I am fictionkin myself and I also find the disregard for creators to be really uncomfortable.

I have seen people who kin a character from a TTRPG podcasts and shudder because I learned that the character is an expression of the player's own traumas and was a way for them to process their trauma and heal. And there is something about taking another persons deeply personal character and going "im them thats me" and claiming them that feels disgusting. I hate it.

thats another sorta thing that happens, in most of my answers for the questions i asked there was 1 thing in common: 'dont bring it up/be quiet about it'

it seems like they are more secluded then the other communities. it feels like they put up a whole wall for you to climb before you discover a new thing about fictionkins. i feel bad for ya cuz it seems like they do it inside of their own community too

its just strange feelings and things ykyk (also im not fictionkin myself-so this is seem from an outsiders pov ig)

bit of a messy rant cuz brain barf blob thing:

it feels weird and wrong that ppl are basically kinning with actors bodies,voices,etc ive always wanted to be an actor myself and if anybody kinned with the character i was voicing or acting out as i just kinda see it as '"too much" like..hey thats my voice! thats me! why do you think your me? im me!' for those fictionkin i think more of beyond the character. most actors dont even know about the nonhuman community so what would they think if somebody kinned your self insert? i just sorta think that its weird to kin a (past-present-etc) living thing, and basically a human nonetheless. i cant really ignore and go blindsighted to just the character, i want to think about who created them, voiced them, acted out them n stuff

book fictionkin are okay i guess, im just thinking about how thats basically somebodies oc that they spent time working on and shaping into the plot- even if its a backround character

ive tried to get out as much as i can in answers of things im worried about but ive only got a few secured as most were as toxic as the elephants foot. its strange to me on how oblivious they can be when it comes to the person behind the character, they seem to ignore it and just move on like it isnt a giant problem

(please remember that these are just my own opinions and you can ignore them, we both have different brains and can make humane decisions instead of arguing :P)

*edit: i know kinning is involuntary-im a therian myself and for those who may be insulted by the use of the word 'kinning' due to its backstory, i find it quite helpful as theres not really another world like it that ive found and have sorta taken it under my wing to try and make it a regular word. there have been plenty of words with weird ahh and violent backstories that some ppl use on the regular lolol

boutta group up with these randos while it spring and the cows give birth so ill be gone for a few days!!! /j (but yee ill actually be gone lolol- dw ill catch up if any requests or things happen!)

SERVAL!!! omg i love these guys so much they look like king cheetah caracal hybrids! they also kinda remind me of african wild dogs cuz of their dish-like ears XD i bet if i showed a pic of one of these to my ma (not as animal hyperfocused as me + dosent know difference of leopard, jaguar and somehow cheetah) will prob say this is a cheetah cub lolol i wish greedy people would just let them live in the wild and not keep them as pets where they dont belong tho-its so sad like bruh just adopt a reg cat :(

awhile ago i made an oc into a cat mask for fun and didnt share it much so here yall go!! :D (xdd im an elk therian btw so i couldnt rlly shape it into much of that)

her name is heronsprout! a starclan cat who isnt quite in starclan yet, so they sorta just wander around the territories as a ghost, and as her real body gets taken over by nature so does her spirit! she likes to observe the clans and things around her instead of interacting with them since she dosent want to scare anybody with her presence and looks. she thinks of herself as 'cursed' and no living cat knows where her body is, or if shes even dead. (im also thinking of making an alive lover for her someday ehehe)

i went on a northwest trek jeep tour yesterday and saw elk CLOSE UP!!! (since it was feeding time lolol and we did a bit of offroading) it felt so amazing to be there, i felt so connected and i even got a upclose shot of bison fur! (lolol his name was meadow and hearin him graze was so satisfying) tbh i absolutely love that place and i def reccomend to any cerivdae,bison or moose therians!! they also have a sorta zoo place that dosent require an appointment filled with all sorts of animals from the north and it was nice to explore! (prob dont guarantee seeing all of those animals tho since they are in enclosures with certain viewing areas) i also got a buncha other photos but decided it aint worth it since most were blurry,doubles or just werent good XD

also points to the elk matriarch cuz she was starin at us like an owl and protectin her fellow ladies like she should >:D more cool things but not in a rant way!: - our driver found a shed antler and it was so heavy T_T -got plenty of nature pics -saw a bighorn sheep which were sorta a rare sight according to our driver! -the elk ran across the water cuz they were sorta scared of the jeep at first and it sounded like a waterfall but way better -driver was so nice and informative! they knew like every single one of the animals names- -i now want a pet sassy goat, a bison with a bowlcut, 3 moose who act like siblings but come from different places and to kidnap my local swan

i may have discovered a new kintype at like 3am yall ill keep ya updated-

also i drew a silly hat cuz i was in a silly hat mood and im running on like 5 hours of sleep (im somehow energetic but its prob the music im playing)

honestly, if im going to say anything i should say it now

id never want to be an elk if i had the choice, i wouldnt take it

im glad to have these human abilities, smarts, and privileges. even though i want horns or a muzzle at times that would also mean i would have a horrible life. prey have alot of downsides with their life, prob not even making it to adulthood. its filled with anxiety, your friends and family just dying around you and running since theres only a small chance of successfully fighting back. predators have evolved right next to us so they know our plans, our moves, and our abilities while humans have quite a life of bliss. we even trap animals that can easily kill us like tigers and bears then look at them within zoos.

i cant really think of any other animal id want to be then the human, perhaps a domestic dog or parrot but thats honestly it
