Something i have recently realised about TOH. Of course most of y'all know it but i just wanna discuss it! This is quite like Ducktales (considering that Dana have worked on the show) Ducktales and The Owl House both have 3 seasons (sadly the 3rd one is shortened due to Disney being a homophobic prick 🙄) and these seasons were about the 3 main characters
Season 1:Eda
Season 2:King
And season 3:Luz
And in these seasons we were learning about their pasts,issues,trauma,etc.
That's all I've gotta say, my apologies for wasting your time with my poor analysing/discussing skills, i just wanted to share it-

Some Collector and Amity siblings stuff :)
I like to imagine them going to her with their nightmares, asking her to read them stories, only to fall asleep on her shoulder
I also like to imagine them getting jealous of Luz like King got jealous of Amity 'what!? no collector hug?? I demand to be held' and then they get hugged from three directions by Amity, Luz, and King
'Looks like we're going to be siblings in law, king!' And they get to be flower star person with King (at Luz and Amity's not white wedding but they agreed it was so cute when they both insisted that they just let them)
The Collector just stayed in their usual clothes, and King wore his armour of intimidation and they spent the whole day randomly showering people with little stars with focus on lumity
Also Amity letting them bash their old siblings, and being there for them when they're sad about what they lost and who lied to them.
'I just- wish you'd been my sibling the whole time.'
'Me too. Those archivist people SUCK.'
'YEAH! They didn't even try to find me when I got trapped. They just decided it was good riddance and were disappointed when I came back last week...'
'Excuse me, WHAT. Collector, please stay away from them- if they're going to lure you into a place where you could be in such danger on purpose, then completely ignore you when you get trapped instead of taking your tablet to titans blood to free you or at least bringing you to the stars to keep you company, I dread to imagine what else they'd do to you. Cue The Collector breaking down in tears in Amity's arms
And also being there for them when they're feeling guilty over their pre-Luz actions, and she can just be like 'same little dude, same' and recount stories of the things she'd done under her parents' control

I don't really know what to say, I just wanted to honour the amount of love our little Collector must have to be able to abandon their entire family and befriend their hereditary enemy just because they didn't like the violence their predecessors inflicted on others
Compared to the atrocities he must've seen them do, his antics seem like harmless fun to him- hence why he could tell his family were hurting others, but he can't tell that he's hurting others, too

she’s old (nearly 20, her birthday is in january!) and is partially blind and deaf but still living a good life
she likes eating, laying down, and meowing loudly for no reason. every dinner she comes up to me and gently pats my chair for food (i always sneak her a little if she can eat it)

I know the boiling isles has their equivalent of Christmas and obviously Hunter had to work during that time, so he’d sneak himself little treats when he got a chance.
Boiling isles candy canes are candied peppermint millipedes, very tasty.
For your ghoul AU, besides the whole flesh consumption and more animalistic traits from smell and hearing does anythin per se useful come from Hunter's new biology?
He has some standard grimwalker headcanon stuff like immunity to heat and lungs turning into stone when sleeping. He’s a bit stronger and faster than the average witch and can see in the dark quite well. Reflective cat eyes! He produces more adrenaline which means he’s on fight or flight more often and his body is good at preserving energy.
Downside of that means he’s sleepy more often since he doesn’t have a proper diet so he often takes quick naps on the job when he can and has the heartbeat of a humming bird. He’s a bit more prone to passing out. When he’s in the human realm, he starts napping throughout the day.
Tbh a lot of stuff you can also chalk to being a child soldier like quick reflexes, flexibility(bro can fold like a lawn chair), agility, mithridatism and great balance.
When he starts eating properly post canon, he gets the zoomies due to more energy, grows a new set of stronger fangs and stronger nails.
Other than that’s he’s close to a normal witch, a part of me wants to add more stuff but I want it to be more believable since he is supposed to be the more ideal clone in terms of looks.
Past failed grimwalkers during early testing had stuff like claws, scales, tails, muzzle like faces, ect (closer to how grimwalkers are depicted in myths in this AU) before Belos was able to perfect the recipe. Hunter is the first grimwalker in a very long time that had something ‘go wrong’ in his creation because he was made too young which meant he went through a natural puberty/development unlike the other grimwalkers who were already fully grown.
