I kinda like to think that, when Wade's Jean and Scott meet Logan for the first time, Scott is the one to be understanding and not compare him to their Logan at all.

Scott has always treated Logan differently than everyone else has treated him. He teases him, he makes jokes, they bicker like an old married couple and okay- in the movies they argue cause of Jean- but they still kind of do that playfully too?

Plus, Worse Wolverine ain't flirting with Jean. This Logan is only flirting with Wade. So there isn't any competition. Also, pretty sure this Logan dated Scott after Jean died- I mean- "Scott used to beg me to wear it"? The fact he says Scott before Jean? And let's be honest, Logan was kind of the only person who cared to ask Scott how he was and check in on him when she died. He was the only one asking where he was after Jean killed him.

And I think Scott has moved on from that childish "but she's mine!" arguments.

We can all agree that the Legends are mostly ND right? Here's some of my personal headcanons of Legends that may be autistic. Under a read more because I have many thoughts.

Bangalore - Her special interests are weaponry and warfare, which lends to why she's so interested in relaying information on the weapons she pings. She is a much less verbal person than some of her peers, and has a fairly flat affect. I believe she has alexithymia, which may have contributed to her relationship fallout with Loba.

Bloodhound - They relate to animals better than people, like their ravens, and take a special interest in hunting. Being in nature is regulating to them. I feel like they'd be avoidant of strong tastes, and would prefer deep pressure from those they trust. They're not terribly verbal, but will stim by making bird calls. They also stim by petting Artur and their other bird. (I named her Faida lol)

Catalyst - With a considerably flatter aspect than some, she is much more verbal than the prior two Legends. That doesn't stop her from being awkward in conversation. She carries a few worry stones in her pocket to stim with. She also shuffles her tarot deck to stim. She has a strong sense of justice, and devotes her time to causes that she deems worthy.

Crypto - Much like Hound and Bangalore, he is less verbal than many of the other Legends. He prefers to be alone, is a night owl, and tends to be understimulated rather than overstimulated. Because of this, he seeks out strong flavors, loud music, and fabrics that may be stiffer or scratchier. His favorite stims would be the sound of a keyboard clicking and rocking his desk chair back and forth.

Loba - Loba is a bit of an outlier on the list, as she's AuDHD rather than strictly autistic. She stims by playing with parts of Rev that she's collected after dismantling him, finding regulation in revenge. She's easily distractable, but needs the routine in order to not completely meltdown. She is not great at reading social cues, has a hard time making friends, and is often cited as being narcissistic and overly sensitive, diagnoses often given to women where autism is overlooked. Edit: thank you @the-mechanica for reminding me that Loba stims with her hair and fan too.

Vantage - Vantage loves infodumping about everything and anything, especially about bats or other animals. She doesn't get people, she's pushy, and she's entirely inquisitive. She would love stimming by rocking back and forth on her heels, and by petting Echo. Unlike Hound, who also shares an interest in animals and hunting, Vantage seeks people out, trying to make friends with everyone she can. She is very verbal and has a great memory.

Goth Lit fandom: Now that we're in a place culturally where we can portray gay relationships without going to prison for two years, and now that popular media has started to tackle bi and gay characters being toxic in relationships, surely we can make Dorian Gray's subtext into text. We can adapt it as a book about a man loving another man so much that he captures his likeness and his soul. We can show Dorian use his beauty and appeal to manipulate men like he did in the book. We can tell this as a tragic story of an artist falling for a man who is much more toxic than he seems.

It's not just erasure of queer characters. It's disrespect of Wilde's memory in the worst way. Oscar Wilde went to JAIL for being gay and his book was used as evidence against him. This was his only novel and they censored it to make it less queer even back then.

i cant really fully describe how disrespectful the netflix adaptation for the picture of dorian gray is, as i am not the secretly repressed homosexual man who wrote the novel and said all the characters represented him, nor am i a gay man who lived in the 1800’s, but i am queer and i do adore oscar wilde and i have studied his life.

not only is the book one of the first popular and honest representations of homosexuality, but the book is written by a man who said the book represented him. oscar wilde was a homosexual man. and after being arrested for indecency (doing gay things in simple words) wilde lost all his reputation and was pretty much exiled in british society (even beyond) - majority of his plays were phased out of the public and his name was silenced. oscar describes the picture of dorian gray’s three main characters as parts of him. Basil: his trueself, romantic, full of emotion, artistic and finds beauty extremely valuable. Henry: his public persona, the way the public perceive him and finally, Dorian: the man he wants to be - youthful and beautiful. Changing the main emotional plot in this novel, that happens to be romantic and queer, is not only disrespectful to the way Oscar wanted to represent himself, but also disrespectful towards the fact that Oscar himself was convicted for homosexuality and had a passage from the novel, where Basil confesses to Dorian, read in court as evidence against him.

I don't think there are NEARLY enough fanfics exploring Hunter's relationship with the ex-emperor involved people(Lilith, Raine, Eberwolf ECT). Like there's a good amount focused on him and Darius but the others tend to slide under the radar

I think it's such an interesting dynamic to examine. Because for people like Raine(and Darius) they definitely had to know about the abuse. They ignored it for the greater good and I think that could be FASCINATING to dissect

So you know that running joke on the Argo II about how Percy eats so much and from everyone else's POV it's seen as quirky or unusual? It's quite possible that his open enthusiasm about food is weird to the others because he's actually the only one who's normal/healthy abt food.

Think about it. Leo's been through food insecurity and he may have issues with it because of the way his body looks. He's also a workaholic and generally probably doesn't really have a very good sense of when or what he needs to eat to feel better. Annabeth might be similar, not being able to sense her hunger cues very well because of Trauma (TM) and the way she gets sucked into her hyperfixations.

Piper and Frank might both be conscious about their weight, Piper because of bullying and her Hollywood environment and Frank because he's always been so big naturally and his grandmother probably verbally abused the hell out of him for his weight.

I think Jason skips meals as a form of self-punishment if he doesn't feel like he's earned it. He also wants to make sure everyone else on his team has had what they want to eat before he gets to have any.

Hazel straight up lived in the depression, so food was probably rationed. She was also a girl in the 40s and body shaming was on a whole other level of ridiculous back then so I can't blame her for feeling like she needs to restrict for a few reasons.

And then there's Percy, whose mother did the best she could to make sure her son had a healthy relationship with eating and food. She didn't always have money, but she showed her love through food and treats as much as she could and together they created their blue food tradition. This means that Percy now is excited about food and can probably better measure his hunger cues than anyone else on that ship. This is a good thing not only for him, but if he shows confidence in the way he eats what he likes until he's satisfied and stops when he's full, it might give his friends social cues that they're allowed to eat like he does.

Percy, of course, would be happy to know he's helping them...but right now, he's too excited about those pancakes.

apollo cabin headcanons

children of apollo

• apollo claims his children with a radiant golden aura with "we will rock you" playing triumphantly in the background.

• they are all born with a golden ring around the iris of their eye.

• many, if not all of them are born around sunrise and die around sunset.

• whenever there's a day that the sun isn't shining, it means a child of apollo has died and the sun god is mourning them.

• sometimes, someone will sing a random note, and then everyone around them will harmonize with them.

• the infirmary is always so HECTIC. like they all have insanely good accuracy so they’re just constantly throwing medical supplies at each other.

• they’re experts at hiding earbuds under their clothes so that teachers don’t see them.

• they’re all really sensitive to sounds. every tune that is off-key is the equivalent of a fork scrapping against a plate.

• their adhd is worse than most demigods because they can’t stand silence. long testing periods where you have to be silent are absolute torture for them.

• they all have some form of synesthesia.

• it’s harder for them to get sick compared to other demigods but when they do, it’s a mess. they take a lot longer to recover from the sickness.

• they’re always awake at the crack ass of dawn. not because they’re the children of apollo, but because apollo plays loud rock music every morning at a frequency that only his kids can hear.

• they all have perfect pitch (they can tell what a note is just by hearing it).

• not all of them are good healers but there are certain times when it is mandatory for all children of apollo to be working in the infirmary.
