“If I could give someone else my worries, I wouldn’t even hesitate.”
“They’re kind of like a puppy. They just follow me everywhere.”
“You make it feel like time has stopped and it’s just the two of us.”
“No one comes even close to making me feel anything. Don’t even try.”
“I always get the short end of the stick. Why do I keep going along with your plans?”
“I can’t believe you got me to admit all of that.”
1. “I thought you said you loved me?” 2. “I wish I’d never met you.” 3. “I thought you were better than that.” 4. “I’m so sorry, there was nothing else I could do.” 5. “I didn’t mean to, it was an accident I swear!” 6. “Sorry won’t fix this.” 7. “I should have seen this coming.” 8. “What? You think I care?” 9. “I just miss him/her so much.” 10. “Please don’t leave me, not again.” 11. “My biggest regret was loving you.” 12. “Get out. Now.” 13. “I never want to see you again.” 14. “How could you do this?” 15. “You’re fucking crazy.” 16. “My heart can’t do this.” 17. “Wow, you had to go there didn’t you?” 18. “I have never hated someone as much as I hate you right now.” 19. “You broke me.” 20. “I wish I could say I hate you.” 21. “I need you to stay.” 22. “(S)He’s gone.” 23. “I am done.” 24. “Why did you love me?” 25. “I’m not okay.” 26. “You have no idea who I am.” 27. “I need you more than anything else.” 28. “I can’t take this anymore.” 29. “I’m not going to sit and watch you destroy yourself.” 30. “Did you ever love me?”
“Calm your mind, still your hands, and silence your mouth. You’re spiraling, and I refuse to be run down by your snowballing again. Let me be your sun, babe, let me melt the ice.”
This doesn’t mean anything She tells herself Over and over It’s static Meaningless words She knows it’s a lie It means everything Everything she does means something Even turning on the light The light The light The light Four times Eight times Twenty-four times And closing the door The door The door The door Again and again It all means something It didn’t feel right the first So she’ll do it again On Off On Off Her phone is going to get messed up On Off She doesn’t care On It didn’t feel right Off Turn this off Make it stop Stop Stop Stop
“Did I ever get a chance to say I’m proud of you?”
“Do you even want me around? ‘Cause you certainly don’t act like it.”
“Us misfits have to stick together or we’d have no one.”
“I shouldn’t be allowed to do anything when I’m this tired.”
“Look, you’re super clumsy and having you around this highly flammable project is like asking for trouble.”
“Bribing me with your cooking works every single time.”
“I would’ve unzipped the galaxy, unlocked the stars, and stolen the sun if it meant getting to feel her lips on mine one more time.”
It is so strange to think of last year. This time last year I was crying on my bedroom floor This time last year I didn’t know what to do This time last year I didn’t think I’d be okay And this year I am here I am not completely okay I am not sure where I am going or what I am doing But I know This time next year I will still be here.

“There’s something seriously wrong here. I mean, who the fuck wears high heels on a heist.”
“Nobody asked for your opinion, [X]. Don’t hate me just cause your weak ass ankles won’t let you be fancy.”
how to be a true YEARNER (jk yearn how u want)
⇴ person a watching person b trail further and further off, and person a is frozen in place. person b—though walking away—seems closer than ever through person a's gaze
⇴ being completely hyper-focused on a book, yet every page, every beautiful metaphor reminds person a of person b
⇴ you two are both lying next to each other and you feel asleep. the person next to you has to try their hardest to resist the urge to reach out and touch you. just one stroke of the cheek is all the desire—the chance to have their hands brush across your soft skin.
⇴ "i just can't do it man" "do what?" "i can't just sit in front of them and act like everything's normal. i want more, but i know that it would be wrong to have it. but i need them. i feel crazy—am i crazy?"
⇴ person a keeps thinking about person b, even though they've only met once. once their eyes meet person b's, everything slows. nothing else matters except for the smile on their face. something clicked.
⇴ "have i ever told you that you were the one thing that just made sense?" "no, but go on." and the other person malfunctions because... well where do they start. how do they go about this w/o rambling, or letting their true feelings out?
⇴ the constant need to reach out. the constant need to grab their hand, rub their arm, and put your head on their shoulder.
⇴ wanting to know everything about them—little or big: their daily schedule, what shampoo they use, whether they are feeling the same as you. any crumb of information would be satisfactory
⇴ anxiously bouncing your knee in hopes that you can see them and have a conversation. finding any excuse to come up and talk. you just want to see them and have your eyes fall on their silhouette.
⇴ they laugh at something you said, and the melodious sound of their chuckle carries around the room, gracing your ears. now, you start planning another joke, hoping to hear that warm sound again.
⇴ "i don't think i can hide it anymore. how it's like my heart is on the verge of a heart attack when you text me. how i've delved into all your favorite movies, books, and tv shows ever since you've told me about them. how i wanted to be close to you—not just physically."
⇴ "i kept doing all these things just to see if you would do them with me. i really wanted you to be there with me."
⇴ the way that everything is fine and under control until they take one look at your lips.
⇴ "you're doing that thing by the way. when you lie to make someone feel better? you bite the inside of your bottom lip and nod, then you make this really pitying look with your eyes. like a squinty thing." "...wow"
