Two weeks ago I was at a small festival. I was in Spy cosplay. I think it looks like crap, but people at the festival said it turned out well, and a few people even wanted to take pictures with me.
I went there alone, but still had a good time.
Thanks to this post for instructions on how to make a mask. Without this I would have made things even worse.
