Hey do y'all remember several years ago when we were all freaking out about net neutrality being overturned? Well despite net neutrality's win in 2024, a federal court just overturned it.

For those who aren't aware, net neutrality is the simple principle that companies like Verizon and Comcast should treat all web traffic equally – not pick and choose based on who is willing to pay more or who they like best. Big Tech companies obviously don’t like that – which is why they spent millions lobbying against it over the years.

Now, these megacorporations will be able to seize control back over our Internet. The likely result? Throttled access to streaming services, monopolistic pricing that cuts out competition, and a slower, walled off, and less free Internet for all of us.

And unfortunately, rulings like this will only get more common now that the Supreme Court has overturned the “Chevron deference” – giving judges, rather than qualified public servants, a blank check to toss out protections like net neutrality, environmental safeguards, or food safety standards.

When Trump’s FCC repealed net neutrality back in 2017, they gave big corporations total control over our Internet – putting free and open access at risk.

Internet providers responded by exploiting their newfound power to speed up certain websites, and slow down – or even block – others. They failed to provide crucial Internet infrastructure in rural areas, low-income communities, and communities of color. They even slashed firefighters’ Internet access during severe wildfires.

But over 126,000 people spoke out and we were able to reinstate net neutrality – until now.

The time has come again to take action: please sign this petition from Common Cause so we can reinstate net neutrality.

Hm, curious... why was it Agatha's voice at the end? It said something about " all 5 of them being here." And something about a ritual being prepared... interesting, if a bit unnerving.

Not to mention, it seemed like they were indeed hunting those specific people down, considering how she talked about how it took a long while to find them... what are they planning? Guess we'll have to wait and find out.

Tried to draw Jae from Macabre Christmas, I still need some practice drawing hands, it's supposed to be a shooshing gesture, but I tried my best.

Need some practice in general, not my best drawing but trying new things.

A simple drawing I made of a confused Technoblade, he used to make this sound when he was confused/lost, sometimes when startled.

I have never drawn a pig before, so this was from memory.

Poor Daniel, but this was understandable, his books caused so many problems, talk about haunting the narrative.

The last one.

He has lost a lot of people, hasn't he? It feels like fate cursed him to be exactly that, the last one, he's the only remaining member of team H, the last one of the Scoundrels... he carries the memories of a lot of people with him.

I admire his strength honestly, to withstand all of that and still keep going is admirable, when he talked down on himself on some episodes, what I saw instead of weakness was his resilience, that he kept trying, moments like when he tried to use the hammer or play guitar one armed, he really is persistent and compassionate, that's what makes me like this character.

At least he still has people supporting him, as Ivete said " You find a reason to keep living and cling to it, just one is more than enough. "

Huh, Jax started acting oddly after this, he did act like his usual self at the beginning of the episode, but this drained him, he definitely doesn't seem to like being trapped, he seemed more eager for the adventure to be over, started acting more... normal, in a sense, still annoyed but more normal, like he just wanted to get out of there as soon as possible.

Wonder why it was specifically being trapped in a dark room that seemed to make this happen.

It was the first time I think that he seemed genuinely afraid/uncomfortable.

Even Pomni noticed the difference in his demeanor in that conversation they had, finding it odd.

Man, this is just... sickening, No respect for the dead it seems.

It definitely made me sick to my stomach, and when he said that he killed Jasmim, Dante's girlfriend... what I felt was " it can't get any worse, can it?"

Well... yes it could.

" Gaspar, when she was found with stab marks, who do you think did that? You shouldn't have left us... if you were strong enough, you wouldn't have saved only her, but the little being inside of her as well, your son."

... Yes, he knew she was pregnant, he knew well what he did, it made me filled with anger because I thought of all of the moments that could have been, how he changed Dante's life in a single day, with one decision, he basically set this in motion there.

This is why I'd say Gal Sal is anything but impulsive, he can be cruel, but someone cruel that knows very well what he does, why he does it, this awareness is what makes it disturbing.

Indeed, that's another level of cruelty.

Betrayed by the one you trusted so much, as you'd say," injustice, right?", your life really is a definition of that phrase.

I guess " Faith is blind" would also fit, he should have been more careful with who he gave his trust to, to be so devoted to someone you'd be willing to do anything for them can be a dangerous thing.

" You open your eyes and your vision went dark."

Yeah, it must have been terrifying to wake up blind, though I did find interesting how he thought about this whole event after.

" Just like Icarus who flew too close to the sun, I think this is my punishment for trying to help everyone."

I don't remember if that was the exact phrase he used, but... seeing it as a punishment or reminder is an interesting thought process.

I don't think that's what they meant by " give a hand", Gal, but good that you have some humor at least, pretty handy indeed.

What? Will it cost you an arm and a leg to smile? Come on now.

Offscreen person: " excuse me, Mr. Devil, may we take a picture of you for the Wi..."

Heh, who knew the devil could be so charismatic, huh? Also funny that he was scrolling through social media in the first panel, but yeah, apparently the devil can be pleasant sometimes.

Also, that's a symbol for " heart" that he's doing, right? Fits the blood element.

Aw, that's actually adorable, he doesn't want his hair cut, makes sense, he must have taken care of it well.

Huh, this scenery is honestly beautiful, a city landscape at night.

This episode really showed how Gangle is used to holding in her emotions, a facade of happiness, but that facade eventually cracks, when someone seems far too cheerful it can be a sign something is deeply wrong indeed.

Good episode, really.

I do like his laugh, this part was with Mr. Masque,I remember that.

I also remember when Mr. Crawling basically played peekaboo after we climbed the stairs, beginning of chapter 2 if I recall correctly, those moments show he's somewhat silly at times.

Andei pensando e... e se o Kian tivesse escolhido o Gal como receptáculo? Seria possível, o Gal tinha se tornado um marcado e não era mais útil em um certo ponto... me pergunto se ele faria isso na verdade, se ele tivesse pensado nisso em vez de trair o Gal acho que muita coisa teria mudado.

É algo interessante de se pensar, mas também acho que teria sido muito mais difícil derrotá-lo, pense: alguém poderoso como o Kian em um corpo de alguém já bem forte paranormalmente como o Gal, seria definitivamente um pesadelo, o Gal já é resistente como uma barata, adicione a força e o conhecimento sobre o paranormal do Kian e... é, isso é algo que nunca deveria acontecer.

( Digo resistente porque realmente, o paranormal fortalece muito ele, em muitas situações ele teria morrido se não fosse por isso.)

Me pergunto se o Gal aceitaria, afinal, o que mostra mais devoção do que entregar seu corpo e alma para alguém? Talvez ele visse como uma honra ser o hospedeiro, talvez ficasse apreensivo, um " e se" interessante na verdade.

Well, someone's getting their fingers bitten, he did warn not to bother him when he's asleep, come on now.

Guess you could say the main character should have thought a-head before doing that, heh.

He didn't bite just one finger, he bit three, so his bites are quite vicious, he really wasn't kidding about that, It's a reflex he can't exactly control.

He did feel bad about it afterwards though.

Wow, he is quite tall, his head almost hits the ceiling, normally he... well, crawls, so it's not that noticeable just how tall he actually is.

Man, imagine how terrifying it would be to see him this furious enough to actually stand, it must be uncomfortable for him too so he rarely does this, I imagine Mr Stitch thinking " oh, I messed up..." or something like that.

I guess he learned quite the lesson in this chase scene.

The game is Homicipher for those who want to know, I'd say it's a fun game in all honesty.

Agatha: " that's what happens when you mess with the paranormal, now I have a wound that never heals."

Oh, I think this is about that " blade of fear" injury she got at the end of Calamity, right? Ouch, sucks when you have to deal with constant pain like that, the next line was Mia saying that Agatha " knew some messed up folk before joining the order.", likely referring to when she met a few occultists that ended up... just not being good people, interesting lines.

The goodest boy, game ran without any major hiccups so far, maybe a bit slow but nothing too bad.

Heh, that is one of my favorite traits of the blood element, the sharp teeth, I don't know why, I just find it charming.

What I really liked about this scene was that Gal-Sal yelled, it is rare for him to do so, the emotion was portrayed really well in that scene, just outrage at being betrayed, though I hope Gal-Sal's voice actor had some soundproofing otherwise his neighbors may have really thought someone was murdered that day, if I recall, this happened while Clarissa was torturing him, that scene was gruesome, the emotion fit it well.

Those are words I generally try to live by, to appreciate those you care about is important, after all, life is short.

Words of wisdom, definitely, I don't think he'll be this lucid again in future episodes, which makes these words even more... sweet in a sense, appreciating good moments with those you care about is important.

We all become memories one day after all.

Hairdresser: " And what happened to her?"

Gal: " She died, of course, with her own son's sword no less, but it was her time to go."

Wow, well... at least he was honest, but that was cold.

" After all, we have the same eyes. "

Huh, that's very true, Mia does look a lot like Mr. Verity, the same eye color and hair color, that same determination, she is indeed a lot like her dad.

Also, the fact that he carried a picture of younger Mia with him is adorable, though the fact that he uses her birthday as his password for most things is... well, quite the security risk, I had almost the same reaction as Samuel once I learned that detail.
