Ninjago Ao3 summary I'm throwing out here just in case I ever do on my promise and turn it into a fic

After a Villain known as the Enigma—who's been stealing hundreds of powerful relics—goes after a ring that has the ability to alter fate and energy itself, the Ninja rush to stop them before the past, present, and future are changed catastrophically.

But when the ring needs the power of an elemental master of creation, Kai is separated from the group in a clumsy mistake and gets his powers stolen again. Oops. Before the ninja can retaliate, The Enigma succeeds in activating the ring and thrusts the entirety of ninjago 10 years into the past.

However, the ninja, being in the initial blast radius, retain their memories. Now a decade younger and their powers locked, they scramble to find The Enigma before they find the golden weapons and truly reshape ninjago. Watch as they struggle to bond with people they've known for years, realize begrudgingly that a 14 year old body can't do high-octane acrobatics, rage as The Enigma seems to always be one step ahead, and inevitably deal with Kai. A Kai who, much to everyone's collective horror and amusement, has no memory of the next–or past–ten years.
