A little comparison of little gremlin to adult gremlin! I hope you enjoyed this week's installment of 'Slices of Gremlin'! Here’s a bit more of an update to their ref! I’ll clean it up when I can! And take some more info on them and circus trolls!
More facts about my sona:
- They’ve become grey before, though regained their colour after a while of trying to get better, though, some of the grey fur stayed, but they don’t mind it.
- They tend to hop between listening to upbeat music and slower music, just depends on their mood.
- They have a few friends among the circus trolls, and other trolls too after the events of Trolls World Tour.
- They live alone, they prefer mainly doing their own thing as that’s what makes em comfortable, though they go out sometimes for walks, sometimes during the night since they enjoy the stars.
Facts about Circus trolls:
- They mainly live in trees or in tunnels, and usually have a main stage area for shows and for trolls to preform their talents.
- They vary in size and height, and their ears, tails, patterns, and colours vary a lot, though are mainly comparable to cats and big cats.
- When a mix of another kind of troll, that would often show through a mix of their patterns, colours, and physical looks.
- The jungle that they live in is very bright, a big variety of colours and shapes and plants, it also has parts that glow in the dark. The circus trolls patterns help them blend into such environments.

- A bit mixed with more of a slow type music troll (think Mitskis music), which I will tie into their design when I can

Everyone seemed to like Poppy and Branch si have the only others concept I had. I probably won't post anymore about this, I just liked the colors

In comparison the only changes I made for velvet was her body type, I wanted her to match the movie more (plus I gotta practice with more body types ngl)

"I hope this doesn't end bad" she sighed as JD left the pod
Star continued her daily routine, but the images and comments from last night were stuck in her head "I thought she got rid of that" "white is so not popular" "she looks like a freak" "I wonder what happened to her hair"
she sat all day thinking to herself 'I can't let them find out.....' those same words kept repeating over and over, the more she thought of it the more her worry had increased.
~time skip~
it was now afternoon and Star was finally starting to calm down until... a knock was heard on the door "wonder who that could be" she got up to open the door to see all the bros, standing there, looking worried and concerned "oh!.... hey guys... what brings you here today?" after a few moments of silence, Clay finally spoke up "hey Star.... we just wanna talk and ask you some things, is it ok if we come in?" ".... um.... yeah, it's ok" her tail slightly swayed from nervousness as she let them in
Once they all sat in the pod, there was an uncomfortable silence until Bruce spoke up "so.... JD told us about the concert and we wanna know...... What happened....?"
Star felt a lump in her throat and her tail wrap around her leg when Bruce asked, she tried sounding calm as she answered
"W-Well....the doctors say I was born with it..."
all the brothers looked at each other then back at Star not convinced "bullshit, Star just tell us the trut-" "John!, we can't be so hard on her, you know how she get sometimes" Floyd interrupted, reminding John at how anxious Star could get in a situations like this
"Star, we just wanna know....what happened, you don't have to lie to us" Floyd spoke, putting his hand on Stars shoulder, trying to comfort her
"yeah, you don't have to lie cause, we'll be right here" Branch said also trying to comfort Star
"Thats it!" JD snapped "look Starlight, we just wanna know what happened and who might've done this, just give me a name and I'll-"
"JOHN YOU CAN'T BE SO HARD ON HER WE'VE TOLD YOU THIS" Bruce yelled having enough of JDs demanding
"IM JUST TRYING TO FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENED TO HER HAIR"
"I THINK YOU MEAN WE WANNA KNOW WHAT HAPPENED JOHN, WE'VE TOLD YOU THAT SHE GETS ANXIOUS" Clay shouted also having enough of JDs demanding
as the three kept arguing back and forth, Star tried her best to be calm, it was just too loud, her breathing got rapid and she got fidgety but no one noticed cause John, Bruce and Clay were arguing while Branch and Floyd were trying to break it up until
"IT WAS VELVET AND VENEER, THEY'RE THE REASON WHY MY HAIRS WHITE!" she blurted out, just wanting them to stop arguing
the brothers immediately went quiet until they all said "what?"

Star was getting ready for her next concert, 5 minutes till show time, slightly excited because it's the first one she's held one at Pop Village ever since she had came back 2 years ago
she looked out and saw the whole village, cheering and waiting for her to come on stage "ok, makeups done, outfits ready, and now....... hair......" she turned her head to see the wig, laying there on the vanity "wish they didn't see me as a freak, but it is what it is...." Star faced the mirror, looking at her white hair and then sighed until, a voice called out "2 minutes until showtime, lil cuz!" Star's manager, Anthony said
"I'll be out in a sec!" she yelled back, Star breathed in and out as she put the wig on and gave herself a pep talk "just smile, dance, and sing then nobody will judge you and you'll be just fine"
then it was finally showtime, she stepping onto the stage and the crowd went wild and cheered for her, singing along to the songs and having a good time
right when Star was singing her last song of the concert, while doing her choreography she accidentally tripped, tripping hard enough to make her wig fall off (she forgot to glue it on 😔)
everyone gasped as they stopped singing along and began whispering amongst themselves "what happened?" "I thought she got rid of that" "didn't she dye her hair?" the comments got worse and worse until
Star couldn't take it anymore so she quickly got up grabbed her wig and ran off the stage, humiliated and embarrassed
but what she didn't know was that JD was attending the concert and had felt bad for Star but also curious onto how her natural is white.....
that next morning, JD had went to Stars pod to talk to her "Starlight!, are ya in there?" after a few moments of silence, Star finally opened he door with tear stained cheeks and puffy eyes from crying all night "hey Star, is it ok if I come in so we can talk?" silence "um..... sure" after letting JD in, he decided to get straight to the topic "Star, how come your natural hair is white, and didn't you tell me or any of the bros?"
Star immediately froze and her eyes went wide "....w-wait....YOU were at the concert?" "yeah Starlight, and when I got back I told the others about it and they were shocked" there was an uncomfortable silence until Star finally spoke up "well..... I.... I don't like talking about it" Star said, avoiding eye contact as the memories of being trapped in that bottle flooded in her head "look Starlight, I'm not gonna judge you I just wanna know why you didn't tell me and the others" JD said while holding her chin so they could maintain eye contact 'cmon Star if they find out the truth themselves, theyll never forgive you for lying to their faces' Star told herself in her head, feeling guilty if JD and the others had to find out the real reason why her hair is white
"but I'll get going, me and the bros gotta practice for our concert next month" JD said getting up and almost exiting the pod before saying "and just so you know, I'm always here whenever you need me Starlight" he told Star leaving the pod, trying to hide his concern and worry for her
"I hope this doesn't end bad"

I tried to make her a mix of all of them (mostly Poppy and Synth) but I gave her Branches gray skin (from the 1st movie)
I hc that she was born with her gray skin, the doctor told the trio that Piper is healthy and that as she got older, her skin would eventually get lighter??? (does that make sense????)
she is chill and outgoing
(she sneaks away and explores the outskirts of Pop Village which gets her in trouble or grounded)
do NOT give her chocolate unless you want her to be hyper as a crackhead and bouncing off the walls
