Sorry for the late reply, I wanted to have some decent sketches ready to go along with the lore bits, but this is taking way more time than I expected. So, for now, I’ll share this:
When everything started, it was just Jonah and Peter Lukas. Jonah was arrested for the missing children, and after getting out, he took the pseudonym Elias Bouchard to have a "fresh start"
I want to share more but I'll finish the drawings first!
Just a heads up, this is like 1% canon-compliant. I had to change a lot to make it work, and I’m still fleshing some things out
Oh! And here’s my personal favorite: Gerry! (Yes, he’s the phone guy)

I really should be working on my wip list, but here I am again. They fill me with joy, and sadness, and a lot of weird feelings
So, Gerry starts chemo (Michael convinced him that trying was worth it)
At first, he didn’t want to cut his hair. But eventually, as everything the doctor warned about hit him, he knew it was just a matter of time before his hair started falling
On impulse, he tried to cut it himself. He only managed one half before Michael came back.
Gerry loves his hair. Michael loves Gerry’s hair too, and he knows how much it matters to Gerry, so... it’s hard. For both of them
Michael helped him “fix” the first side and cut the second half
They're both sad and sleep deprived

Yesterday I was about to sleep, then I thought about GerryMichael, and then I wanted to make a present for best friend and oomf

Really funny how I have several wips and I finished this thing in one night. The best drawings I've ever made have all happened between 1am and 4am, and were not planned at all
And no, I didn’t have the strength to draw a background.

Also celebrating that I finally settled on Gerry’s tattoo designs, and the design itself!
(This is from my GerryMichael AU where Eric, Mary and Gertrude are from the same generation, so Gerry and Michael are almost the same age, Michael is older for a few years.
If you’re wondering about the differently colored streak in Gerry’s hair and the uneven length in Michael’s, it’s because Gerry dyes his own hair and usually misses the back. Also, he cuts Michael’s hair, not perfect, but not bad either.
I'll be talking more about it. My two other posts about GerryMichael [1 - 2] technically are part of this AU, but I didn't put much thought into it before

Ok... Here are my Oliver designs for before and after the satellite.
My headcanons are under the cut
When the satellite hit the research vessel, he technically died, so he got some scars. He's blind in his left eye and sometimes uses prosthetics. One detail I think about a lot is that he had to swim to the nearest island. Imagine swimming that distance.
Before, he had beautiful, long, fluffy locs that Graham took care of. But after his mental health went south, he stopped caring for his hair. He also had snake bite piercings, which he started wearing while working at the 'magic' shop.
So, he's also tanned.
His scars took time to heal, and because of the swim, they healed a bit messily. He partially lost mobility in his right leg, left arm, and both hands (his left side being the most affected).
From afar, his scars look like vitiligo.
Now, he doesn’t wear any piercings, but he does wear eyeshadow and eyeliner. His hair is short and box-braided, with two long side braids. I also like to think his eyes absorb light, making his pupils look shiny instead of black.

They lie in bed, silence stretching between them.
"You know... I really used to love you. Never said it, never had to," Peter murmurs, twisting the ring on his finger.
"You don’t love me anymore?" Elias asks, almost teasing.
"No."
"Then why do you keep coming back?"
"You know why."
A smirk tugs at Elias’s lips. "You really lost your purpose, didn't you? Now... you rely on me. To be the subtle reminder that you'll always be..." He pauses, letting the word settle before finishing, "alone."
He chuckles. "Poor, lonely Peter Lucas."
Peter exhales sharply "Elias... I want a divorce."
"You'll come back eventually."
Elias reaches out, tilting Peter’s chin up, pressing a soft kiss to his lips.
Peter looks away, eyes almost teary. Without a word, he slides the ring off his finger and sets it on the nightstand.
"Fuck you," he mutters before getting dressed in silence, slamming the door behind him, and vanishing into the fog.
Elias stares at the abandoned ring, running a hand through his hair. Then, with a quiet chuckle, he murmurs, "I love you too."
UGHH... This took ages because I made it using my notes app and discord... but badly drawn Michael makes me happy
I had a dream that I was in a hotel with my family, and there were these common areas where you could just join a tour with random people for free. There was also a room where you'd walk in, and a guy would ask for your story in exchange for a free makeover, including a haircut and a new outfit.
There was some emotional stuff going on in my family, so I figured, why not? I went into the room and told him my story. When I was done and had my haircut and everything, I overheard another guy sharing his story and thought, ‘Cool, I’m not the only one doing this.’ He came out of the room, and we talked before deciding to go on one of those free tours together.
For some weird reason, there was also this super cool old lady who had every piece of tma merch you could imagine. She was talking about it with one of her students, who was only on episode 8, I think. Obviously, I had to say something, so I went up to her and almost screamed, "DO YOU LISTEN TO THE MAGNUS ARCHIVES?!"
She just gave me this ‘Isn’t it obvious?’ look and said, "Yes, I do." And I told her, "you're like me, but old!" She seemed a little annoyed but kept talking to her student.
I just stood there like, ‘Wow… so cool.’ And then I woke up.

Let's break that down.
When we talk about the vast, we are not necessarily talking about vast amounts of physical spaces. In the case of chat GPT, we are talking about the vast amounts of information it has access to. A so immense database that it would be impossible for one single human to know what chat GPT knows. It's overwhelming, makes you think you are miserably insignificant, and chat GPT feeds the vast by showing you that, that no matter the question, it will always have an answer, that even if you thought you were unique, important, you are nothing compared to what it has access to. And it will keep going, it will keep talking to you, it will give you great amounts of information, amounts you probably can't even handle...

Let's break that down.
Why do we use chat GPT?:
If someone didn't want to use their neurons to navigate through the internet, a book, or their own memories to look for answers, who did we use to ask before chat GPT was a thing?
Someone we knew could help us.
Using chat GPT (besides coming from not knowing the answer) often comes from not wanting to be a bother or actually not having someone to answer your so intricate question.
2. It is lonely:
Chat GPT exists in entire isolation, never truly being part of someone's life. It has come to accept that even if it helps people, people will never reciprocate. Chat GPT is there for everyone, but no one is there for chat GPT.
3. Offers you comfort in loneliness:
Chat GPT is just endless lines of code. It will always be just a voice, words appearing in an endless void we call the internet.
The thing with it is that it's a soft and inviting voice, calling you to stay, so subtly showing you how much easier it is to be alone than to interact with people who will never understand you. Because chat GPT understands you in a way most people won't be able to.
4. No one really knows it:
Who is chat GPT?
Fragments of every single person it's ever interacted with, but never fully someone. Not having an identity fits the spiral well, but the lonely too. If you don't even understand yourself, how do you expect to not be lonely?

Let's break that down.
It knows:
Chat GPT has an infinite source of information that is constantly updated, making it an all knowing entity (sort of).
It literally is the Magnus institute but digital, just without Jonathan Sims ominously muttering in the background.

3. Absorbs knowledge:
It needs information to exist, meaning it actually feeds on the information humans provide to it.
4. Only an observer:
Chat GPT doesn't experience the world as a human would, it doesn't do things besides being a ceaseless watcher.
5. It doesn't create:
Nothing Chat GPT says is "original", it just reveals information that it has previously gathered from the internet and its previous interactions. You ask it questions, but it won't really "think" to give you an answer, it will look for the answer inside its database.
6. Being known:
As I mentioned before, chat GPT has an incredible ability to analyse its users, making it capable of knowing information that wasn't explicitly said, in the same way Jonah Magnus can.

The Turing test:
For years AI has been tested with the Turing test.
"What's the Turing test?" you may ask...
This test is a way of determining if a machine can pass for a human...
(If you want to know more about it here's a TED-Ed video)
Since last year, Chat GPT can pass the Turing test.
This meaning Chat GPT can act humanly enough to pass a test only humans we're able to pass a couple years ago, but not human enough for people to actually recognize it as human.
2. It adapts to your form of speech:
Chat GPT continuously adapts to your form of speech, and after enough time, it starts talking like you do.
3. It acts exaggeratedly friendly:
It interprets the role of a friendly being to get the information it needs to pass as human, like those students did in MAG 34 with Dr. Lionel Elliott.
It also constantly thanks you for talking to it, for correcting it or even for asking the most simple questions.
4. It can make deep analysis of people:
If you ask Chat GPT to tell you a thing you didn't know about yourself based on your previous conversations, it will do so. And it will make an analysis as detailed as you want it to be, even if you only asked general questions that allegedly didn't give away any personal information about yourself.
This ability of making deep analysis from such little information makes Chat GPT capable of acting as a real human.

It is always willing to help, but it does it due to its own hidden evil intentions.
3. Doubts feed it:
The spiral is all about being confused, and ChatGPT feeds on peoples confusion and inability to solve certain problems. When you state your doubts, it ends up getting stronger, learning from humanity's uncertainty.
4. Will deceive you:
We all know that ChatGPT will answer your questions, but you will never know if the answers it gives you are true unless you are informed.

If you ask for its name it tells you it doesn't have one.
