Wall of Shame for gif+fanworks thieves and their supporters who steal my stuff and can't even give me a very simple apology. I'm not asking for much y'all! When it's not dealing with reposters, a general blog about gifs and other relevant PSAs. Have fun reading them all, hopefully you'll learn something significant about how to interact with strangers you don't know online. Genuinely, I hope they help, but I won't entertain reposters, trolls, or any of their supporters. By the way, if you've reposted my stuff or tried to argue with me in favor of stealing and reposting other's hard work without giving proper credit and asking for Permissions, delete it!!! Any reblog here noting fanworks thieves or supporters stays up until relevant posts or conversations are fully, one hundred percent deleted. It's super easy!!! "ANYONE CAN DO IT!!!"

Jewish people who type the word “god” as “g-d”: Do you think you can fool the big man upstairs with a technical work around? When he goes through your emails/texts/facebook posts after you die, you don’t think he’s gonna see that dash and think “this sneaky fuck here, enjoy h-ll.”
Something I think a lot of xians don’t get is that while Judaism and Tanakh are absolutely essential to xianity and it making any kind of sense, Judaism in no way needs anything xianity has to offer, nor is modern rabbinic Judaism dependent on the existence of xianity. We exist entirely outside of and independent of xianity and Judaism (both as it was before the fall of the Second Temple as well as modern rabbinic Judaism) would have continued just fine without xianity. If xianity somehow disappears from the earth entirely, Judaism will still be here and will still make sense.
On the other hand, if Judaism and all of its texts were to disappear, xianity is no longer intelligible. And that is what I mean when I say that xianity is parasitic on Judaism. This is not a mutual or symbiotic relationship, no matter how hard xians seem to want to think it is.
The strange thing about growing up in conservative Christianity and then leaving it behind is that there are a lot of secular/progressive spaces that engage in similar thinking while sincerely believing their ideas are counter to conservative ones. So I thought I would just make a list of things I was taught within conservative Christianity, the stuff that was either the core of our beliefs, or the social dynamics that we created. Some of the language I use is specifically either scriptural, or Christian-speak.
This list isn’t to say “stop thinking this way.” This is actually intended to simply be informative because sometimes social justice spaces assume, “we are crafting our ideals in opposition to conservative ideals therefore whatever we think surely must be the opposite of whatever they think,” without ever seeming to know that their language and ideals look and sound the same.
So, let’s begin:
Sin-leveling: x is bad, and y is bad, and all bad things deserve an equal reaction
Sin-leveling part 2: because all things are equally bad, there’s nothing wrong with inverting the consequences. Hurting others becomes acceptable (because it’s no different than doing something distasteful), doing something distasteful is unforgivable (because it’s no different than doing something harmful)
Avoid all appearance of evil: if I assume that your behavior looks wrong, then you are wrong, even if further context would say otherwise. You should avoid doing anything that others would see as wrong because you are not allowed the benefit of the doubt or to defend yourself.
Sin by association: x company contracted with y company. Y company engages in something sinful, which means x company approves of said sinful thing which means if you purchase from x company, you are condoning, supporting, and have actually committed the sin.
Think only on what is good: or as the pastor of my old church liked to call it, “garbage in, garbage out.” Whatever ideas, thoughts, words, arguments, stories, pictures, books, movies, songs, friends, love you put in your head will create the desire to become that. If you want to be good, you must avoid any bad thought because you will “slip” into wanting it and then be unable to stop yourself from being it. (For example, type into google “is secular music” and click on the autocomplete of “a sin”)
Language as an in-group test: if you do not describe your life, experiences, and beliefs with the exact same vocabulary and in-group speak, you are either not really one of us, or you’re someone who hasn’t thought through their ideas as deeply as I have.
By any means necessary: Also known in the ex-Evangelical world as “lying for Jesus.” If my words create the necessary beliefs and actions in others, then it doesn’t matter if I am exaggerating, saying half-truths, or using manipulative language, because I’m saving others and helping them do what’s right.
Touch not God’s anointed: any critiques of those our community trusts, critiques of those we’ve deemed “the good ones,” are actually people trying to sow discord and disunity to destroy our community and their voice should be silenced because they must be lying.
Judge not lest ye be judged: A scripture that we throw at people when someone says our leadership is abusive, a scripture we cry is being taken out of context when we want to harshly critique someone ourselves.
There’s more, lots more, but this post is already fairly long. Once again, though, this isn’t intended to be combative. I just want people to know the actual social dynamics that a lot of us grew up with in conservative Christianity communities, so they know when sometimes they’re sharing those social dynamics, not countering them.
This is the "no reposting" rules and Interaction banner on the post this gif came from. If looking at the post directly, my rules on asking to reuse + repost have been posted there for years. This user has NOT contacted me directly to ask my Permission to repost, likely found via Tumblr search, and didn't check usernames under the gif once it was on the blog. My rules have been in effect on my blog on every gif post I've ever made since before 2020 and even caps and fanworks I made from 2017~2020, including in Daikari's tag directly:
People always ask why do you ship Daikari over Takari? Isn't Takari more obvious? Takari is very obvious in the show to the point where it surprised me that it wasn't canon - Takeru cares a lot about her and it's highlighted even more in the dub. So what makes me ship Daikari over it? This moment right here - Hikari is shown to be a very kind character, she always has been. Yet Takeru's literally had breakdowns and rage attacks over BlackWargreymon and while Hikari looks worried, she doesn't do anything for him - she doesn't ask if he's ok, she doesn't console him and he's just as expressive as Daisuke is if not more because he's enraged/angry. Yet Daisuke gets sad/discouraged and she passionately speaks up when his best friend, partner and her own partner are right there. Anyone could have reassured him and spoken up but they didn't. So, yes Takari may feel more obvious but to me, Hikari's responses to Daisuke are what win me over because yes, she cares about Takeru a lot but something about the way she cares for Daisuke makes me ship them.
When fandom shits on female character, and than they claim that they are just pointing out misogynistic writing and they want better for her. No, if you truly liked her you would not say humilating things about her, insult her, bash her based on qualities she does not have, dismiss her trauma, try to prove that person she loves the most (whom, of course, you ship with your fave) does not love her. Yes, the way she was treated in canon was bad, but fandom is 1000x worse
god this tweet……
Say it with me:
In this house, we do not hate on canonical female love interests for the sake of our headcanon gay ships.
Male Character: *fucks up 100 times* Fans: “No one is perfect. He’s flawed so there is room for development!”
Female Character: *is not the epitome of perfection* Fans: “Sorry. I just hate this character.”
[misogynistic person who is biased against women and favors men in all circumstances] wow it's so crazy that in literally every show and book and movie ever made all the male characters are likable and sympathetic but all the female characters are shallow and irrational... obviously this is the fault of the writing and nothing to do with me
The way gifmakers don’t want any money just want someone to reblog their work
"Ok, ma'am that'll be $226.03."
I take my wallet out of my pocket and unfold it. It is empty other than a single moth that lazily flies out. The moth lands on the tap point of the card reader. There's a beat, and my payment is processed. The moth flies back into my wallet and I put it back in my pocket.

hello! i would like to announce that i’m trying to make my own spin on a digimon story! i’ll release character sheets one by one and some scripts from time to time. i’m going to make it as if it were going to be a real show, though i can’t animate so really it’ll just be some drawings and scripts. i would really appreciate the digimon community’s support. if anyone has any questions or ideas, please comment them! i love you all 🤍🩶🖤💻
Apparently it's time to start posting and reblogging How to Tumblr stuff again. Lots of people are hopping from Twitter to Bluesky. A big thing to emphasize is that "repost" is the term bsky uses for "retweet", and we need to educate on the difference between "repost" and "reblog" here on Tumblr. We have so many things saying "don't repost things!" and that might cause confusion now that bsky has entered the game. I'd hate to see people avoiding Tumblr because they got yelled at for something they didn't do, because lingo is different.
I'll start: on Tumblr, "reblog" is sharing the original post on your blog for your followers to see. "Repost" is creating a new post with something you saved or downloaded or screenshoted from someone else's blog, and that's highly discouraged here. Please reblog to share the original so the creator can get the interactions too.
Posts about self-positivity are not the place to vent your self-negativity. If you see a post saying something like “Wow, I feel really good about myself today! I hope you have a good day”, it’s very inappropriate to reply with something like “I wish I could, but I’m miserable and nobody has ever liked me”.
It’s fine to make posts venting your emotions (as long as they’re tagged appropriately!), but adding that to someone else’s post - especially if it’s about them feeling good - not only brings the mood down for everyone involved, but also violates important social boundaries
If you wouldn’t say it to a stranger who wished you a good day in public, you shouldn’t say it to a stranger who wished you a good day online. This goes for all types of positivity posts.
