Under the Grind
In anticipation of N7 Day tomorrow, I wanted to share this minimal fanart title card I created last year. After the teaser trailer that confirmed it would continue the story post-Shepard, I was thinking about possible storylines, about rebuilding in the aftermath of ME3… and the tagline “Reclaim the Past” kinda stuck in my head. Which is where this sorta overgrown stone title text came from—the need to rebuild, but also the idea of nature reclaiming broken worlds.
(I was feeling nostalgic for the old font on “EFFECT” so I used that instead of the newer, more squared-off version.)

Can’t wait to see what they do with the next entry in the series! (And I have a new title card I created for this year that I’ll be sharing tomorrow!)

Another small peek at the first chapter. Plus a new abstract design.
This.
I uploaded this on my ArtStation a while back, but for some reason forgot to put it up here. Simply called, “Icosahedron,” this digital piece pretty much sums up my favorite design aesthetic. Monochrome with a pop of color. (And, of course, injected with some abstract sci-fi feel for good measure.)
A first look at the soundtrack element of this project! So excited to have Josh McCausland’s massive talent creating the moody sounds of this dark sci-fi universe!
This song is entitled “Sensory Deprivation” and will feature on the Color of a Mirror original soundtrack, as part of my multi-disciplinary novel/soundtrack/design experience.
(Motion graphics and design by me.)
If you like what you see and hear, there’s only 10 days left in the Kickstarter! Check out the link below, and thanks for looking!

Hello Again. (Yesterday's was the last of the "out-of-chronology" entries. Now we're back to newer stuff.)
