begging people to not forget liam was an abuser. yes, his death is very sad, because he could've gotten help and therapy and accountability for his actions. but he still abused his ex fiancé and made her life a living hell. yes, his death is very sad and devastating but that doesn't erase the mistakes and the pain he caused in life. two things can be true at once.

some of 1D's best songs exist because of liam payne, by the way. liam and louis were the dream team. they all wrote some good songs, but man. every time liam and louis joined up together, it ended up being a fucking banger. better than words. end of the day. fireproof. there are so many, so many strong songs that took 1D from being just a silly little "girl band" (which is what they always were and always will be to us, to me) to being something special, something that pierced through the industry whether people liked it or not. that was my band. they were my boys. i will miss liam for the rest of my life, and i'm not exaggerating that. not only because of who he was in the band, not only because of who he could have been once he held himself accountable enough to grow. i will miss his music, his talent. his voice. god. his voice. i'll just miss him. i miss him already.

The fact that a news outlet (TMZ) decided that their need to get a scoop justified posting partial pictures of a young man's body just to demonstrate that it was his tattoos is the grossest fucking thing and I hope every single person who signed off on it regrets it every day for the rest of their lives.

Liam was dehumanised to a commodity from the age of 16 and the fact that even in death he's being treated like this is disgusting. I'm so sad and I'm so mad and I hope his family sues (if that's what they want to do).

There is no reason to share 'news' like this. It isn't journalism, it isn't in the public's interest. It's grubby and foul and to not even put a warning of the article's contents in the headline is fucking cruel.

In memory of Aaron Carter who passed away today. Very tragic unexpected loss, he was recently promoting his new music. Here is my favorite song of his “All About You” I played on repeat as a kid.

This is the Aaron Carter I will always remember. I will celebrate and focus on his success and nothing else.

We're devastated by today's nightmare (which we really wish we could wake up from). All my friends (who have taken over this blog) and I hope all of you, our followers here, are okay and can take a step back to properly handle everything. Our hearts go out to Liam's family, friends, crew over the past decade and a half and, of course, his four brothers. Our hearts, as fans, are absolutely shattered. We're here if you need us. It has been one of the greatest pleasures of our lives to witness Liam growth and development and we're devastated about how the industry has taken yet another good soul and destroyed it beyond repair.
