Can I say XIX-XX century lesbian art is definitely togachako?
none of the art is mine, all is found on Pinterest, credits in the Alt attribute
You won't believe but Jennifer's body and Hannibal are the two pieces of media that give me the perfect badass tgck vibes
Have a nice day 🫀
Togachako fantasy au, vampire!himiko witch!ochako enemies to lovers please (also I'm kinda obsessed with your art 🫶🫶)
Thanks for your suggestion!!! (and for the patient waiting hehe) I'm sooo glad you liked my art this much, kinda makes marama shy...🥺🥺🥺
I'm more of a werewolf!ocha x vampire!himi fan, but ochako's official witch design....
Here's what I came up with:
First they're like this
And then like this
A snippy bit of a random dialogue:
– Whatcha doin', my floaty witch? – Himiko peeks into the boiling pot over her human's shoulder, sniffing curiously. The liquid there glows a pleasant pink.
– Love potion! – Ochako replies cheerfully as she stirs, a pleased smile on her lips at the thought of the pretty shiny coins she's going to get from selling this.
– Stupid, – Himiko pouts disdainfully, draping herself all over the young woman from behind. – Where's the fun of that? Just my luck I have my love potion right here~
She doesn't even ask before sinking her teeth into the soft flesh before her to prove just that.
Good morning tgck nation
Vampire Himiko Toga didn't know her cozy bed coffin will be a bit too small for two
So her human girlfriend keeps floating away...
@lily-claw y'know it only exists because of you
My asks are open for your toga/togachako requests if you wanna
I especially love AUs
Won't promise I'll draw everything but if I have some headcanons and ideas or lil drabbles I'll try to answer you all :3
(please don't beat me if I answer for long (be ready that it may take a week or more), if I do I'm probably drawing haha)
I'm rewatching Hannibal and an AU came to me… unexpectedly.
(Togachako) Hero x Serial killer!AU (feat. pro hero!Deku and Dynamight) ~☆
tw: bad English, lots of rambling, toxic relationship, we're not romanticizing tgck so proceed with caution (and after reading the disclaimer, please), any tw you can associate with Himiko Toga is here (nothing graphic though), overanalysing stuff, amateur psychology and all, dark content in general
Ochako has been unsure what she wants to do after finally starting her hero career, so she basically tries anything she can reach.
Working in the sea with Tsu, galas and interviews with Yaomomo, traveling with Deku (I feel he'd want to spend the rest of his power to see the world and his lots and lots of friends overseas). This time she finds herself getting into the world of quirk-related investigations under the tutelage of Katsuki whose solved criminal case count rapidly approaches the one of Endeavor (his character arc calls to me to be continued after Endeavor's path, please don't pay attention haha).
And with all that, she still tries to save face, knowing that she could've stopped this particular deranged story with just a word.
Why? Well, maybe she knows that no person in the world can leave DNA of people long dead and flaunt bloody confessions on the walls at the same time. No person who's not Himiko Toga.
The traps are set, the cycle starts its turn…
The very start:
° Himiko has genuine fun taunting Ochako with killing civilians while wearing her face
° She thinks she'll give Ochako the "freedom of expressing love" in a way she assumes Ochako wants but can't afford
° Himiko doesn't hide the fact she kills for Ochako and with Ochako's name on her lips
° Himiko torments her victims being transformed into whoever strikes her fancy, but the final strike is always performed so the last thing the poor prey sees is soulful, most gorgeous brown eyes in the world
° Himiko steals blood from the organization Ochako donors for (it's her way of coping with the trauma left by the Final Battle)
° Knowing the traces of her DNA are left at the crime scene even if she certainly didn't leave them there slowly corrodes Ochako's mental defenses
° She starts dreaming and hallucinating about killing those people herself until she can't tell reality from these images
° At one point she sees herself killing people wearing Himiko's face
° Himiko certainly uses it to her advantage. Who'd know when she gets into Ochako's apartment to whisper about all the ways she torments people from the shadowed corners?
° Guilt-tripping Ochako into justifying her actions too
As the madness progresses:
° Ochako can't draw the line between herself and Himiko anymore
° They complete each other in no way that is socially acceptable, but it feels right
° Ochako still tries to convince herself she's a good person and now this applies to Himiko as well because Himiko is "her" now too
° It's like they're drowning and melting into each other, minds a mingled mess of issues and fears, clinging, warping, breaking...
° Ochako's hands are bloody and Himiko hugs her from behind, cooing sweet nothings into her ear as they stare down at the newest "masterpiece" together
° Clay, warm hands and shaking fingers
° Ochako feels phantom touches on her skin all the time
° Himiko is being all giddy and "affectionate" with her victims, calling them "cute little presents" which she leaves for Ochako
The final stages:
° Ochako has a dream of killing Izuku. She fantasizes about it a lot later. There are tons of guilt and self-loathing, but she feels it would be the right thing to do. Become a way to "thank" Himiko by showing her effort isn't one-sided. She somehow knows it'd end the vicious cycle, but she just can't
° The Devil and Stockholm Syndrome (it's kinda questionable, I know, so we're taking it with a grain of salt)
° Dissociation
° Devil's advocate
° Cases named after astronomical phenomena
° Christmas, and Ochaco finds a bunch of vials filled with blood, all wrapped in a pretty thick red ribbon with a pompous bow on top. It's the legacy they've created together
Note:
I don't see the two as a healthy romantic relationship (I don't say you can't, it's just my opinion), so this scenario is relatively close to what I'd call realistic. Ochako who sees herself as a good person in any case (even if she's just too selfish to confront herself deep inside) and Himiko who takes the role of the bad part where Ochako can't.
Psychobabble (I'm no professional, it's more about how I feel than anything):
I based this whole AU on the traits I found in original manga and just extrapolated/exaggerated them into whatever this is now
Ochako loses feeling of what differs saving others and saving oneself and chooses to save "herself" (aka Himiko) in the end
Ochako is outright childish. She can't let the mask of a "hero" slip only because it's her shield against the world. She's torn apart by the ideas society put in her head, she can't imagine the concepts of "protect the weak" and "everyone is valid" existing together
In the end, she just resorts to the Friend or Foe (mine/anyone else) worldview so it's easier to process. Of course, what is "hers" is always considered as right and justified
Her empathy for Himiko has gotten to the point where it starts to consume her. She projects herself, her fears and motivations on Himiko, and it only makes things worse
Although, her empathy is quite selective. She can't empathize with the families of those who are killed by Toga. She thinks she can, but it comes from the guilt brewing inside her (it's still focused on self), not actual ability to put herself in others' place
Ochako feels she can be "like Deku", that she can save and forgive "bad people" like him. She finds comfort in such thoughts and hides behind them so she doesn't need to acknowledge the drastic differences in the situations
About the character archetypes:
For Ochako I can't figure out just one, but if I name the type it'd be "Not Bad But Confused" probably. Issues come from the fact her personality is too adaptive, and her worldview has shifted severely and continues to do so. In this situation, her way of coping happened to be finding an anchor in the wrong person, it happens to people all the time in real life too after all
Himiko shows as a symbolic "Devil", her presence is more phantom/ephemeral. Yes, she poisons Ochako's thoughts greatly, but the most work is done by Ochako and her own insecurities
Deku is similar to her, more of a symbol than a character. He's needed more as a deity-like/almost religious presence. Kinda ironic that his original character is heavily under the Hero Myth's (not sure how it's called in English, sorry) influence which is connected to the Bible in some ways
Katsuki stands out a bit as he's clearly the "workaholic cop" (workaholic hero in our case), no more than that as per his role. He's here so Ochako can value herself as "above his way of thinking". Side by side she clearly comes out as more "understanding" and sympathetic (NOT EMPATHETIC, don't confuse the terms!). Well, he's the person to bring her back to earth. A stoic one without a prominent character arc (it's often considered bad, but a flat arc can also be fine when handled properly)
Dividers are created by me.
If you're willing to take this AU under your wing or do something inspired by it, please credit me (you can tag me too)
my lovelies @dailytogachako @bigclownshoes @luxkycharmz you asked me to tag you, I hope I didn't forget anyone...
- Is my hair lovely now, Ochako-chan?
- Sure, Himiko-chan.
I challenge you, my lovely precious fellow togachako artists, to redraw this in your style! Just tag me if you do pls :3
(You don't need to redraw both pics if you don't want, I just couldn't help myself huh...)
(The idea is grown up Ochako meeting Himiko in the dream realm after cutting her hair short)
the hashtag is #tgckmarama2024, you can use it too if you wanna!
Idea of short hair for Ochako belonged to Kirimo on Twitter. She's a cool artist, you can go check out her art too!
Now having gotten somewhat used to the void in my chest I can finally drag all my thoughts about the epilogue into one pile
I know it may be getting old for some of you guys already, but I haven't seen some things being discussed anywhere
My problem with the ending is actually with the audience, I literally have almost no issues with how the epilogue is written, all the minor ones I have don't come from the epilogue but the previous plot building which wasn't perfect by all means.
1. People forget that this chapter isn't the Epilogue but the Epilogue pt. 2
TWO PARTS YOU KNOW
Please reread 430. You did? Now let's compare.
a) Can you see what the chapter is focused on? 430 is a lot more shallow, it focuses on facts and tries to contain all the changes at once and looks VERY rushed. Hori didn't have much time with his schedule, so of course he tried to fit all at once and nothing at all. This chapter is more about the system and facts, trying to answer the more crucial questions fans may have.
Chapter 430 has ~20 pages
431 has almost 40 (!)
b) 431 finally has time to look at the characters up close. Why there is so much about Uraraka? Well, because in the pt. 1 she's got one panel and a couple of words. That's why half the chapter is about her now, because she and Izuku are the male and female leads of the manga.
c) Why didn't we have more of Katsuki? Well, this character isn't very known for huge inner monologues and all this sappy stuff. We can get enough from character interaction and subtle cues, as always. Despite being a big asshole and a major loudmouth (I say this with all my love and adoration guys), Katsuki is a really stoic character. And this kind of character doesn't need a whole 5 pages writing down their motivation and inner thought process. I like this. This man remains the most conscious person here and has the greatest development in the series (and Shoto, sure, these two are on the whole other level compared to others in terms of writing)
Izuku and Ochako are more open to us, and it shows in the chapter's way of storytelling
And Shoto is still the most relatable dude here, me too, Shoto, me too...
2. Izuku is NOT shutting Katsuki out of his life. He basically invited him to TEACH TOGETHER just like Katsuki invited him to BE HEROES TOGETHER.
To me it shows clearly that these two just found their two paths that don't align fully. Izuku has been teaching for years after his quirk was gone. Sure, he still adores hero job, but he already has stability and purpose and it's IMPORTANT to him. He's only been back to heroics for a month after all. Izuku has matured significantly, and I respect that about his character even if it's not perfectly written.
"Izuku wouldn't ever decline the offer". Do I need to remind you that it's whole 8 years after their school days?
Imagine yourself 16, dreaming to start a rock band with your best friend. You're both so passionate about it, you think music is the most beautiful thing in your life and you'll never be over it.
But you get your fingers injured severely, and you can't play your guitar anymore. You're devastated, but your knowledge is valuable and you get a whole teaching degree and go to work in a musical college. It feels very fulfilling to you. But your friend is very talented, he continues and pushes forward and actually becomes a worldwide known rock star! You're so glad for him!
But the time passes, and your friend, now famous and loaded, states – you're getting most expensive treatment and surgery, and we – I and our old band bros – pay for this.
And your fingers, they work properly again. You had a whole life of 8 years, and now there are so many possibilities open. You know your friend wants you to join his band and travel and rock the stage together, he offers it to you without expecting much, because he knows you have your life settled already, you can't change that with a flick of a wrist. He's an understanding friend, even if his passion for your old shared dream burns brighter still. You can join his band for a concert or two once in a while, it's a good reprieve from your everyday life. But as much as you love music, your priorities shifted significantly since your youth – and now teaching is as important and precious to you.
You even invite your friend to give a lesson of two in the college where you work. It's a way for you two still remain in each other's lives even if your paths are a bit different now. Your connection is built on compromise and genuine support from both sides, and it's fantastic!
I know the analogy isn't perfect, but it works I suppose.
3. About Himiko and Ochako. It's a painful one, but
No, Himiko wasn't haunting Ochako for the whole 8 years, it's probably a time to time occasion. It's not because Ochako is tired, it's because she can't let go of her guilt and at particularly taxing times it manifests in these visions.
Dreams are still a big mystery for science, but what we know is that they're almost always NOT about what you see, but about the hidden layers of meaning.
And of course we know this is not REAL Himiko, it's just Ochako's mind.
So I don't understand all the weeping around Himiko now being DEAD FOR REAL OH. This is Ochako's mind, not a literal Toga's spirit no matter how much Horikoshi wants his symbolisms to be literal in this story. It's still open to interpretation if Toga is dead or notnot (she's coping).
Tsuyu is so Tsuyu 😭😭😭
Right, my girl, this dummy really thought there's something wrong with her health while she just needed to see a psychologist...
I remind you that psychotherapy is severely underdeveloped in Japan. There's still a lot of stigma around mental health there, so please keep this mentality in your mind while reading manga. "They could just go and see a therapist." No, they couldn't. Their culture doesn't work like this, and societal norms aren't a joke in Japan, they're literally overwhelming.
And about how this chapter "ruined" Himiko. To me, it didn't.
"Himiko was written for Ochako". Exactly. Ochako's main negative character trait was inability to open up about her true feelings, putting up a cheerful front and all that.
Himiko was created to get her to understand what suppressing emotions does to people. Unfortunately, it seems she didn't catch this message fully until Himiko told her with plain words and freaking pushed her forward.
And isn't it a torture for Himiko seeing Ochako beating herself over her death, putting up a brave front to avoid her inner struggle which is COMPLETELY OPPOSITE to what Himiko tried to convey?
And Himiko loved both Izuku and Ochako, so of course she wants them to be special for each other and open up to each other too.
Because Himiko LOVES love in any form (pun intended), and wishes happiness for her special people, and sees how they have been holding back from living how they wanted.
Do you really think Himiko would prefer a depressed Ochako having hallucinations of her over an Ochako who's opening up and rebuilding connections with the man she yearned to reach out to for so long?
And of course I'm not about the ship. This manga was never about the ships. We've got a clue that Izuku barely had any contact with his former classmates since graduation in 430. This chapter is created to gives us hope that it'll change, starting with Uraraka because Uraraka was the one to reach out to him first in the beginning, and now it's his turn.
I imagine that it's just a start of the reconnection arc. Izuku can do this with the rest of his classmates too later, and knowing his tendency to butt into others' business he certainly will.
(Yeah, it's an actually good idea for a new tome for you Hori, not Boruto 2.0, never Boruto 2.0 please...)
4(?). This one has gotten me confused...
They studied 3 years... so they must have become class 2-A, then 3-A.... I hope it's a bad translation.
Do you trust Jirou? She certainly did put a whole ton of wasabi in his food, look at her face
Katsuki not toasting because he's the sober friend for his whole bunch of idiots>>>>
(he really has come here for the food)
Katsuki, when did you undergo your Syndrome arc?
A long time ago i was thinking a lot about himiko as the queen of snakes or as a naga. @marronje even made a very beautiful fanart based on my idea!! (thank u sm again for the drawing 🫶🫶). Well, I was going through pinterest and saw this
It's a 2021 fanart made by @cloudysunflowr !! I loved it so much, so i decided to repost it here, the artist is more active on his twitter
Someday, after 10 years, I'll finish the whole Himiko tarot deck, print the cards and do togachako readings for you guys, just you wait and see
I may have some ways of coping and Himiko speaks to me somewhat darker than usual
8 of swords is about feeling trapped and robbed of freedom
It's also about feeling abandoned and cold, lonely and confused, like a cornered animal
"Let the birds of my soul fly freely at last..."
And yeah this one is the pic I was talking about in this post. It makes so much more sense now
part 3/x

What doesn't kill us makes us stronger guys
So working with what Hori gives us
No tgck? Okay, I'll play with the reincarnation idea instead
1. Ochako starts her quirk counseling program. She's so nervous but determined at the same time. She actually tries to do some work herself despite not having the qualification, and difficult children do open up to her somewhat. A young, bright heroine, and she's so understanding too! She doesn't see them as monsters, and her smile is so pretty...
A few cases go well, not without issues, but it's still good for a start.
She can't participate in every single case, but having a free day has her wandering the streets to clear her thoughts a bit.
And there she stands.
This girl, she doesn't look older than 5 years, a pair of uncanny yellow eyes peering up with a smile of blood-stained teeth. Her fingers are so small, stained with mud and blood too.
"Ne, ne, oneechan, do I look cute?~"
2. Or we can just accept izuocha and give our girl the best fucking parents ever. It's not about ships, it's about Himiko having two people she loves giving her pure, unconditional love she hasn't got in her previous life.
I wish I could have izuocha as my parents too okay???
3. Ochako often takes unfamiliar routes when returning home from work. It's actually fun, and also gives her an opportunity to survey the city for future patrols.
She notices a black cat starts following her one day.
Each day it seems to magically know where she'll be.
It looks so tired and weak, Ochako's heart clenches. She stops and tries to pet it once. It's fur is a bit coarse from the filth and dust of the streets, but it accepts her pets ao eagerly. But then it bites her, and runs away, clearly freaked out. Ochako isn't mad, but...
... can cats actually feel guilty?
The cat comes to seat near her house sometimes, leaves some birds it hunts as trophies. Ochako nearly gags the first time, but praises her furry friend anyway. It's just instincts, how can she blame it?
The kitty only lets Ochako feed her if her human lets her gnaw on her fingers and lap up the welling blood afterwards.

Ochako is so beautiful in this chapter.
I wanna eat hori's art, she's so abfghgkfkdkk
And Himiko, I'm so proud of her personally, it was HER who made the final push to get these two dummies to do this
I love how much influence Himiko holds in Ochako's life even after ages of being dead
The girl who brought so much pain and who survived so much pain, but even after her death she's the one to bring light into the life of the only girl who understood her for real
Himiko living and dying for love is everything I ever needed from this manga
okay, I'm in class now but I need to talk about this. I just saw this official extra chapter and I want to point out a few things.
Toga is dead.
In this scene, it seems that Uraraka was nervous about talking to Deku after so long and Toga appears and gives her a push. Encouraging her to talk to him.
Behind Toga we can see the tree and birds that appeared when she was between life and death. She's also wearing the same school uniform
This shows that she is dead, but her "soul" appeared to help/support Ochako (or something like that idk)
Honestly, I didn't want it to be like this but I'm happy for Uraraka. I think Toga is happy for her too. Uraraka fought, pursued her dreams, and grew. All of this because of Toga, who gave her every last drop of blood...Let's not be sad about this tgck nation, let's continue standing strong and rooting for our girl!!!!
I JUST WAKE UP
AND MY DAY IS ALREADY PERFECT
Your ideas just inspire me so much, I can't stop thinking about them hehe 😅🥺
You're genuinely the only one who can get me to draw tgck haha, so I'm the one who should say thanks here 🫶
And you take time to actually look at the details every time, it warms my poor old heart 😭🤧💓
If God had meant us to fly, he would have given us wings
Ochako says it's bullshit
Ochako says she'll become your wings
@dailytogachako marronje the drawing demon is at your service again
Well, I just couldn't resist, Himiko and snakes in one sentence summon me eventually

And the shahmaran idea bought me because this (healing flesh! do we have some manga flashbacks tgck nation???)
I'll give you all my blood venom
and this
aaand this of course
thinking about harpia ochako and shahmaran himiko
SO TRUE I WAS ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE HAHA
What's funny is that I literally needed this moment with Himiko to understand like
oh, so this floaty girl's quirk is a bit... lethal
woah
In 2020 when bnha became extremely popular, I remember perfectly that many people hated uraraka for no reason and one of the "arguments" was that she was "weak" and her quirk was "useless", but like, LOOK AT THIS!!!!
HER QUIRK IS EXTREMELY STRONG AND USEFUL!! It can be used for both good and evil if you think about it. I'm glad ochako chose to use it for good though.
Himiko tries out mittens for the first time
a bonus
Hear you out, but not in october @dailytogachako
There was no time to draw, but I was think about this idea.
Therefore, I will say that now I have a small comic in development. It is close to this trope...
Someday I will end all my started arts... maybe...
This dialogue happened like 5 mins ago
Wifey: You know it's Christmas soon, we need more drawings from youuuu
Me: Pray it isn't togachako
She left a flaming heart reaction on my message
I've been doing Toga tarot readings now yeeea
NOW that's what I call ✨culture✨
It send chills down my spine a bit
Good Nighteye parallel, I didn't think of it like
She literally was holding them
But they slipped away
Leaving only
Guilt
*sobbing*
In the helicopter ride ochako is barely conscious.
She has her eyes barely opened and it looks like she's constantly getting in and out of consciousness.
Do you think it's because she's making sure that himiko is there too?
That when the heroes came to take her to the hospital her eyes instantly snapped open because she felt the pressure of himiko's body slipping and the only thing on her mind was saving her.
To make sure she's okay. To make sure she didn't die.
To make sure she didn't fail in saving someone again.
Like nighteye
That when she saw himiko's unconscious body with most of her blood drained, unconscious not knowing whether or not she's dead. The fragments of her cute smile on her face. That she begged them to take her with them.
That she begged them to save her. To take her instead. Do you think she refused to let go until she was reassured that they would help her as well.
That when they're boarded on the helicopter she never takes her eyes off of her. To make sure that she doesn't disappear again.
She doesn't know if himiko's alive. She's unsure if she does want to know. Too afraid to ask. Too afraid to face the reality she might've failed again.
Too afraid that she might've lost someone she loved.
She doesn't know if it's love. She doesn't know why she was so affected by her tears that day in the house.
She just knows that it hurts her to see them.
But it hurt her even more when she saw them again in what might've been himiko's last moments. Himiko told her she couldn't live in a world without her.
Ochako is unsure whether she could live in a world without himiko as well.
I'm looking through my drafts rn and I think I wrote this when we saw ochako in that helicopter getting airlifted to a hospital??? What was I on when writing this 😭😭😭
You mention Toga and anything related to snakes and here is marronje your summoned drawing demon
@dailytogachako my tgck idea supplier
you're keeping me sane
(◍•ᴗ•◍)
Okay guys you know what I did
In another universe, Himiko was born as one of the most beautiful women in her village. She always attracted the attention of everyone who lived there. One day, her consent was taken from her. Overcome with grief and sadness, she petrifies all who dare to look upon her beauty again. She turns into stone all who dare to touch her again, all who set eyes on her. It's almost like something inevitable...
Where Ochako is blind.
THE EXPRESSIONS and HAIR APHFTFDSFJKP
Very lovely :3
Actually I did this
Vampire Himiko x Werewolf Ochaco
Idea belongs to @dailytogachako
They look happy, yay
