Post-totk Zelink headcanon sketches!

I'm still figuring out the details so here's what I've decided so far:
Zelda and Link are both genderqueer!
Link didn't get his right arm back when he lost Rauru's
Link has a bunch of different prosthetics various inventor friends made
Link has a lot of scars, most of which were there before totk
Zelda still has horns, and probably some scales. Might also be able to shape shift into a more draconic form? idk
Zelda keeps her secret stone on a longer chain so she can wear it under her clothes
Zelda still wears the earrings Sonia and Rauru gave her
I have a bunch more ideas but they aren't quite fully formed yet, so I'm going to end this post here ^^

lineart and process talk under cut
Why did I decide to draw complicated mechanical structure. Look at all these details! I mean it was a great challenge and I'm very proud of the result, but it also melted my brain!! And it was so hard to get good reference images
the process was pencil sketch -> pen lines -> digital coloring (ibis paint on my phone)
The coloring took almost 3 hours, and the line art probably took longer than that but I wasn't paying attention
Sketchy Links in various outfits! I'm coming back from a couple month break in drawing regularly, so these doodles helped to shake the rust off.
So I just learned that Ganondorf is a Gerudo, and I’ll first admit I’m new to the Legend of Zelda lore but I’m pretty sure all Gerudo are female?
Theory: Ganondorf is transmasc.
I’d also like to say that Link is extremely ambiguous with gender according to the creators but they use he/him pronouns for him and he can easily pass as a female with the right clothing in Gerudo town.
Theory: Link is also transmasc.
Now I’m gonna mention the fact that Ganondorf and Link keep fuckin fighting across many different incarnations and across SO many years or at least thats what I’ve gathered.
Conclusion: Link and Ganondorf is just transmasc on transmasc violence

Also quick update on the zelda zine thingy. Finished drawing the extra stuff! So 50 new pages of dragon shenanigans to ink :D
