Any and all fiction that is listed as intersex is all stereotypes and obvious fetish material for perisex people - There is almost no representation.

Whenever you hear about people like you they're referred to as having a sex disorder, never being intersex

People who support the entire framework of your excising and mutilation go in your comments to concern troll about how they don't actually support that

Having almost no research done into our oppression — so there is a lack of statistics about systemic intersex assault/rape/murder — people use this to tell you it isn't happening (despite nearly every intersex person you've met has reported being victimized in some way)

Strangers online think they are entitled to your full medical history

A significant number of people online think you are a porn trope and are shocked to find out tou exist in real life

Your gender identity is erased and ignored because it doesn't make sense to perisex people

Being considered "rare" (because we are actively being suppressed with violence) — people use that "rarity" to say you don't matter

People thinking its acceptable to sexually harass you and ask you about your genitals just because they find out you're intersex

Getting told that you're exaggerating when you say your group has been the victim of a successful extermination campaign — & that is why we are so invisible

Everyone ignores all of this ^ and tells you that someone else has it worse than you so you should shut up if you ever decide to speak up.

my favorite poet is definitely emily dickinson! she wrote a lot of good poetry about her feminism, and poetry about other topics aswell :) id definitely recommend checking her out!

Terfs are not inherently rapists, but by sacrificing trans women to use the men's bathroom for the very little comfort that transphobes will get by knowing they forced women out of a literal bathroom. This, especially to post-op trans women, puts them at an extremely high risk of assault, rape, or murder. Encouraging the rape of trans women isn't much better than rape itself, but I would not (and didn't) call them rapists.

And terfs are misogynistic, as when they try to get the definition of 'Woman' to be based on sex, that's misogynistic, reducing women to only their genitals. This is discrimination of intersex people as well. Terfs, as well as most transphobes, have proven themselves to be misogynistic without doing what was said on the previous statement, by 'transvestigating' women in the olympics for being too 'masculine' (usually because of muscles). The fact that they do this shows they have an idea of what women should and shouldn't look like, thus misogyny.

you’ve probably already found out about Andrea Dworkin by osmosis by now. I would also heed caution given your age and the topics she covers. You should always put your comfort above exposing yourself to information that may be harmful.

not necessarily feminist lit but the dance of anger by Harriet Lerner is a useful book on women’s anger and how to approach relationships (of all sorts). I found it useful both in a feminist context and in my personal life though.
