I ADORED Something of an Apology by @billiuspendragon, especially this scene, so I decided to draw it out! Its not a very long fic, but Kusuke and Kusuo are characterised so well, I honestly think everyone in the fandom should read it.

Saiki and Kuboyasu, unorganized thought

I think saiki and aren should've interacted:/ I could write an essay on them despite the fact they've never interacted ONE ON ONE I think that they would be really good and in fact I acc don't know how people don't ship them I kind of really liked them together. I think saiki is just great w everyone but aren is so peak of a character I cannot believe they weren't closer 💔
ts pmo because saiki wants to be normal and average and aren is literally that, but saikis perspective on normal is so different from kuboyasus.
they both have kept secrets about who they truly are (seen, kaidou finding out about kuboyasus secret), both want to be normal and average, both are observant too!
I might be reaching but I feel that one entire episode/chapters was kind of parallels within kuboyasu and saiki and I think made saiki trust kaidou more, despite the fact he said he would want to end "the fake friendship" it seemed he only said that because kaidou doesn't know who saiki really is,
friendships built off lies and secrets never end well.
(Kaidous thoughts to which Saiki has a gut reaction to)
That conversation with kuboyasu saiki saw helped him feel relief, for kuboyasu.. and maybe himself?

I feel there is more I could say about this, kuboyasu and saiki, and kaidou and saikis relationship but I'm never able to speak out the words in my head.
Also, their friendship just seems hilarious as hell to me, Kuboyasu can be a normal guy to Saiki's standards and then a complete idiot to the next, which Saiki just goes like 🤨, 'I would've expected you to be more reasonable' type of face.
Like that dynamic sounds hilarious, come on, guys. 😭😭

Saiki was going to reveal his secret to Kaidou at this point -
Before Kuboyasu showed up! Where he instead reveals his secret to Kaidou and Saiki about being a delinquent.
Just wanted to mention that scene:) because people act as if Saiki was gonna reveal his secret because his plan failed but when he heard Kaidou's thoughts, you can see a shine in his eyes (which always happens when he has a sweet feeling about something), trusting Kaidou and wanting him to know the truth.
Again, unorganized thoughts, I just think that Kuboyasu and Saiki sound really interesting and Kaidou is important to both of them:)
Chiyo will always be Kokomi's first and best friend, I love them.
soooooo normal about the fact that kokomi acts in a way that is not exactly perfect pretty girl-like, that she is interested in making friends with other girls at chiyo's influence - that she resembles chiyo in ways that are so obvious that they deserve a place in the narrative
I absolutely love her
I feel that she would be in Mob Psycho. She would fit well there actually... so it really has me curious to try and write her in there for fun when I have time!
I wonder if anyone else remembers her? do you guys have headcannons on her?
I think it's really interesting how people try to say that Saiura is a much better ship than Saiteru...because their only reasoning is that "they're soulmates" yet we never got a full elaboration on what soulmates could define for Aiura.
And even then, Saiki and Aiura are not close, even aiura herself doesn't consider to be friends with Saiki and claims that "we end up being more like strangers" when talking about her and Saiki. They never talk, and all Aiura does is try to corner him every time, to which Saiki is uncomfortable with and annoyed by reasonably too.
Aiura has a very wrong and flawed perspective on who Saiki really is. She literally assumes he's some sadistic guy playing hard to get.. or whatever her words were, she thinks that he would enjoy sexual things (he would not 😭) because all she's doing is that she's projecting on to him. Lied about her and Saiki dating and doing..... things to which made Saiki uncomfortable and awkward visibly. Idek what to call this.
Did not want mention this either but in the manga, she tried to SA saiki, with some so called "lucky feel moment" (when two people get into a inherently sexual situation, one knowing and one not knowing of this.) That's literally weird AF.
Anyways....
She has no idea or concept on who Saiki is. It's so far off from him that it's an entirely new person. Not to mention, she does not like Saiki at all romantically, though. The only thing that has her invested with him is that he might be "Sadistic", oh Aiura... 😭...
It proves further on that she has never had feelings romantically at all and still does not, she is only "fascinated " with this idea of Saiki.
We also need to talk about how uncomfortable saiki is from aiura by a lot. She doesn't respect his boundaries at all, thinks knowing his secret is something she owns
(I'm pretty sure her and Toritsuka also thought this, which is odd because what?)
and tries to use to her advantage, tried to make saiki do some weird favor (obviously inappropriate implications to which Saiki said no to immediately before she could add anything).
Yikes..
and is very selfish and pushy about saiki 😭 yet she calls saiki selfish?
this is what I'm talking about. She still doesn't understand saiki and still has a five hundred million perspective on who saiki is. That shouldn't be good in a relationship.
Ship them all you want, but the chemistry is absolutely nowhere
Although yes, they have some good moments, I can not see this going further romantically. Friendship, yes, anything else, NO!
Underrated opinion, but Saiki x Mera is better than this ship. I'm just saying.... I think Mera and Saiki are very cute and wished for more interactions with them. Obviously, Saiteru is much better than this as well from Teruhashi's side.

This isn't supposed to be hate, this is just what I gathered from one of the bad aspects of their relationship. I wish they were much closer and that Aiura didn't do.. that 😭
SPRING BREAK STARTS TODAY!!! It's only about a week this year, which sucks, but still!! A whole entire week of no school!! Is it too early in the year to go to the beach and sunbathe? Hm, probably. But it's probably not too early to go and get fancy cones of ice cream from the fancy sweets place that opened last week!
And if we tell Saiki about that new sweets place then he'll definitely want to hang out with us! Maybe we could convince him to walk around a nearby mall while we eat our ice cream, and then we could extend the amount of time we spend with him by shopping with him. Maybe he won't notice if we do it discreetly enough.
His clothes are normally pretty boring, but I've seen him wear some funky stuff now and then. Between that and his hairclips and green glasses, I think he's got a fun sense of fashion, even if it isn't the coolest. Maybe he doesn't show it much because he's afraid of getting dress-coded.
But then again, he's seen me get away with stuff like an eye patch and my bandages, so it's not like he doesn't have proof that he can get away with stuff. Maybe he's just low-key when it comes to expressing himself in general.
I can help with that, at least! I'll take him to Hot Topic and see what he picks, and then I'll buy it for him! He doesn't have to worry about the cost at all. He'd like that, right? And maybe I could buy a pair of whatever he chooses, so we could match! That'd be cool! We'd look like a boy band or a vigilante duo or something!
Nendou would have to shop elsewhere for clothes, though. If he put on a pair of skinny jeans he would rip them instantly, and not in a cool way. The guy's giant. I wouldn't want to accidentally flash my fellow beings of the night and Saiki with our gorilla friend's ass in the middle of Hot Topic.
Maybe we could get him a necklace or something and he'd be happy with that. He doesn't seem like the kind of guy to care about fashion that much.

kuboyasu and saiko childhood au (?)
I was thinking, what if they accidentally meet when saiko and his father visit kuboyasus hometown for business inquiries for 3 weeks. saiko sneaks out and gets lost, stumbling upon the peasant area, and finds kuboyasu. they eventually started to meet up nearly every day and bond. (with saiko still being as stubborn as ever, of course) but one of his servants/maids found out and stopped him from going out to see a peasant. but that didn't stop him, though. when he did try to go see kuboyasu, he wasn't anywhere to be seen. it's been a few days, and saiko was going to give up until he found kuboyasu laying all bloody and bruised up -- fluff and angsttt??!
