Sunshine Boy 1 , 2 | Kyle Spencer |
synopsis: A typical story of girl meets boy…and maybe some trouble along the way.
Born In Flames | Tate Langdon |
synopsis: Can the devil himself find comfort in simple things? Or does he crave something more cynical..
Study Buddy | Tate Langdon |
synopsis: You have been feeling quite unmotivated recently so Tate shows his support by helping you out.
One Way Ticket | Tate Langdon |
synopsis: Seven months worth of empty promises. Seven months of waiting for things to change yet somehow they always stay the same. Trying to change the outcome of an already released film, is just as pointless as trying to leave the Murder House.
A/N: Hey guys! Here’s an extract from my new Zadison High School AU, in which Zoe and Kyle are childhood best friends and Kyle suggests to Zoe that they should fake date to make Madison jealous so she’ll ask Zoe out. If you’re interested, the link to the full story is down there!
Zoe opened her locker with a careless pull. She ignored the way the lock banged against the neighboring locker and began sorting through the many books inside. She found the ones she needed and stuffed them in her backpack.
"Do you want me to carry that for you?"
She barely jumped when Kyle's voice echoed beside her. She'd seen his legs under her locker door coming into her peripheral vision.
"What? Haven't you done enough pull-ups at the gym today or something?" she replied snarkily.
He glanced at her over the locker door.
"I'm not sure you know what pull-ups are."
Zoe closed the locker and picked up her backpack, grunting as the weight settled on her shoulders.
"You know I don't."
"You sure you don't want me to take it?" Kyle asked again.
Zoe sighed. This was a game they played at least once a week. She knew he would continue to ask until they made it home.
"Fine. Whatever."
She pulled off her backpack and left it on the ground. Kyle, with a satisfied smile, leaned down to pick up the bag by the shoulder strap and pull it on.
"Are we going to the cinema on Saturday?" he asked as he secured the bag over his shoulder. "After the game, I mean."
Zoe shrugged vaguely. Someone had caught her attention in the distance.
"I don't know. Maybe?"
"So, I know what you're gonna say, but there's this great horror movie coming out. I mean, it looks great, and I think you'll like the story..."
Zoe gave a non-committal hum. Heels clicked into the hallway. Zoe's eyes followed the small and slim yet imposing figure of Madison Montgomery as she made her way through the crowd. People seemed to part in front of her and she never had to slow down even for a step. Her brown eyes remained fixed straight ahead of her. She pulled her sunglasses from over her head. For a second, her eyes flickered to the side, finding Zoe's. The next, they were hidden behind the taint lenses of the sunglasses, and she disappeared around the corner.
"...and it's not a possession movie this time, I promise."
Zoe snapped back into consciousness as Kyle waited expectantly for an answer. She blinked and gave another shrug.
"We'll see."
So maybe I’m reading too much into this, and maybe it’s just one big coincidence, but Zoe’s last name is Benson, which means exactly what it means, “son of ben”. Now, Taissa Farmiga previous character on AHS was Violet, and Violet’s father was named Ben.
So is it a joke that they picked Benson as Zoe’s last name, or reference to Murder House? Am I reading too much into this and it’s probably just a coincidence? Am I late to the party and everyone had already figured it out back in 2013? Probably all of the above...
A/N: Hey guys! This is an extract of my new Zadison fanfiction, a paranormal investigators AU in which Zoe does the investigating and Madison is a ghost. If you like what you read I’ll leave a link to the full story at the end!
"I'm here with Cordelia Goode, the owner of Miss Robichaux's Academy. Thank you for letting me investigate your house and agreeing to answer a couple of my questions."
"Of course. I mean it's not really my house. I haven't set foot in it since the repairs that were done a couple of years ago."
"How did you come into ownership of the house?" Zoe asked.
"I inherited it through my mother," Cordelia explained. "She bought it in the nineties when the previous owner put it up for sale but she'd never done anything with it. She simply bought it for sentimental value, because she'd attended school there when she was young."
"But you didn't?"
Cordelia shook her head.
"No, it closed before I did."
"Were you aware of the strange things happening there before you inherited it?"
"Absolutely not. I'd never been there, the building had been closed for decades so no one had been inside since the seventies, I think. No one had told me anything. I had plans to turn it into a Bed & Breakfast because it's a very big house, too big for me anyway, but after what happened during the repairs, I just closed it off completely."
"So you've never returned there?"
"I don't intend to, not after what I saw. My wife would probably kill me if I even thought about it. She says the house has very bad energy. Our daughters are a bit young right now, but I don't plan on ever telling them about the house. I'm not risking it."
"What sort of things did you see?"
Cordelia was thoughtful for a moment.
"Let's see... I slept into the house a few times overnight. I heard a lot of shuffling above my head as if someone was walking upstairs. I heard women speaking too, out of nowhere. A few times I thought I had imagined them but at one point they became so loud, at yet I still don't know what they were talking about. And one time I woke up and saw a tall man standing by my bed. That was the most terrifying of them all. Coupled with a few strange occurrences too. We tried repainting the walls but the paint wouldn't dry, not even after days, it just dripped away. The few doors that were changed were busted, some of the paintings I hung were taken off during the night. Strange things like that, which made the repairs impossible to complete."
Zoe nodded.
"Is there a history of hearing voices in your family?"
Cordelia shook her head.
"Not that I know of. It had never happened to me before, and has never happened to me again since."
"What about sleep paralysis? Waking up to see someone standing by your bed is a pretty normal sight when someone is a victim of sleep paralysis."
"I wasn't paralyzed," Cordelia replied quickly. "As soon as I saw him I ran to hide under the desk. When I looked back out, he was gone."
Zoe nodded. Then, she turned to Cordelia with a smile.
"Thank you for your time, I think that should be enough."
Zoe stood out and turned off her three video cameras and sound recorder. Cordelia stood out of her chair.
"You still want to go there? Even after what I just told you?"
Zoe took the cameras off their tripods and placed them in her bag.
"I'm even more interested to go there now. If there's a chance that I can finally record something tangible, I think it's gonna be in this house."
Cordelia set her and Zoe's chair around the table once again.
"You're a lot braver than me, then."
Zoe folded a tripod, placing it in a duffel bag.
"Or a lot stupider. That's what people tell me most of the time."
