Shapes of May starts tomorrow, so... GIVE ME YOUR SQUARES/P1S/CYANS!!

I'm planning on doing one large illustration for each week of Shapes of May, instead of multiple sketches a day. (I may possibly do some smaller illustrations on the weekends for Friends/Bosses)

I'll try to fit in all the squares that get submitted, but if there are a lot of replies I cannot guarantee that I'll be able to include them all. If you can, include a few details about their personality/backstory! It will make it easier for me to draw them Anyways, submissions will be open until Sunday, May 4th at 11:59 PM PST. Submit your design by relogging this post with a reference image! If you don't include their height, I will assume that they are an average sized person. If they are small, please specify in your submission! I'll probably make a post for collecting Friends/Bosses tomorrow!

Boos does not necessarily have one eye open and the other closed, this varies according to his emotional state (calm he has his eyes closed and open when threatened for example), and his body is left like a rag doll (detail, he is aggressive and without passion)

Livive can be a "punching bag" for Boos, He is the opposite of Boos in some ways like personality and powers (he builds and Boos destroys for example) and is usually very slow to notice almost anything

And Boos is electrically agitated in personality and Livive is more peaceful and calm

Howdy ladies, gentlemen and fellow eldritch horrors!

As you can probably tell if you've ever looked at a calendar, May is fast approaching, which also means Shapes of May is as well! This year I'm deciding to participate for the first time, but as with anything else I'm putting my own spin on it.

Instead of one week for each canon character or whatever, I'm instead gathering new test subjects victims patients - your OCs!

I'm just going to do one big drawing for the month, to celebrate both JSAB's birthday and BM's! Here's what I have planned.

Until May 1st, you can submit any JSAB OC of yours by reblogging this post with their ref sheet.

I will add as many characters as possible to the drawing. Unsurprisingly it's going to be themed around Dak's office!

The characters will be BM-ified to better suit my style and universe!

You can submit any JSAB OC you want, as long as it's not a canon JSAB characters (the bosses, player shapes, friends or other random canon guys)

So! That's the plan. I'm posting this now because I have finals coming up and am likely to forget otherwise lmao

So, it's been a week, i didn't post this sooner because I have an exam and i have to study for it, but here they are. There are some attacks missing, either because I couldn't make them work on ibispaint or I skipped them without realizing, if I skipped some just tell me and I will try to make them. idk for what would you want this but here you go.

Lycanthropy

Lycanthropy (or just Lycan) is the boss of aquatic areas, although he doesn't look like it (I'm going to make a design for it), he's also a lycanthrope (I can't explain exactly what it is, so do some research)

Lycanthropy (o simplemente Lycan) es el jefe de las zonas acuáticas, aunque no lo parezca (voy a hacer un design para eso), también es un licántropo (no sé explicar exactamente lo que es, así que investiga un poco)

He rules over the thropy (the ones without mouths) and often disturbs Boos when possible. You could say that lycanthropy are a plague because they can multiply easily, so some shapes don't mess with them to avoid problems

Gobierna los thropy (los que no tienen boca) y siempre que puede perturba a los Boos. Se podría decir que los lycanthropy son una plaga porque pueden multiplicarse fácilmente, por eso algunas formas no se meten con ellos para evitar problemas

Media Experimentation Assignment #1: Photorealistic Painting

I realize I said that I was going to post one piece of last semester's art over a month ago... Sorry! I got busy and then I kept putting it off for some reason. Anyways, I'm going to try to get back into it now!

This was the first assignment for my Media Experimentation class. That class focused on experimenting with different mediums and mixing them together (oil paints, acrylic, gouache, charcoal, waterproof ink, etc) and using different techniques. This first assignment was to make a photorealistic oil painting. The subject I used was the pen stand that came with my art tablet

I spent over two weeks working on this painting and I'm really happy with how it turned out! The photo of it ended up looking a little crunchy though since I had to compress it (the file was too big)

Guars are a species native to the Magentais regions (pink), their body is made up of liquid infection (36%) and other components like tissue, "organs", among others (64%)

Guars have various races that are somewhat different from each other, they have a strong skill that is represented by their initials in Latin

Guars tienen varias razas que son un tanto diferentes entre sí, ellos tienen una fuerte habilidad que se representa por sus iniciales en latín

The "P" comes from the word "Percussor" which is someone who kills with blows or physical violence (also murderer).
