This body is totally imagined. As I sit here on the couch, with my eyes closed, I see images of the body, I feel sensations associated with it, and it all happens within my perception; there’s nothing external in it. I open my eyes, I look at my hands and feet, and these so-called parts of my so-called body are still images and sensations within my perception. I can separate them from the rest of my visual world and call them my body, but that separation is still an act of mind, and the images are always of a past, even if the past happened a nanosecond ago. They’re part of a movie of reality; they’re not reality itself. Why would I believe that a movie on the mind’s screen is real? Every time I try to focus on what is real about this body, it’s gone, and the “I” who focuses is gone too.
There’s nothing solid. Not only the dream but even the dreamer is forever gone. And the dreamed body—I sit it, I stand it, I walk it, I feed it, I brush its teeth, I dress it in clothes, I put it to bed at night and lift it from bed in the morning, and none of that is real. It’s all a projection of mind. To imagine that there is anything outside the mind is pure delusion.
Even physical pain is imagined. When you’re asleep, does your body hurt? When you’re hurting, and the phone rings, and it’s the call you’ve been longing for and you’re mentally focused on the conversation, there’s no pain. If your thinking changes, the pain changes.

i. what is manifestation?
MANIFESTATION.
a word that has been on the minds of humanity since the dawn or time. the meer utter of the word can either cause a twinkle to appear in your eye, or a massive eye roll. looking back, what do you think when the word “manifestation” comes to mind?
is it some made up, magical thing that only the most powerful people can accomplish doing? & it’s only because they “made it happen” via endless years of hard work?
something that comes to pass after you “raise your vibrations” thanks to the guidance of the rose quartzes in your room, pages filled to the brim of written words in your gratitude journal & your latest ingestion of moon water?
the result of something because despite the fact that you’ve accepted that “ “you're the god of your reality”? it lead you to affirm 100k affirmations within the next 72 hours, through your tears. & even though you only got breadcrumbs of what you actually wanted, it was all WORTH IT, DAMN IT.

whoever told you that was wrong.
they had no idea what they were talking about. & by misfortune you believed it.
now, lemme tell you what manifestation actually is:
manifestation is whatever reality you experience via whoever you assume you’re being.
that’s it. no, really! there’s no catch, or anything else deeper than that.
that’s how the world works! that’s how we work. it’s the thing that keeps this little, silly thing we call society running.

that time you got dumped by someone you thought was the love of your life & left you for that one person you were worried about? you assumed that you got cheated on.
that time you failed that test despite the fact that you studied every single day for the past month? you assumed that you’re a terrible student.
that time you always got complimented & later found out it was out of pity? you assumed that you were ugly.
you see a pattern here? it all came down to YOU. not your sp, not your questionable public education system, it was all YOU. you were the only person who accepted & internalized those things, despite what the world showed you. you didn’t make anything happen, you were just going through the (unfortunate) reality whatever state you accepted.
🎀 note: just want to make this very, very clear: if you were hurt or abused, it was not your fault. prior to this post, you didn’t know the law of assumption was even a THING, so no, you didn’t manifest that experience. that burden lies on whoever did that to you. please understand that.
now that you’ve come to this massive epiphany, don’t panic! you can still flip your life around, all you have to do is take what i say seriously & apply it.

ii. the truth about imagination.
unlike what you’ve been told for ages, imagination isn’t fake!
in order to experience the life that you want, you HAVE TO internalize this for the rest of your journey: imagination is the only, true reality. the contents you’re currently experiencing physically is just a result of whatever you’ve accepted as fact within it. it’s impossible to experience anything outside of that
EVERYTHING STARTS & ENDS IN IMAGINATION BECAUSE IT’S THE ONLY THING THAT EVER SHAPED THIS WORLD.
every single occurrence in your life is just you experiencing what you’ve accepted as fact in imagination. nothing more, nothing less.
also, imagination is not visualizing. imagining is the action of forming new ideas, concepts or images that aren’t present to the physical senses. this is why you have the ability to experience things that appear to be reality despite the fact that it’s not actually happening outside of you.
“but what about the 3d?” about that, the 4d & the 3d are one. one cannot exist without the other. they were never separate to begin with. how? because the reason you’re aware of your 3d in the first place is because you accepted it as real in imagination first.
you see how imagination is the blueprint for your whole experience? you’ve always lived in imagination and operated from it before you were even aware of what truly created your life.
“well jay, we can’t live in imagination forever i want my desire in the 3d NOW 🤬🤬!!”
hey remember when you finally got your desires, but all of a sudden they faded away or started “reverting” back to how things were, & you started spiraling? wondering how this could even happen despite the fact that “you did everything right?”. plot twist: it was because you never accepted your desire as a done fact. you were so dead set on changing what was outside of you, instead of what you needed to change within.
the 3d never will fulfill you. it’s not your life, or your reality. it’s just a dimension in which imagination is expressed. think of the 3d as clay, despite the fact that its material stays the same, it can morph into whatever you can imagine. your 3d will always follow your 4d, it’s the only thing it can do. as long as you keep seeing your 3d as something outside of you, you’re going to stay in a cycle of manic micromanagement of your thoughts & emotions. making self sabotage your ultimate downfall.
the 3d will change on its own the second you accept a new truth. even if you don’t see it with your physical eyes, it doesn't matter. when it comes to the 3d, your goal isn’t to change it or ignore it. it's in your face 24/7, ofc you can't ignore that. you’re supposed to not let it have the last word. you understand you do not deserve to live your life via what the outer world says about you. you have always had the FIRST & FINAL word, & deserve to experience that. the only thing that matters is what you’ve accepted as fact & walk in the conviction of it being done.
you need to come to peace with the fact that even though imagination is the only cause of reality, you can never change the 3d if you don’t change imagination first. your imagination is not a machine, you can't expect it to spit out whatever you want the second you think of it. if you know that your 3d is WITHIN your imagination, & imagination is the only thing that needs to change, why are you mad at the 3d for not changing if you haven’t changed ANYTHING about who YOU are in IMAGINATION??
brace yourself, this is going to sound extremely corny & cliche. many have reported vomiting rainbows after hearing this, but the inside is really what matters.
how many times have you heard of people who have a perfect life but they never feel satisfied with having it, despite literally having EVERYTHING the want?? IT’S BECAUSE THEY HAVEN’T ACCEPTED THAT WHAT THEY HAVE IS REALLY THEIRS TO BEGIN WITH.
changing the 3d was never, ever your goal. it starts changing automatically the second you assume a new state, making your new experience come your way, so don’t worry about it. even though you CAN manifest how you’ll receive your desire, that is not your responsibility.
if you truly want to change your life, please understand that this is your one, & ONLY goal: become aware of a desire being yours in imagination & accept it as your reality.
that is all you need to do. just assume that it is done, and confidently walk in that conviction.

iii. who are you, really?
you are pure consciousness, aka I AM. you’re never tied to a state, they’re just labels. hence why switching a state is the easiest thing in the world. remove any & all labels you have attached to you currently, & what’s the only thing left?
I AM.
🎀 note: self = i am, i have = pure consciousness can be used interchangeably. it’s the same thing, y’all.
you are the only operant power who has the ability to change what goes after I AM.
I AM is always in a present tense, it’s always a declaration of current awareness.
the only thing that needs to be changed if you want to experience what you desire is self.
for example, you want to manifest being with your sp. you can affirm on a daily basis for hours on end about how they’re yours, but if your I AM stays intact (I AM still manifesting my sp), the only thing you’re going to experience is being in a state of limbo with hot & cold behavior from your sp to accompany it.
as i established earlier, it’s impossible to experience anything outside of imagination. anything you do outside of your I AM is never going to make any change in imagination. you need to feel that you are who you want to be in order to successfully manifest.
“jay we don’t have to feel emotions to manifest. emotions don’t manifest.”
feeling / feel = the confident acceptance of knowing that your desire is a present fact.
you are allowed to be emotional, acknowledge that your 3d sucks, and just let yourself be deflated. i’m not saying that you should ignore that. however, you must bounce back to feeling the wish fulfilled. never let your 3d have the last word.
the only thing you need to do to change a state is to just change what goes after I AM & accept it. don’t reason with it, don’t reason into it, don’t look for proof 0.3 seconds after changing it. trust that it's already done and walk in that conviction.
for some of you, it’ll feel weird or uncomfortable at first, & you might be super hyper aware of it. but, as long as you keep persisting (dwelling) in that new state, it’ll just become natural.

iv. breaking down the law.
alright, now we’re getting into the GOOD shit.
what is the law of assumption? how can we work with it?
it’s a universal law in which, an assumption though false, if persisted in, will harden into fact.
so, let’s break this down:
an assumption = what you accept to be true about yourself.
“well, ACKTUALLY 🤓 ☝🏾, that doesn’t make any sense because according to the twitter thread i just read, it’s a thing IN GENERAL that you accept to be true without proof. it’s not necessary to make it about you.”
oh, okay. if that’s the case then how come you only received little to nothing of what you wanted for the past 4 years despite the fact that you were doing “everything right"?
yeah that’s what i thought.
now, we know by now that who we’re being in imagination is what shapes our reality. it’s all about SELF.
no matter how many times you affirm that you have big, doe eyes, an hourglass figure & a bmw is currently residing in your garage, if you don’t change self, nothing in your reality will change.
back to the sp example, let’s say, you have commitment issues (like the majority of humanity). you want to make sure your sp has eyes on you and you only. what do you think is the correct approach to solve this internal problem?
assume that you are in a secure relationship with a loyal partner.
assume that your sp only has eyes for you & will physically vomit if they look at another human being.
if you answered a., congratulations on actually paying attention to what i was saying.
if you answered b., congratulations on not losing your sanity with how many times you’ve committed this error.
notice how i said, “what do you think is the correct approach to solve this internal problem?”. you need to change self, not your sp. “jay, free will isn't a thing, right?”. yes, and no. whatever you assume about anyone, they only operate freely according to the role you gave to them in imagination. remember when you used to assume someone in your class was an asshole, & then they just happened to operate as one by dogging on you for no reason? you didn’t assume that they’ll do that specifically, but it happened because their behavior falls into the role you assigned to them.
people aren’t puppets. you can’t control how they’ll act 24/7 or what they should do 24/7. because a. that directs your attention to controlling the 3d which you’re not supposed to do, & not to mention, you’re just straight up treating them as your property lol. no matter how hard you try to make them do something in the 3d, it’s gonna drive you insane because you’re not changing self. thus, explaining the lack of change in your 3d.
i am dating my sp = ✔ sp is my partner = 🚫 i have a loyal, loving partner = ✔ sp is obsessed with me = 🚫
neverrrrr give your energy towards changing whatever is outside of you, always prioritize changing self!
though false = despite what the 3d is currently showing you.
this one is self-explanatory. it doesn’t matter what the 3d shows you, keep being persistent in the fact that you already have what you want. remember, what you feel to be true will triumph your physical senses.
if persisted in, will harden into fact = returning to of your desired state until you confidently feel your desire to be a fact.
contrary to popular belief, persisting isn’t affirming on loop. it’s continuing being aware of the fact that you already have what you want.
despite you feeling super sad, it doesn’t strip you of your identity. you just don't stop being you everytime you feel like shit. that's dumb, lol. whatever you’re doing in the 3d, unless you allow it, can never strip you of who you’ve accepted to be in imagination.
do you think rihanna is out here suppressing all of her negative emotions in fear that her entire legacy will crumble because she let a tear slip? no!
every state you keep being aware of (returning to) is what manifests.
if you’re going back to dwell in a state so much to the point where you can confidently accept it as fact, that’s the experience that’ll be expressed.
it doesn’t matter if you’re ignoring whatever you're currently accepting, affirming against it isn’t enough. self is the only thing that needs changing. not your neural pathways, or your "subconscious". you literally need to direct your awareness to what you want to feel. that's it!
the only job you need to fulfill is to keep persisting in your desire until you accept it as done.

v. final thoughts + reminders!
take this information & actually apply it if you wish to work with this law to its fullest potential. reading about it all day, every day isn’t going to help you change. even if you’re reading source, what’s the point if you’re not putting it into practice?
so, as this series continues, please take what i say seriously & practice it. i believe in you, so you should yourself a favor and believe in yourself.
💭 reminders!
imagination will always be the only casual power. everything you're experiencing is just a result of imagination and what you've accepted as done within it. there's no outersource aside from you! tap into your power and use it to the fullest!
time & circumstances do not matter! the second you shift your state, the 3d will instantly match it. everything can (& will!) change in an instant.
who you’re being in imagination now is the only thing that matters. your reality is only shaped by that, anyway.
never settle. practice brazen impudence. you already have what you want in imagination. never take no for an answer. you have the final word, not the 3d.
when in distress, turn to imagination. need confirmation? always turn within. want to experience your desire? always turn within. 3d got you stressed out? always turn within it. inner fulfillment above everything! do it because you can and because it makes you feel better. with this knowledge, why go back to feeling miserable when you don't have to?
always go to the end. be honest, do you really want to affirm for the next hour to get a text from some guy? clearly not. you want that wholesome, fairy-tale romance that'll make every k-drama cower in shame. you want the end result, not the in-between. next time you have a desire, jump to the end and claim it as done!
fall in love with your new state. have fun with your imagination. i mean, you are going back to it consistently, you might as well make it fun every time you return, right? do whatever you want in there, and accept it as done when you're satisfied!
your only job is to keep being aware of creation being finished. you're not creating your desired from the ground up, you're just becoming aware of the finished product. keep doing so until you can't deny it anymore and accept it as done. nothing more, nothing less.
your desire is a solid guarantee! as long as you accept it as done, there’s literally nothing that can get in your way to prevent it from happening!
prioritize yourself. even though manifestation sounds great, you can’t (consciously) revolve your whole life around it. do what you gotta do in the 3d, don't neglect it in hopes of something happening. have fun, relax, LIVE A LITTLE. your acceptance has you covered, your desire will unfold in the best way possible. but for now, be aware that your desire is a present fact & done.

now, before i start, what does movement mean? movement means a change or furthermore a development. let's say you want to manifest going from point A to point C. in terms of manifestation, movement could mean reaching point B here. movement often tells us our progress, our step-by-step achievements that we manifest while we are still on our way manifesting our final desire. however, "movement" like that does not exist.
you always express your current state of mind. whatever you now choose to believe in, will be shown to you. and it'll always continue to be like that. if you want to manifest getting a ferrari while not owning a car yet but end up manifesting a ford fiesta, that does not imply movement — it implies that you have been persisting in getting a car BUT a ferrari. maybe you thought it would be too risky? too much? too expensive? you limited yourself and your reality will show you that.
instead of conditioning your desires and denying yourself certain desires because of how impossible they seem to be manifested, why don't you just be a bit more courageous? the law cannot fail you. if you fully persist regardless of any circumstances and believe that you will get whatever you want or that you already have whatever you wish to have in your imagination, you have no choice but to get it. identify with the version of yourself who has what you currently lack in the 3D AND your 4D and embody their state of mind. you are always expressing yourself, all the time — so choose who you want to identify as!

The huge confusion lies on thinking you are in the body, when in reality the body is in you. Imagination is not somewhere in the body's brain, the body is in your imagination. Everything the body does, thinks, says, sees, it is in your imagination. Not in the body. Everything that is perceived is in you, not you in it.
There is no you in a 4D or 3D (mentioning it because I got a question asking about 3D). The 3D is in you, again, not "in you" as "in the body" in you as in awareness, understand?
I think that saying something is "within you" might be interpreted as "within the body" NO! Even the body is within you. Take some time to think of it, see you, not as the body but as the dreamer of the body, because THAT is what you are.
I saw an ask @adadisciple about derealization and thought I'd add my 2 cents here as I have experienced derealization in the past and might be able to offer a bit more insight. I didn't want to reblog that ask for personal reasons and also the response is really long. Disclaimer: I am not a therapist either, my thoughts are based on personal experience alone so take whatever feels right and leave the rest. Also I can't speak from the perspective of full realization as I am not there yet but hopefully this helps in some way.
When I first found non-dualism, I also had similar concerns as someone who had experienced derealization, I thought: was this another thing that was going to induce it?
Let's start with the definition (thank you Google) for those reading who may be unclear:
Depersonalization/derealization disorder involves a persistent or recurring feeling of being detached from one's body or mental processes, like an outside observer of one's life (depersonalization), and/or a feeling of being detached from one's surroundings (derealization).
From personal (human/ego) experience, this condition is purely of the mind and body with blocked awareness (? not sure if this is correct terminology, I am not talking about pure awareness in this case but more mindfulness*) and is often just a symptom of another mental or physical condition/illness such as depression/anxiety etc. The mind and/or body are just completely detached however, there is clouded awareness (due to the mind/body) and you just feel like you are existing and floating around. You are very much still a part of the world and identify as such even if you have lost faith in everything you feel as real. It's sort of hard to put into words but if you have experienced derealization too, then hopefully you can relate and understand what I am getting at. When I experienced it, I didn't know of any truth. I just lost faith in the world and didn't know what was real anymore. So, I was completely checked out.
*Mindfulness is paying full attention to what is going on in you and outside you, moment by moment, without judgment. (thanks Google)

The point of this all was to let go of concepts, let go of believing in things, investigating their validity, experimenting. Disbelieving you are Vanessa and denial are not the same thing. Denial is when you deny reality to something you're already giving reality to. Disbelieving was meant as an experiment, you never thought yourselves to be anything but this body, what will happen if you did?
**Actually, re-reading that ask made me realize maybe a reblog of an exercise I recommended is not the best since it instructs denial of what ego believes to be real instead of disbelief and experimentation (eep, Vanessa is still learning and evolving!). See my edit on this post :)

I don't teach to do anything to the 3D, not even deny it. Not seeing the world as it is, is an aversion to it. - Lester Levenson Your 3D is right and perfect, what you see is what you are so even if you're seeing what 'you' don't want, the 3D is not wrong in being what it is. Fearing it, trying to manipulate it, lying to yourself about it being something different - all useless and vain attempts. See it as it is and it will fix itself. And no, being delusional is not good, it leads you not to trust your own judgment OR senses. Which is not right, why shouldn't you? What is wrong with your vision? Being delusional from your ego self is really harmful, someone could be abusing you and you would go "i'm sure that's not right he loves me so much in my 4D!!!"
So lets clarify the distinction:
Derealization = denial of everything while still identifying as the ego although not wanting to => ego experiences confusion/chaos/mental condition/disorders
Self-realization = disbelief of current reality concepts => letting go of such concepts and quieting the mind => experiencing the true Self (the creator of the mind) => permanent identification with Self, not imaginary concepts (including the ego) => Knowing Reality, and therefore realizing full peace and freedom
Now let's move onto practicing non-dualism. The basis of the practice is let go of thoughts, quiet the mind and focus on being awareness/I AM. It is all about letting go, not denial.
From a non-dualist perspective, derealization is just another mental concept/creation. When the mind is completely silent (and sustained) and pure awareness is realized and embodied, when Self is your permanent identification, when you (Self) know you are not your body not Vanessa feeling dissassociated from mind & body or just intellectually knowing it from learning concepts (important distinction!), it is not derealization, in fact it is the only reality, the only truth.
I have experienced short moments of experiencing myself as the pure witness where the mind was completely quiet and those short moments felt so peaceful, whole and true. There were no feelings of derealization in that moment because there was no active mind then. Right now, I do think my ego feels a bit derealized at times but this is because I have not fully identified with Self yet and it is also because my sense and understanding of reality is in the process of being recalibrated on this journey. When this happens, I sit in silence and go back to the one truth 'I Am' and feel myself into it and everything else melts away. The more you do this, the more you will feel the truth and peace until it becomes permanent (when you realize Self).
But no one can give you the whole truth but yourself.
Lester: Yes. However, knowing what you're telling me helps one let go of that obstacle of intellectual knowledge. I prod you in this direction, don It I? I say: “Don't believe anything. Start from scratch. Build up your knowledge on the solid foundation of proof, step by step.” Everyone must do this. Q: You can't take someone else's experience? Lester: Right, you would be working on hearsay, on what they have said, and the only useful thing is that which you experience. I relate it to driving a car. If I say I know how to drive a car after reading a book that directs you to turn the key on, start the motor, shift into drive and step on the gas, do I know how to drive a car? No, not until I experience it can I drive a car. It's the same thing on the path; we must experience everything. We must, of course, adopt the attitude that what the Great Ones say is so, that they have experienced it. However, you must check it out and prove it for yourself. And the basic Truth is that there’s only one Reality; there's only one absolute Truth, and that is that this whole world or universe is nothing but God, but better than that, is nothing but my very own Self. God could be far away; He could be miles and miles away in cosmic space, but my very own Self is right here, is something I know about, is something I can perceive, it is my very own Self! So, using Self as God is far more practical than putting Him out there, putting Him apart from us. But each one must start from the bottom and prove this whole thing for himself. "And the basic Truth is that there’s only one Reality; there's only one absolute Truth" I literally didn't even read this excerpt before sharing it (searched the book for the keyword 'proof' because I was looking for another excerpt) but came to the conclusion after practicing and experiencing it for myself. And that is what you must do if you want the truth too. Experience and then decide for yourself.
This perceived and experienced knowledge is the only knowledge that does us any good. We can read everything on the subject, but it doesn’t help. Our life doesn’t change much, and it doesn’t because we don’t integrate the knowledge into our beingness through realization. Realized knowledge is nonintellectual, although the means we use are intellectual. We use our mind, we direct our mind toward the answer, but you will discover that the answer does not come from the mind. It comes from a place just behind the mind. It comes from the realm of knowingness, the realm of omniscience. By quieting the mind through stilling our thoughts, each and every one of us has access to this realm of knowingness. Then and there you realize, you make real. You know and you know that you know. - Lester Levenson, Session 6: Realization - Keys to Ultimate Freedom
If you want to understand more about the process of realizing Self, I recommend reading my 4dbarbie remix post. If you have already read it, reread it, maybe even read some of the referenced posts/asks and see if you get any new understanding. Or better yet, just sit in silence and stillness, quiet the mind and focus on 'I Am'.
I must emphasise that in non-duality, letting go of the ego is the basic foundation of practice as it is very much a journey of self-transformation (this is just another concept to help the ego understand, but you are always and have always been Self, you just do not see it as you are currently identified as the ego).
If you (the ego) are not willing to do that, then come back when you are ready. It is not up to anyone to convince you to adopt this practice and way of life.
When you rest in quietness and your image of yourself fades, and your image of the world fades, and your ideas of others fade, what’s left? A brightness, a radiant emptiness that is simply what you are.

“but then how do i experience things physically” you absolutely can btw. you just see a separation between whatever you physically see and whatever is in your imagination despite the fact that they both share the same awareness and awareness knows no prejudice. its not telling you that your physical world is any more real, you as the observer who is observing these forms of consciousness is telling yourself that. remove the separation and experience whatever the hell you want!
honestly, I don't have any doubt in existence of void nor in all these success stories of anon waking up in luxury mansion too
cause void is path for all the infinite realities and you become aware of them

stop trying to change the physical. it cannot be changed. there is nothing outside of you that needs to change. it's simply impossible to try to mold it to your liking — with or without effort. your reality will forever remain the same if your state remains the same. because how can you change a thing and still maintain it from within you ?
the 3D works as a mirror. the same way you cannot change if you only change yourself in the mirror, you cannot change your physical world if you don't change your mental world. you can't change anything or anyone, not even yourself if you only aim at the 3D. you can never force a change, manifest "through circumstances", urge things to happen or try to fix them.
talking about circumstances, you need to keep in mind that those are parts of the state you are currently experiencing. as you cannot change the state itself but only occupy a new one by leaving the old one, you cannot get rid of the so called "circumstances" which happen to be the very contents of that reality. they will forever exist for they are one of the infinite realities/states you can experience and are simply attached to that reality/state.
as i have mentioned before, the reason why you cannot change reality is the same as why you cannot create reality on your own. it's because creation is finished. it already exists. there is nothing left to do, nothing left to create. your desires exist the moment you desire them. that's when you become aware of their existence. and as your awareness creates reality — or in other words — as consciousness is the only reality, you can choose and select your desires and therefore your desired reality. remember, all states and thus all realities exist. anything you can think of is (quite literally) out there and obtainable for you.
but how do you "change" reality then? by choosing and selecting your desired reality, aka by shifting realities. see, you leave your reality aka your state of consciousness the way it is and decide to occupy the one you want, leading it to its materialisation.
by "changing" your state aka shifting it, you naturally "change" your reality aka shift to it. that's because consciousness creates reality. your 4D "creates" your 3D and your 3D shows you exactly that. a change in state equals a change in consciousness which then has to result in a change of reality. so, in conclusion, you can never change, but only shift.
