Bonus: Have them explain why they’re afraid of it to begin with.
“Thank you, that would be amazing. Who’s your friend?” Julian asks, motioning to the small creature. It was… cute? It certainly was different.
((Sorry about the long wait))
Vincent shook his head. Setting out three bowls and pouring food into each. He looked out the window. But he shook off the feeling and took out some spoons to eat the stew with. The little winged lizard on his shoulder chirping and eyeing Julian. “Will you need to stay here? I wouldn’t mind to give you shelter if you need it.”
Julian took his time but didn’t want to take too long. He made sure to wash all of himself before standing, drying off, and putting the clothes back on, along with the new shirt. It fit surprisingly well, though a bit tight on his chest. He walked over to Vincent and grins.
“Anything I can do to help?” He asks. He’s never been that good at cooking, be he was good enough not to poison himself.
Vincent almost half smirks, before leaning down to help the other up. “It was no trouble. The ferals do not wish to fight a pack leader. They are not strong enough. Just scavengers.” He kept his voice low as he spoke. Looking ahead of them as he offered to help the other to his feet. “It is not far. Do you think you can keep walking?”
Julian walked in and grinned. This place had a good feel to it.
He easily caught the shirt. “Thanks. I’d love a bath.” He said, walking over and getting undressed. He placed his new shirt, pants, and garments that were not ripped neatly on the ground. He climbed in and sighed, letting himself relax after so long. It was insane trusting someone already, but at this t point he could get killed and he wouldn’t even care.

Julian blushes deeply and brushes off his clothes. His shirt was ripped, exposing most of his chest. He fumbled with the pieces before shrugging.
“Yeah, I’m fine. My shirt isn’t though!” He laughed.

“Oh, definitely not. I must thank you again for saving my life, it’s not every day that happens.” Julian says, smirking. Julian tripped on a branch and fell on his face. His face hits the ground, and he grunts. Of course, why not! Run from guards. Ok. Run from a werewolf? Why not! Get saved by on. Alright. Fall on his face? Of course. Just his luck.
Vincent watched still. Making sure that the ferals were indeed gone. Not laying in wait for him to leave so that they could devour the new comer. He turned on his hind leg then. Looking over the male as he spoke. He nodded and closed his eyes. It looked almost uncomfortable to change back to a human. He flinched a little but felt no pain. Till finally he was the same red headed male as before. Dressed in furs and animal skins. A cloth shirt, and breeches, but buck skin boots, and grieves. He looked to be a tribal men from the mountains.
He looked the male over before cracking his neck, and moving to pick up his bow and arrows. “You were brave to come into these woods human. What are you running from?” He said scooping up his belt as well with the few rabbits still hooked to it. Tucking the bow back over his shoulder as he crossed his arms.
Julian grinned and quickly followed him. “Wonderful to meet your acquaintance. The name’s Julian. I’d be glad to come with you! You are quite right on the fact that the city doesn’t like me, though I have no idea why!” Julian said, smirking.
He walked beside Vincent, trying to subtly look him up and down. and, well, when was he ever subtle?

Julian blinked a few more times, before standing up straight and fixing his clothes. “I, well I was out on a stroll and was attacked. City guards are crap, and thankfully I lost them.” He says smugly. He looked at the man in front of him, and wow. He’s a lot prettier like this. A lot.
“That was very impressive, so thank you for saving me.” He said. He was a damsel in distress and was gallantly saved. Ok, well not a damsel, but still, swooning was required.

Julian watched, stunned as a man transformed into a wolf. A man. Into a wolf. One of the weirder things he’s seen to tell you the truth. He only heard of these types of people in myth, but now, to see one in person. It was shocking, to say the least. He stayed crouched as he watched the other wolves and the one that protected him face each other. Thankfully the others left. Julian’s heart pounded as he looked at the form in front of himself. He blinked a few times to make sure he wasn’t imagining it. Maybe he was dreaming? Or hallucinating, maybe his food got spiked. No, this was definitely real. A werewolf just protected him. He slowly stood up on shaky legs. “Well, that was a very cool trick. Can, well, can you turn back?” Julian asks, already taking a step back just in case he had to run.
Vincent was hunting. Keeping to himself as usual. Barely on the edge of the woods as he chased a rabbit that far. He was just barely far enough to hear it. The sound of the ferals. Something was wrong. They were howling and Vincent could hear their hearts racing. They were hunting something as well. That didn’t bode well.
Vincent tied the rabbit off to his belt and took off in the direction of the sound. Finding the source of the other wolves delight. Some poor soul seemed to have found himself in their territory. He ran into the clearing and yelled to the man as he dropped his bow and arrows, “Get down!” As he saw one of the ferals emerging from the tree line.

Julian ran towards the trees, looking back once more to see if the guards were still following him. Honestly, they really needed to hire new people if they couldn’t keep up with him, he wasn’t even trying that hard! They were far back but didn’t seem to be stopping, which, he’ll give it to them, is impressive. He turned back towards the forest and sprinted into it. A shiver ran up his spine the farther he went in. The thick undergrowth caught at his feet, making him stumble. There was barely any animals sounds, only the sound of a soft breeze. Julian could hear something… something coming towards him. He had to move. Now! He took off away from the city, deeper into the woods. Honestly, he couldn’t catch a break! Whatever it was, there was quite a few. He could hear the branches snapping as whatever it was moved quickly towards him. The sound seemed to be from all sides, closing in around him. He ran into a clearing and looked around, not seeing anything except for trees. His head snapped to the side as he heard a human voice yell to get down, without thinking he dropped to the ground, crouching as low as he could. He really hoped it wasn’t a guard, but with his luck, anything was possible.
