hi hello friends! does anyone around these parts have some solid knowledge of tarot and a willingness to let me pick your brain? i have a character who has a very specific plot point involving tarot and i know next to nothing, possibly less than nothing, and would love to figure out how to sound like that's not the case.

They're friendship was EVERYTHING. The way he loved Xaden but let it be very clear that his loyalty was to Violet, just...Ah. Love it. They're a great example of a pure, platonic relationship.

Can we also please stop with trashing on tropes? If you don't like it, don't read it. I've seen so many posts across various social media talking about all of the tropes people don't like, including even in regards to the language used (especially in Romance/Fantasy) and it's frustrating - if you don't like it, don't read it. that one scene in devil wears prada where Andy says that she would have never betrayed anyone like Miranda betrayed Nigel at the end in order to save herself and her position on top in the fashion industry and Miranda Priestly is quiet for a beat before she whispers in that lilt whispy voice ”you already did”…..that was a better written psychologically dynamic scene between two characters than most modern hero/villain scenes you see today in cinema
