terfs are always like "men can have long hair and wear dresses and women can have short hair and wear suits!! stop erasing gnc people!!!" as if there are not hundreds upon hundreds of trans people who want to transition for the explicit purpose of being a man with long hair who wears dresses or a woman with short hair who wears suits. "trans people reinforce gender stereotypes!!" literally not anymore than cis people do? there are cis people who are gender conforming and cis people who are not. there are trans people who are gender conforming and trans people who are not. it's just that cis media only focuses on gender conforming trans people and terfs do not question this bc it suits their needs

love transmasc/trans man lesbians so much and Iβm so glad Iβm part of a community that is full of them and super accepting but Iβm afraid sometimes itβs so widespread in my friend groups and related circles that people start calling me butch and like, Iβm not. just like before, itβs still the case that not every transmasc, even if they IDed we one before, feels comfortable with the lesbian label or identity. but itβs been multiple times now where people have referred to me as βbutchβ to my face. and Iβm simply not one. never was. iβm so fag. hell you can call me a twink. but butch is not my gender, itβs not my way of expressing womanhood (bc im not one), and itβs not my way of expressing my masculinity either. being inclusive is so so awesome but can we CONTINUE TO TRY TO REFRAIN from referring to people as SPECIFIC IDENTITIES without ASKING THEM?
