- At first, he thought that you were jocking. And when you assured him that you weren't, he was confused. Why a kind person like you would have feelings for him ? You were young and beautiful, and he was.... Himself.

- He couldn't accept your feelings. He was too old for you. And old war dog as he call himself. You deserved better than him. And he had so much enemies... Being with you was like putting a target on your back.

- He tells you that it'll pass, that you deserved better and he tried to ignore you when you tried to tell him that you only want him..

- He couldn't stand the tears in your eyes, so he walked away.

- He didn't do that because he didn't like you. You were an amazing person. And if he said that he haven't thought of you this way, he'll lied. And he was ashamed of that.

- A few weeks passed. You looked miserable. He was so mad to be the person causing you all this trouble.

- As he was a little bit injured, you healed him in a bedroom at Wesley's house. He thanked you.

"You saved my life tonight." He thought a bit before continuing. " You know, I have a lot of enemies. But tonight I might see that you can protect yourself"

The information took a bit to process in your little head . But you finished by offering him a smile before vending over to kiss him.
