ES|| Los tiburones están gravemente amenazados (incluso hay muchas especies en peligro de extinción) esto es debido sobretodo a su pesca indiscriminada para vender sus aletas. Y, aunque parezca mentira Europa contribuye enormemente y es una zona caliente de comercio de aleta de tiburón. Desde 2003 el finning está prohibido en Europa, y desde 2013 se permite pescar algunas especies de tiburones pero sin descartar el cuerpo. Sin embargo, la legislación europea sigue permitiendo el comercio de aletas a granel de especies no protegidas. Cuando se transportan solo las aletas la identificación de la especie es muy difícil, especialmente porque los envíos suelen mezclar diferentes tipos de ellas, lo que da lugar a que se comercie fácilmente con aletas de especies protegidas y de ejemplares capturados de forma ilegal. Los tiburones están en la cúspide de la cadena trófica y juegan un papel fundamental en el equilibrio marino, regulando y equilibrando la vida que hay en ellos y ayudando a preservar sus ecosistemas. Evitar la catástrofe medioambiental que supondría la desaparición de los tiburones pasa por poner freno a este lucrativo negocio. Para ello es necesario que Europa deje de exportar aletas de tiburón y no facilite el comercio a través de su territorio. Solo quedan 4 días para que finalice el termino para firmar la iniciativa ciudadana europea para proponer un cambio legislativo que prohíba el comercio de la aleta de tiburón. 🦈 Corred, animaros a firmar! EN|| Sharks are seriously threatened (there are even many species in danger of extinction) this is mainly due to their indiscriminate fishing to sell their fins. Tree house. I've always liked to think about the whole life around and within the trees. It's a beautiful spring day and a woodpecker comes out the house and talks to Mrs. Frog who is quite outraged ... the baby birds make a lot of noise!!! What will the bees think? Casa árbol. Siempre he pensado en toda la vida que hay alrededor y dentro de los árboles. Es un precioso día de primavera y un pájaro carpintero sale con las legañas de casa y habla con la señora rana, la cual está bastante indignada ... Los polluelos hacen mucho ruido!! Que pensarán las abejas al respecto? Casa arbre. Sempre he pensat en tota la vida que hi ha al voltant i dins dels arbres. És un preciós dia de primavera i un pica-soques surt amb les lleganyes de casa i parla amb la senyora granota, la qual està força indignada... Els pollets fan molt soroll!! Que en deuen pensar les abelles?

ES|| Me da la sensación que el verano se ha acabado en un abrir y cerrar de ojos. Un día iba con camiseta de tirantes y al otro con un jersey! Aunque aún hay días, o mejor dicho momentos, que aun hace un calor aplastante, el frío se esta abriendo camino súper rápidamente. Parece que el otoño y la primavera vayan difuminándose y solo sepamos en que época del año estamos por las lluvias y los días acortándose. Por una parte me da pena que se acaben los días de tomar el sol (o como me gusta decir a mi “hacer la fotosíntesis”), los colores brillantes de la naturaleza, los días increíblemente largos, las fresas, la sandia, el melón y todos las maravillosas frutas de verano y los pantalones cortos, pero, por otro lado, ya viene el tiempo de dormir con el nórdico, cosa que me encanta! Y para despedir los días largos de sol y el calor un trocito de una ilustración antigua con aires muy veraniegos!🍉 EN|| I get the feeling that summer has gone by in the blink of an eye. One day I was wearing a tank top and the other a sweater! Although there’re days, or rather moments, when it’s still overwhelmingly hot, the cold is making its way super quickly. It seems autumn and spring are fading away and we only know what time of year we are due to the rains and the days getting shorter. On one hand, I’m sorry that the days of sunbathing (or as I like to say “to photosynthesize”), the bright colors of nature, the incredibly long days, strawberries, watermelons, melons and all the wonderful summer fruits and shorts are over, but on the other hand, it's getting so much closer the time to sleep with the duvet, which I absolutely love! And to say goodbye to long sunny days, a piece of an old illustration with a very summery atmosphere!🍉

ES || Estos días con el frío que hace y con lo pronto que anochece solo me apetece leer o ver series o películas, comiendo chocolate y bebiendo una infusión calentita, tapada con una manta! Quizás, si pudiera, haría como los osos y me pondría a hibernar debajo del nórdico hasta que llegaran los días llenos de Sol y vida de la primavera…

EN || These days, with the cold weather and with the sun going down so early, I just want to read, watch series or movies, eat chocolate and drink warm tea, covered with a cozy blanket! If I could I'd do like bears and hibernate under the duvet until those days full of Sun and life of spring

ES || Este año ha sido bastante raro, un año de altos y bajos. A diferencia de otros años, pocas ilustraciones con muchos detalles y personajes, de hecho muchas piezas grandes y pequeñas se quedan en el tintero en diferentes partes del proceso, con un poco de suerte antes de que finalice el año podré acabar alguna. En cambio ha sido un año de retratos de animales, de experimentación con acuarelas, panpastels, lápices de colores, gouache y otras técnicas tradicionales, pero también con illustrator y procreate. A pesar de todo, una cosa continua siendo igual, mucha naturaleza por todos lados!🌿 EN || This year has been quite rare, a year of ups and downs. Unlike other years, I’ve done few illustrations with many details and characters, in fact many large and small pieces still remain in different parts of the process, hopefully before the end of the year I will be able to finish some of them. Instead it has been a year of animal portraits, experimentation with watercolors, panpastels, colored pencils, gouache and other traditional techniques, but also with illustrator and procreate. In spite of everything, one thing remains the same, a lot of nature everywhere!🌿

CLIMATE CHANGE IS REAL (2019)

ESP || Hace un tiempo la ilustradora @emmaillustrate creo la Interesante campaña “ kidlit4climate” para solidarizarse con "climate strike", un movimiento muy necesario para luchar contra las políticas que no tienen en cuenta el medio ambiente. Yo me quise unir aportando mi granito de arena con un universo que tiene claro que el cambio climático es real y pide ayuda para parar la contaminación que generamos de mil maneras diferentes y que está matando el planeta y muchas de las especies que lo habitan. 🌙🌎☀️ ENG || Some time ago the illustrator @emmaillustrate created the absolutely awesome campaign #kidlit4climate to show solidarity with the much needed #climatestrike movement. I wanted to contribute with a universe who has it clear: climate change is real and we need to stop the pollution that we generate in a thousand different ways and that is killing the planet and many of the species that inhabit it. ☀️🌎🌙
