And it has come to my attention that JackCrutchie apparently gets a lot of hate? omg i was wondering why will didn't bring up that he could still feel vecna sooner or why we didn't at least get a shot of will looking panicked the moment they got back to hawkins like i thought the way they brought that up was way too random but if that scene in hopper’s cabin is actually from mike's pov then it makes so much more sense that we as the audience find out at the same time as he does 😭 and the way that scene is shot with will framed in the light because thats how mike sees him i feel ill

maybe this is gonna sound really stupid but imo, the reason nat and maya love ronance so much is at least partly because they are very good actresses. cause i've heard many actors say that when you're really getting into it it's like the character gets a will of their own, and right now they basically have to go against their characters' wills. because even if it wasn't the writers' intention, everything falls into place perfectly with them. they have accidentally made two characters that are perfect for each other, and in order for them to feel alive this has to be acted on. because when real people are that good for one another they start gravitating towards each other, right? i mean duh that's how people get in relationships. and of course actors want their characters to feel as alive as possible. and this is sounding borderline insane maybe but it's like the actual characters have a pull towards each other that nat and maya have to resist in favour of less genuine relationships because the script tells them to. like they have to play OOC basically.

it's ridiculous and a little offensive honestly to say that byler can't happen in season 5 because it's "too late" and "there's not enough time" when the sad reality is that a lot of shows who introduced queer characters/relationships had to wait until the last humanly possible minute to introduce them out of fear of general audience dropping the show midway and the show getting cancelled if they did the same thing earlier on. i can think of at least three big shows that did it right off the top of my head and i'm sure i'll find more if i were to look for it. so stop saying shit like that and giving me reasons to be in your walls

The Duffer brothers actually told me that Vecna sees how annoying Ted is and kills him and then brings all the dead characters back to life and then everyone dances over his grave (true story)

i am the biggest ted wheeler anti i hate that man so much. he doesnt get enough slander bc people think hes funny. im tired of it im going to become a ted wheeler hate page to create balance

it's fun to joke about will becoming a villain, but it's very confusing to me that there are people who genuinely believe that's a thing that might happen (and would even want it to!) since:

1) one of the two gay characters being a villain would be far worse than him being sad over unrequited feelings. not to mention how awful the part of the audience that already hates him for no reason would get once they feel validated in their contempt.

2) he deserves to have a moment where he stands up for himself (or someone else), and i would hate to see that villainised. it'd be such an important step for his character, and he deserves it to be framed as something positive!

3) if henry tried to manipulate will into joining his side by pointing out all the similarities they share, but will refused (highlighting how different they are when it actually matters) that would make for a much better story, a much stronger message, and would make much more sense for will's character.

4) unless he was being controlled again, will just wouldn't do that. he's loving and selfless and he'd never hurt his friends or family (or fight his sister) out of his own choice. which is not to say that he isn't allowed to feel hurt and hopefully even talk about how upset he is but.. not in some villainous monologue.

writing a fic or joking about it is one thing, but in reality making will a villain would be even more unfair to him than being sidelined. meanwhile having him play an important role in defeating vecna would be super interesting, and would actually make sense!

No cause this like I’m happy that I think Byler is actually gonna be canon but the Duffers r still shitty ppl because queerbait was just one from a long list of problems and removing just that still leaves us with a long list of problems

I know I see a lot of people who have changed their minds drastically about volume two; however, even though byler may possibly canon, the way they treated their poc was still unacceptable and I hate seeing people worship the duffers again for their details or their writing. Lucas, Erica, and Argyle, still are stereotypes and were put in uncomfortable situations for poc viewers to watch such as Lucas and the Jason scene or the Erica and basketball player scene. I’m not saying that the ship that we all want to become canon is a bad focus but I’m saying we can’t ignore issues of the show now that everyone is relieved that Mike and Will could get together
