “hey we’re human too and we also bleed!” That they’re not just clones but also people and so when most groups changed colors, that’s why the Coruscant Guard stays red. But slowly that red changes from showing their human to the color of dying brothers. That they die for these people and they metaphorically paint the dead brothers blood on their armor. And so imagine how much worse it feels during Fives death. Anyways red am I right aha- (gets shot)

Been reading republic commando and I’m so attached to all the characters I’m afraid of what is to come. I’m only one book away from order 66 now :0. Also every time I see like a mention of Kenobi, Gree doing stuff in there, etc of characters from clone wars I just 👀👀
FUN FACT TIME:
The ending of Clone Wars and Ahsoka novel are basically the same (there are slight changes tho) so let’s keep that in mind with what I’m about to say.
Going off the novel, after the burriel of the clones, Ahsoka and Rex would part ways. That’s right you heard it here. Ahsoka and Rex go in different directions after the crash. :)
A thing that I think about in the clone wars fandom:
- Helix is not an actual character to appear I believe. But it has been headcanoned so much that he is the 212th medic, that it might as well be canon.
Sometimes I hate Star Wars tiktok cause I’ll be scrolling and boom Star Wars tik tok and I’m like pog and then it’s a fucking post/during order 66 tik tok that makes me cry

Just told a friend that I’m showing clone wars to that they can’t get attached to like any character. Like any character. None of them are safe.
Never caught it but in Clone Cadets, Hevy goes “we’re nothing but the Bad batch, the failures.” Probably doesn’t mean anything back then but just thought to point it out.

Wtf is a sun bonnet. The reason why Echo, Fives and Hevy all made a confused sir noise was because they didn’t understand what a sun bonnet was.

*Lets Not Delay* is probably the most iconic clone wars amv maker to me. I mean they made the Fireflies amv, the Noots amv and one of the tenth man down amvs. And the Real World amv, Time of Dying amv, We Are amv, The Will Not Die amv. They just made a lot of iconic ones man.
I’m going down the Clone Wars amv rabbit hole please send help. Literally just clicked on a video that showed Commander Thorn in the thumbnail and we all know which scene it is :)
Watching the old Clone Wars AMVs are so nastoligic. Like I remember when they first came out. Anyways speaking of them, does anyone remember this Echo AMV with the song Right Here Waiting For You by Richard Marx? I can’t find it and it’s bothering me.
Ngl I really want to go to Disney to go to Galaxy Edge. For the lightsabers and everything, overall just a huge Star Wars nerd aha. But the real reason I want to go, Hondo Ohnaka. I mean they’re pirates, they don’t even know what that means.
I don’t regret adding Burying the Dead to my playlist but man does it play at the right times. In a car ride it played and while I’m hiking it played.
I went to a Star Wars shop and I don’t know what to tell you but yes I bought the Commander Fox action figure and the Black Squadron comic.
