Gal with short hair, that.... just looks weird I'll be honest, I'm so used to him having long hair that seeing him short haired does not feel right.
I wonder how it would look even shorter than that, I don't think he should cut it though, his long hair suits him.
I don't know why, but he looks familiar like this, as if ... his face resembles someone else, he did have a sister, right? Curious.
Oh, heh, these tiny mishaps happened often, guess you could say Dante lives rent-free in Gal-Sal's head, he just can't seem to get him out of his mind.
There were a lot of tiny bugs like this through the series, sometimes characters would glitch and either be huge or too tiny, or just wouldn't load sometimes, technical problems.
" Kian knows?"
This more doubtful tone does represent well his emotional state in Calamity, he was trying to stay strong, after all, if a leader loses morale the entire team does too, but there was some doubt showing in how he acted.
I think a good example of this was when he was trying to inspire the others after a loss, he was smiling while in front of them, trying to reassure them, yet when he wasn't giving a speech anymore, his facial expression changed, it just... fell a bit flat, showing doubt/worry , really shows the pressure in leading a team.
Even some of his teammates noticed this difference, though he didn't really want to talk about it.
" This moment does not need narration."
Man, this is just... sickening, No respect for the dead it seems.
It definitely made me sick to my stomach, and when he said that he killed Jasmim, Dante's girlfriend... what I felt was " it can't get any worse, can it?"
Well... yes it could.
" Gaspar, when she was found with stab marks, who do you think did that? You shouldn't have left us... if you were strong enough, you wouldn't have saved only her, but the little being inside of her as well, your son."
... Yes, he knew she was pregnant, he knew well what he did, it made me filled with anger because I thought of all of the moments that could have been, how he changed Dante's life in a single day, with one decision, he basically set this in motion there.
This is why I'd say Gal Sal is anything but impulsive, he can be cruel, but someone cruel that knows very well what he does, why he does it, this awareness is what makes it disturbing.
Indeed, that's another level of cruelty.
Betrayed by the one you trusted so much, as you'd say," injustice, right?", your life really is a definition of that phrase.
I guess " Faith is blind" would also fit, he should have been more careful with who he gave his trust to, to be so devoted to someone you'd be willing to do anything for them can be a dangerous thing.
I don't think that's what they meant by " give a hand", Gal, but good that you have some humor at least, pretty handy indeed.
What? Will it cost you an arm and a leg to smile? Come on now.
What I really liked about this scene was that Gal-Sal yelled, it is rare for him to do so, the emotion was portrayed really well in that scene, just outrage at being betrayed, though I hope Gal-Sal's voice actor had some soundproofing otherwise his neighbors may have really thought someone was murdered that day, if I recall, this happened while Clarissa was torturing him, that scene was gruesome, the emotion fit it well.
Meanwhile during break...
Hairdresser: " And what happened to her?"
Gal: " She died, of course, with her own son's sword no less, but it was her time to go."
Wow, well... at least he was honest, but that was cold.
Gal making this forced smile... definitely reminds me of something else, I admit, seeing that made me flinch at first.
Memories... it also reminds me of how he smiled during his battle, I don't think I want to see a smile like that again.
Gal: " Are you done? May I have it back now? "
Dagan: ( apologizing profusely.)
Gal: " it's alright, Dagan, I'm not mad, just... warn me beforehand, deal?"
Dagan : " Deal, Gal."
For context, in this, basically Dagan thought Gal was sleeping and borrowed his blindfold to take pictures, Gal wasn't actually sleeping.
Huh, now that I think about it, I haven't actually seen Gal without his blindfold before, but this does seem accurate to how he'd look like, his eyes are probably white, just like the other escriptas.
Still, cute that Dagan wanted to look like someone he admired.
Huh, not so different after all, this was what I meant by Dante looking similar to Gal with the blindfold he started wearing after he went blind, I guess my instinct of " wait a sec, that reminds me of something. " was right.
This art does illustrate this similarity well, they do have some things in common, both harbor a hatred towards Kian, both were manipulated by him, indeed... not so different after all.
Gal: Can't trust anyone in this house anymore. ):
Heh, well, with what happened so far, accurate.
To be honest, I'd think the same way as T-Bag did about Kian if I were on his team, if he can just throw his closest ally away just like that, betraying him, is never there often for his team... what reason would I have to trust him? What guarantees that he wouldn't just use me as well? Or that his plan would work for that matter, I'd definitely have some doubts.
Clearly he only cares for his own goals, so Indeed, Kian sucks.
Heh,I found this image funny, Clarissa pointing at Gal-Sal angrily and him just pointing at himself feigning innocence with his typical smile, seems like a normal argument between them.
Also Kian and Host, and Henri too.
Tried to draw Gal-Sal, this villain... for some reason his grin both disturbs me and makes me want to hit him in the face, it also reminds me of how cruel he can be, blood spilling down onto his face... just a grin I detest.
When Dante cut his hair short, I did feel a little unnerved because it reminded me of Nathaniel, that occultist who was locked up, when he also wore a blindfold... that reminded me of Gal-Sal, I did think " please don't grin like him, you already resemble him enough as is right now..." that particular stile was one I didn't like for those reasons, I know that Dante is not like Gal-Sal, but that resemblance made me feel a little uneasy.
I know his tattoos are absent in this drawing, I could do better, but for that I need to practice more.
