oh,  to  be  a  star  on  big  screens  …  everything  comes  naturally  after  a  while  :  the  beaming  smile,  the  perfectly  straight  posture,  not  blinking  despite  the  blinding  flashes  of  cameras.  not  to  mention  the  perks  that  come  with  being  a  celebrity!  ❝  ken,  you  won’t  believe  this!  ❞  her  smile  was  radiating  the  entire  room  –  perhaps,  that’s  why  she  was  cast  in  so  many  productions  –  as  she  approached  @earringmagick.  ❝  can  you  guess  what  i’ve  got?  ❞  a  plastic  surgery,  like  the  media  kept  pushing  her?  nope.  a  secret  piercing?  no,  that’s  not  it  either.  from  the  wa  she  was  smiling  to  the  way  she  was  swaying  left  and  right,  with  both  arms  behind  her  back,  it  seemed  like  there  was  something  else.  still,  mystery’s  an  asset  she’ve  learnt  &  mastered  while  working  in  hollywood.  barbie  couldn’t  just  give  everything  on  a  silver  platter,  it’d  ruin  the  effect  altogether.  ❝  come  on,  guess  it!  ❞

KEN CARSON : this is unlogical and does not make any sense!

dolled  gaze  flickers  back  and  forth  between  ken  and  the  smartphone  device  in  her  hands.  while  it  was  true  there  were  more  question  marks  arising  than  definitive  answer,  this  device  seemed  pretty  cool.  hence  why  barbie  had  to  show  @setkenoff.    "  i  get  it,  but  look!  "    she  exclaims,  slender  digits  clicking  on  the  screen  until  she  finally  ended  up  where  she  intended.    "  here!  you  can  see  yourself  in  this!  it's  like  a  mirror.  that  mirrors  you!  "    she's  now  shoving  the  smartphone  near  his  face.  the  app  she  was  trying  to  show  him  was  a  mere  camera,  which  all  smartphones  were  equipped  with.

alas,  barbie  had  no  prior  knowledge  to  such  matters,  but  she  found  this  aspect  too  intriguing  not  to  share  the  news  with  someone  else.  there  were  many  things  that  made  no  sense  out  there  in  the  real  world  —  but  luckily,  some  of  them  she  could  enjoy  nonetheless.  barbie  shifts  her  frame  close  to  ken,  making  a  peace  sign  with  her  free  hand.    "  smile!  "    she  cheered,  ready  to  press  the  button  to  take  a  picture.  who'd  knew  taking  pictures  became  so  easy?  not  this  barbie  for  sure!

and…  snap!  she  took  a  picture  just  by  pressing  a  button.  how  fascinating  is  that?!  she  searches  for  the  funny  button  entitled  gallery  and,  eventually,  shows  him  the  final  product.    "  see!  look  at  us!  we're  in  here  now!  "    index  pointed  at  the  screen.

everyday  used  to  be  the  same  in  barbieland  until  it  wasn’t  –  a  rupture  of  some  sorts  occurred  about  a  year  ago,  when  stereotypical  barbie  had  to  go  to  the  real  world  and    solve  the  issue.  and  apparently,  it  was  this  barbie’s  turn.  she  waved  farewell  to  every  barbie,  ken  and  midge,  skipper  &  allan  too.  it  was  comforting  to  know  someone  was  waiting  for  her  return  before    she  even  left,  but  it  was  something  that  had  to  be  done.  urgent,  nonetheless.  no  more  barbies  should  bare  witness  to  these  horrific  conditions.  as  it  turns  out,  the  scenarios  get  worse  each  time!  barbie  found  out  the  hard  way  that  her  morning  milk  was  spoilt  and  that  water  is,  in  fact,  wet  (  also  that  showers  seem  to  work?? ).

and  off  she  went  into  the  real  world,  to  fix  this  catastrophe.  but  this  world  seems  duller  than  barbie  mentioned.  ceruleans  wander  in  horror  at  the  sights  of  …  she  squints  at  a  bill  barbieboard,  reading  G  -  O  -  T  -  H  -  A  -  M    .    E  -  L  -  E  -  C  -  T  -  I  -  O  -  N  -  S.  interesting  name,  she  thought,  wondering  who  gotham  was.  as  she  walked  down  a  busy  street,  barbie  tried  to  stop  individuals  to  ask  them  about  mattel  headquarters,  but  everyone  seemed  to  ignore  her.  weird,  definitely  weird.

🙶  excuse  me  sir  -  sir!  sir?  🙷  another  failed  attempt  and  melancholy  started  to  set  in.  this  was  harder  than  stereotypical  barbie’s  encounter  with  the  real  world.  🙶  sir,  excuse  me,  🙷  she  tried  once  more,  this  time  lightly  patting  @chaoticjoke's  shoulder,  unlike  the  previous  attempts  which  were  exclusively  verbal.  🙶  hi!  can  you  tell  me  where  to  find  mattel?  🙷  a  bright  smile  flashed,  she  couldn’t  let  down  courtesy,  even  if  time  was  important  and  ruth  knows  what  would  happen  if  she  took  too  long  to  fix  the  rupture  in  barbieland.

[ TEA ]: sender prepares a mug of hot tea for the receiver.

[ BLANKET ]: having found the receiver either sleeping or just lying on the couch, sender gently takes a blanket and drapes it over them.

[ BATH ]: sender runs a hot bath for the receiver after a particularly challenging day.

[ DINNER ]: having learned that the receiver has had a difficult time lately, sender arrives at their door with their favorite dinner and drinks.
