Was talking with @alsi-alice and they wanted me to buy a little barbie pool for my Soundwave figure. And then this happened

Must be kinda mortifying to meet yourself from other universes and hear all that (at least ES and IDW prove there is still some hope not all is lost) 😭

I’m forming a sort of team….. basically just a buncha bots who’ve had spacecraft alt modes but I kinda redesign them again.. I haven’t gotten to some of them yet like Cosmos but Soundwave was a satellite so he gets included (technically he’s a triple changer, having also a jet/flight mode), and Jetfire a space shuttle/spaceplane! I may or may not have been inspired by some uniforms for their designs (Space Force uniforms & lab coats/a little bit of space suit— Cosmos might end up the most space suit inspired). I’ve also been considering how Soundwave’s system with his cassettes would be; the best solution I’ve got tbh is they’d be called Capsules instead 🤔
Many bonus doodles too cuz. Yeahhhh… I’ll probably go more into depth about their designs some time 😛 Cosmos is also cheating I know he has a size shifting ability, I read about it 😒
(Also no the thing in Soundwave’s chest is not a matrix it’s just from his ROTF robot mode design; but I do have ideas for it. Something something enigma something IDW)
Sometimes this how I imagine starwavewave in tf one. Starscream fighting for his life to get out of being involved with these guys (everyone in the prima stop shipping it, esp you alpha trion) but they keep dragging him back into their shared berth or to share lunch. He cant escape those allegations?! It turns into fine fine fine. We ARE something, but listen Soundwave you're my second and Shockwave you're my third so that makes me n1 kinda logic later after they leave Cybertron 🐡
His trine calls bs, but Starscream says you're just upset I have two hot wives at my side !? 🙂↔️

All 3 of them would avoid all interactions and allegations but we agreed later at some point these guys cant deny its something. The waves are first and the most calm of the situation, but Starscream is too prideful and loud to admit anything or openly discuss it with them 🙂↕️ The three of them are honestly kind of similar its just the way they go about things, silly shit. At some point they probably blink and they dk how it happens but it does.
We also agreed they're like this is not just working as a unit, maybe this has benefits after enough shared naps or quiet work time are shared. 😭 It's just making THAT guy who accepts it LAST that really causes the squabbling and messes.
So that's why Starscream is fighting for his life to not be involved and called "our third" It's not like that guys (so what if we kissed ONCE- okay fine a few times...but that was the near death delirium making me do all that)

Hello, it is me again, back for more as I work through all of your older arts for this AU, this one might be shorter than most posts. I finished cranking out some kind of analysis paper for uni and wanted to do something more fun with my brain 2333
I get a little obsessive with how much Jazz smiles here, I find his entire body language so fluid and full of trust for/to OP. His playful wink and smile as well, very cute and panda like of him. He's just really cute and carefree, if OP wants something, OP gets (in my head at least).
So much care in how the visor was removed from his face too, some kind of gentle swoop in and grab motion from OP's hands with how it comes clean off and it's really cute to see how OP looks wearing it. He reminds me of those really adventurous cats that love to take part in the things their owners do because it makes them feel a mutual connection (like makeup, showers, eating) a lot; their own way of bonding. I know by now my theory of Jazz knowing about the garment touching was correct (I was already following this AU when it came out), but tbh I always did wonder if he picked up on OP having cried around this time or guessed why and then this moment followed after (if im wrong, im wrong!)) Whatever led to this moment and the expression Jazz had seeing OP in his garment, I find their relationship as friends very endearing and sweet

I laughed more than I should have when Starscream gets kicked. 😭
I was on my train earlier before logging onto my tumblr and thinking about ES Starscream engaging in a mini war with the cassettes; they dared to paint bomb him and his seekers. Then it escalated to sticker bombing his helmet, wings, and other parts they got their servos on while he re-charged or had his back turned while working on some (about to blow up) experiment.
Def NOT TC's idea to make the stickers pink and glittery or have strange words/phrases them printed out that translate to say flirty words only known from Vos, Starscream looked like a piece of decorated fruit/walking build board with all of it. No one's allowed to laugh or translate, but everyone from Vos (and under Starsceam's command) is losing it (then had to do another 100 air laps without rest) 🙂↔️ (she did it because he took her collection of yaoi once and locked it away behind a safe...but it was bc it was a distraction girlie!)
Anyway seeing him get kicked made me laugh, he prob has gotten kicked like that more than once for his antics or his mini wars with everyone on the Nemesis for one thing or another in any universe/continuity he wrestles life from. TC has had to sit through enough boring lectures and blah blah for example (her words not mine, she heard it so much, Starscream will get cut off and she recites what he's about to say word for word; freaks him out sometimes but Soundwave is proud)
I had this idea where Soundwave’s cassettes/symbiotes could combine into another mech, so I did that; and I like to think it’s partly thanks to already having an established bond between them all; I also think they’d also be able to transform into a Griffin for their alt mode, I also haven’t figured their height yet either 🤔 but I’m very happy on how they look! I haven’t yet gone thru their individual designs but I did end up fancying the name Alibi for their combiner form. Maybe they could be a double agent (non colored version below)
Starscream really has to learn not to poke at their goat 🙄 I’m sure he has better things to do than be like that smh

In case anyone forgot, Sentinel was Zeta's apprentice! I made a little tweak to Sentinel pre-Primacy design. Thought it'd make more sense that he just had normal jet wings.
I adore adore the concept of characters who share/are asked to dance. I get a little obsessive with the idea of dancing between robots, so excuse this rabble of nonsense. But, the way Zeta has imaginably gotten on one knee for Sentinel to meet him at optic level is so tender. It shows a lot of care and need for the needs of his apprentice and like I had previously written my brain starts to play a whole little orchestra/symphony for them in this scene. I forgot that I originally wondered if Zeta would have lowered the volume/tone/sound of his voice for Sentie as well. But the timber of his voice may be lowered to make sure Sentinel feels respect, safe, gentle as treating a baby bird analogy. I love canary metaphors.
Zeta is so formal and respectful in his actions/pose as well, the pressed servo on his chest with a slight bowed position to Sentinel as he asks, "May I have this dance?" The openly handed over servo for Sentinel to rest his servo on if he so desires. And then how Zeta has his optics closed with a content smile; the gentle expression is very gorgeous and I love it tbh.
And the halo like effect behind his helmet? The little details in his armor, he is the starlight itself; maybe Sentinel is his galaxy (or was). Anyway, back to Sentinel's expression in the first image drawn, the palm of his servos fit so delicately and perfectly into Zeta's and the little curve he has too when placing it there, he probably enjoys knowing this is his right or at least he's allowed to have a Prime bend to his optic level, be so formal, step on one knee maybe for him. It's like they really have no height difference, they're both about to hit the wide open space of flooring and everyone will watch them dance like the world isn't there anymore.
Sentinel's smile is so so it's like how what I can recall, I compared the look on his face to be akin to one of a hatchling, in this case birds. Young avian's tend to imprint on the first thing they see, it's who they depend on, and believe whole heartily that is their whole world. It does show in his optics too, the smug little smile that spreads across his face. He's really cute tbh. It's devotion almost, maybe it's shared, maybe it's on different levels of it, but Zeta is treating Sentinel like how one treats a baby bird and Sentinel treats him like he's the whole world, the only thing he's ever gotten to experience/known, who's showed him what life can be.
NOW, the second image, oh how did i miss this before. But it looks like Sentinel has little, I don't want to say marks on his face (?), but it kinda looks like it, ignore me for this little footnote; I just wanted to have it down for myself by saying how they look sort of like the lines across Zeta's armor. Who knows really why Sentinel now has those post apprenticeship (his cape is gone by now) I have no real reason to overthink much, but I wanted to mention it for myself really (felt silly, if it isnt relevant, it isnt relevant)
I find it special that Zeta still tries to bend a little downward for Sentinel again, but it's...not to the same degree he did before and we don't know his expression either. We don't know what kind of expression he's making to Sentinel. He could be very well making the same type of face he did before or, it's a truer/better reflection of the current state of his relationship to Sentinel by now, who knows!
But, what I do notice is how Sentinel is standing there. He's probably off to the side, not wanting to be spotted or just wants to be ignored, left alone. Bby is literally holding a champagne flute glass of something in his servo and has the other one pressed to his sides. Like mentioned before, is it at his hip, is it clenched, is it hidden behind his back so Zeta can't even see the opportunity to take it? Who knows, idk for sure, but that servo is not being taken, he DOES not want to dance. And the way he stares too is so clear, he's got that look of immense disinterest, or I guess distrust. He's probably trying to figure out what Zeta wants/is doing right now asking for a dance like this again; he's not a a hatchling anymore, so easily persuaded by a dance or empty grand gestures
I do apologize if this wasn't as detailed as what I wrote before because I kinda forgot what I wrote 😭😭😭
But here another quote to make up for it:

Soundwaves face? Starscream!? The overall interaction and expressions playing like a little film clip? Seeing it is driving me nuts (in a good way) because of how expressive they look and the shape of Starscream's pupils. He looks so—not torn necessarily by his conflicting emotions or whatever may have been running through his mind at this moment, but it could also be some inexcusable form of direct anger, rage, or something that demands a full case worth of effort (in his mind) has to be done by him because Soundwave won’t give up whatever information or bout of mental clarity was asked of him right now. He may already have his own suspicions, maybe already on what Soundwave's answer is, but it has to come from Soundwave to matter/be real enough to deal with the aftermath of all of this (like the answer will change anytime but what it really is).
The problem is: he's dealing with an insane little bat from hell who's also an insane little cryptic. He's not meant for this place or this type of interrogation/conversation, Starscream! Let him be insane sometimes!?Though goodness knows Starscream could always just be lost in the moment as to whatever caused such a ruthless action/response to Soundwave and finally came back to his senses when Soundwave finally looked him in the optics and said something. His little, "Oh no, what have I done!" moment of clarity makes me laugh almost; therein lies that little bit of realization and guilt, or not guilt; only Primus knows that he will justify it all in his spark and (maybe) try to make it up to Soundwave by telling him, "If you weren't so, I wouldn't have had to!! Not my fault!! 😭" He just deflects all blame while patching up the annoyed bat. At least give the cute hellbat a treat, Starscream, something to nibble on while his frame handles all the static charge, thinking about whatever his brain can conjure up now; it's hard to connect to another Cybertronian after experiencing immense horrors, okay!

AUUUUUGH, I know people on twitter have already beautifully dissected this gorgeous piece of artwork, but I just I WANNA SINK TEETH INTO HOW EVERYTHING LOOKS TOO-
I am obsessed with how calm and peaceful Jazz looks in comparison to D-16. Jazz is reaching for OP's garment and the way it hugs him so gently like a sweet lover's embrace!? What's more he's so welcoming and open to the idea of it. For he see's it as what it is; a gentle sweep of warmth, the potential of love, a shared want that may or not be reciprocated or soon to be noticed if a certain someone keeps fighting himself. And the way the whole thing loops so sweetly and loosely around his neck? The spotlight is so yellow-orange like a sunset toned as well like he's a prince about to be pulled up by his princess (Im thinking of Rapunzel now OMG). He could so easily remove it if he wants to, but he clearly doesn't feel the need to, he is REACHING TOWARDS IT like how the moon reaches for the ocean/sun, whatever metaphor you want to toss out and cry for. AND that smile, auuuuugh he knows what he wants, and it makes me sick, it breaks my heart, my little panda....wuuu. His eyes too, they're so full of love and it makes me want to bang my head into a corner RIGHT NOOOW, Jazz is so willing and capable of affection, I love it. It spills from everything in this image and him, the whole aura around him is everything to me, it tugs at my soul.
MEANWHILE... D-16. Oh my sweet D is upset. He's beyond upset, he's restrained, he's the EXACT opposite, he's suffocated, he's scared of it, he's scared of the restrictive feeling. OP's garment practically ties him down like those insane asylum patients who need to be transported and muzzled because it's that dangerous or in need of being kept/checked in. He wants OUT, but he can't escape the idea of OP, it's bound to his frame whether he likes it or not.
D is attempting to claw and bite his way out like a feral animal, he's those tom cats on the street who are so afraid of touch and have no idea what to do with it if given, so they scratch, hiss, and bite. Anything to get away from the SHADOW of safety because it is so foreign.
But he can't escape can he? No matter how he fights it, OP's garment is a part of his frame by now, it's seared into his spark like a piece of ribbon, he's this beautiful present all wrapped up, but refuses to be a part of OP's "show/wrapped and offered affection."
The spotlight WILL always find him, no matter where he's gone, but what is it doing to him? That's what freaks him out, he's scared of what OP is doing to him now. This specific spotlight is so different as well compared to Jazz's because here it's like D-16 is a thief in the night who's been caught, it's bright and sharp between the edges, it's not hazy or a gentle castled down glimmer of light.
Again it's as if D feels more like a escaped prisoner, but is still caught in the end (he wants to escape OP's love/influence, but alas he can't can he?) AUUUGH my silly SILLY son, BY PRIMUS pls stop the garment is around your waist so tightly, he wants to hold you, love you- CHERISH YOU! PLS JUST LET HIM IN OR I WILL DO IT FOR YOU. I need to stop myself before I start yapping all over again, but this piece is so gorgeous.

I could write a whole paper or two on the differences/how the idea of OP's love may or may not be received by these two. Because to me D is so bound and desperate to fight against what he feels or wants. And does all of that despite how much of it is already holding onto him or depending on the perspective, he may be holding onto as well without him even knowing. In comparison, Jazz and the garment can be interpreted where it could take the air from him (from how it drapes around his frame) and he'd let it do whatever (OP) wants, again and again. He's so sweet and well meaning in general from how he looks and to me it feels as if he understands OP's love may as be an hidden opportunity really not a given (he's not going to force), but it's something he would happily accept if allowed. He's probably waiting for OP to say it or potentially realize their potential first, the more I think about it.
So while D-16 refuses the fate that may await him (given how firmly the garment is wrapped around him and his blatant feral/upset expression). Jazz in contrast from how he's portrayed is more accepting or I'd say willing to fight the fates as in...if that's something OP wanted of him Jazz would do it...if OP asked him to lasso the sun he would happily take it for him.
They both love him I'm sure in their own ways and in their own understanding of who he is as a bot, but the way they internalize/handle it is so different and it hurts me. It brings the writer out of me (insert quote i had to write in order to describe the sheer joy this piece of art brings me). 😭😭
