I know itās late, butĀ Happy National Dog Day!Ā
Hereās a sketch dump of my dog, Roger, and a little bit of Sky, my uncleās dog. Roger is a Miniature Pinscher while Sky is a Lhasa Apso.
Azula in Robes
Iām sure we can all agree that she was totally crazy psycho, but that she was also crazy hot.
Captain America: KA-POW!
This Steve Rogers in his Age of Ultron costume. I think I made some mistakes in some areas of his outfit but hopefully I got it most of it right. The animation is loosley based on some frames from the video game Marvel VS Capcom for the PS1 (one of my all time favourite fighting games)
Part 2/6 - Adapting a Classic (Style)

One of the ideas behind this project was about bridging the gap between the old and the new.Ā I wanted to express the vibrance and colourful quality of a medieval (nearing renaissance) setting while using contemporary techniques, to appeal to a modern audience, with a nostalgic undertone.
Adding some browns to the palette also helped pushed it towards that slightly nostalgic direction.Ā I shifted the other colours slightly, like using mustard or yellow-orange instead of just yellow, vermillion instead of just orange, and throwing in some violets, allĀ to add that dash of quirky-ness to reflect the fun and witty tone of both the movie and the book.
Another idea is that this version would be aĀ series. This gives us time and opportunity to see and experience the characters' past, like in the book.
I was figuring out how light would interact with the characters while pushing the role of line. I did studies on how to make a line express form, colour, and light. From afar, the line can be reflected light, but up close the "line" expressing reflected light would spread in a stylized manner. This creates the feeling of an increase of detail when we look at something up close all while strengthening the colourful quality of the project throughout.
Li was a Philosophy student who became a figurehead of one faction of the Equalist movement in Republic City before 169 AG.
This is the initial concept portrait of Li Yang (temporary/working name)

Thereās no way no one snuck in some wine/had their own stash.

Henrik. Before the war.
Before the war (p2),Ā During the War,Ā After the War
I know Iām late, but despite being a long time fire emblem fan, I only got a switch recently š¬ so hereās an oc for three houses š Heās Hilda and Holstās brother.
Proficiency in Swords and Reason. Hidden talent in Authority. (Yes, I know mortal Savant is a crap class and that Hero is nerfed in this game, but Hero has always been one of my favourite classes in fire emblem and it just makes sense personality-wise for him to also be good with reason)
If Hilda doesnāt want to try bec of how awesome Holst is (heās so freaking cool) and she is avoiding expectations, Henrik decided to deal with their amazing brotherās reputation affecting them by creating different expectations for himself by pursuing different things. (Swords instead of axes, a diplomatic approach instead of being a general. Too bad a war breaks out). Henrik really believes in Claudeās vision because he wants the battles at Fodlanās locket to end so that Holst doesnāt have to fight all the time. He is close with his sister and is very good friends with Claude (and definitely wants him as a brother-in-law š)
