new general design for YN? (Kind off.)
I’m going to assume every one has at least more than two(2) bones inside of them and I think this (a skeleton) would solve the all long time dilemma of YN or your name or reader or self insert’s appearance.
sure not everyone has two arms or all fingers and some are missing parts of their calcium-full structure, but this could be a general thing.

FLOWERS (Deuce x Nymph!reader)
AN: I hope you enjoy this, I may make a part 2 if it's requested.
POV: Deuce realising he’s in love with you (but you’re in love with somebody else)
Two monsters stood in the courtyard of their school, one of them talking excitedly about an event that had happened earlier that day.
“And then Lagoona said- Deuce are you even listening to me right now?” The nymph asked snapping her fingers in front of the gorgon, of whom had been staring off into space for the past five minutes.
The gorgon was brought out of his trance-like state to look back at the nymph.
“Huh? Yeah I was listening tell me what… uh, Frankie said.” Deuce responded cautiously.
“What were you even staring at?” She asked peering around, merely seeing Clawdeen and Frankie walking past, she felt a strange feeling in her chest, pushing it away and turning around “You know what, never mind. I need to get ready anyway.”
Deuce’s brows furrowed at this. “Get ready? Get ready for what?” He asked confused.
“My date? Did I forget to tell you? Porter finally asked me out!” She exclaimed smiling, small plants sprouting from her hair and feet “And after you assured me he would too! It’s like your my good luck charm!” Now it was Deuce’s turn to get the funny feeling in his chest, he gently removed the plants from her hair, pressing his tongue to his cheek. “Huh, good for you.” He said trying to sound happy for her, then handing her three flowers that had sprouted. (A habit he had gained after a while of hanging out with her)
“Oh, thank you.” She smiled jokingly curtseying before looking down at the flowers to see what their meanings are “Well this one, is a Yellow Hyacinth which means jealousy and this one is… a Pink Camellia which means… longing, this third one is a red rose, obviously, which means love.”
Deuce smiled as the nymph spoke, listening intently.
“Here, you keep them.” She said, handing Deuce the flowers, he took them but removed the rose and handed it back to her.
“You keep the rose, you’re the one going on a date.” He spoke, the funny feeling in his chest growing as he said the word ‘date’.
She smiled, muttering a small thank-you as she gently kissed the gorgon’s cheek. “Bye, Deuce!” She exclaimed walking off, Deuce watching her leave a smile on her face, his face heating up as he does so.
“Oh no.” He muttered his eyes widening as he suddenly came to the realisation… “I’m in love with Y/n.”

Okay but let’s talk about fanfiction y/n. y/n= your name (NOT LITERALLY IT’S JUST A FANFICTION THING.)
Please keep in mind that I’m not saying people who wrote these kind of fanfictions bad or a bad writer.
Fanfiction y/n is often described as a weak, crybaby, or a softie that can’t even stand up for herself. In some others, y/n is decribed as beautiful, flawless, goddess girl who steals everyone’s boyfriend. That’s pretty much stereotype.
Plus, y/n is supposed to be a proper character made for readers to see their POV on that story. People are supposed to relate to her. Proper characters are supposed to have their own personality. Which this part I don’t see in this y/n character.
Some people say that y/n is a “pick me” girl. Some say that she is “annoying” (I’m using the she/her pronouns because the majority of y/n characters are a girl). And y/n is AALLLWAYS in every romance stories. People said that she always falls in love with the badboy/prince?
Now here are my words:
I’ve talked about this y/n character with my bestfriend and it’s like this:
Y/n is a beautiful character that people should appreciate. Y/n is flawed, but she could be anything. She is not weak, she is not a crybaby, she doesn't need to fix boys, she doesn't need to be with boys at all. Y/n is herself. Y/n should be:
Kind Brave Selfless Caring Helpful Flawed Aloof Loony Cringy Smart Has high self respect Will stand up for her friends and family Talented Skilled Independent Street smart Book smart Beautiful in her way

Creative
Courageous
Supportive
Questionable
Humble
y/n can be like other girls. Because other girls are being theirselves.
Y/n could be anything. Y/n doesn't need to sing the "fight song" to stand up for herself. Y/n stands up for herself because she values herself. She values her friends, family.
She doesn't always need to be with boys. She doesn't owe boys anything. She could be anyone she wants.She doesn’t have to ruin ships.
Y/n is beautiful and people should stop stereotypicalizing her.
Please just make y/n a proper character and give her a proper personality. thanks.

Love at first sight
Tw: A few swear words (fucked up etc) but it's nothing intimate just a few curses people say when they're angry.
Love at first sight was something he didn't believe in, something he didn't want to believe in. Yet, life seemed to have other plans since he'd seen you.
He wouldn't deny how incredibly cliché it sounded if he ever dared say it out loud. But, he was so madly captivated by you that it was outright stupid.
He felt like a goddamn fool but he had to admit it, it was love at first fucking sight. The way you spoke, the way you looked, the way you acted, everything was just so pretty.
He didn't even notice it at first, the way you consumed his thoughts, living in his mind rent-free. His mind always seemed to wander off, memories of what you did today replaying in his mind. The things you told him, the things he overheard you saying to your friends, and even the songs you were humming. He remembered everything, no matter how much he wanted to focus elsewhere.
He wouldn't deny how annoying it was, the way you could entrance him so easily. His face would flush red whenever he saw you smile, elated when he got to sit anywhere near you, yet so incredibly nervous too.
It wasn't even funny looking at how oblivious you were, unknowingly making him act like a madman who's lovesick for you. He would say he hated it, yet how how could he?
After all, you were just so endearing that even looking at you from afar felt like a prize. And when he got to speak to you, there was no doubt that he was over the goddamn moon.
Still, his words would play so smoothly in his mind, a small cough before he spoke, mentally rehearsing what he was going to say. Yet, for some reason he was never satisfied because his words came out so idiotically. They were either too rough, mean, or simply rude. It was either him speaking arrogantly not that he meant to or he was stuttering mess, one who fumbled his words over and over again.
Yet, he would obviously never let you know that he fucked up his words, no matter how rude or dumb they sounded. He wouldn't admit how much of a loser he was, especially because you didn't seem to notice, smiling like usual. No, he wouldn't mess up a chance with you, but that didn't mean he wouldn't be a flustered mess after stuttering.
Still, he hoped you thought about him as he thought about you. He craved you so much, so mindlessly. He wanted you to be the same as him, for you to be down bad.
He'd never let you know, but he wanted your thoughts to be consumed by him, for you to constantly day-dream about him. He wanted him to be a distraction in your life, he wanted you to experience how annoying you were.
He wanted you to experience his love for you.

Note: I'm sorry I haven't been posting often, i've just been so drained lately and schoolwork is taking up my time. It will take time to finish requests so I hope you all can be patient.
