once pacifica moves out a little after she turns 18, her senior year at the private school her family owns isn't quite finished yet, and they expel her before she can graduate. she ends up having to get her GED later, and while studying for it, she finds out she has a lot of gaps in her education because of how carefully controlled the private school's curriculum was

i think she's pretty good at math and there wouldn't really be a political reason to regulate math so she doesn't have trouble with that subject when she has to study on her own to get her diploma. it's stuff like history and english she has to catch up on

she took grammar lessons for sure but her literature lessons were always on stuff like Shakespeare (worth reading ofc but he has some plays that are very Safe and easy to teach without social ramifications)

and you KNOW her flash cards for studying are all colorful and sparkly and covered in stickers because the pines twins had a hand in making them. i think dipper wrote the cards to begin with so the handwriting is neat and tidy, but after he would write one, he would pass it to mabel and she would decorate it. they do this as a surprise for paz cause they know she has a lot of work to do and when they present the cards to her she has to try not to cry because she loves her friends and she's also been awake for 18 hours

Considering making a GF themed in-character cookbook, because I love this sort of thing and we're probably never going to get an official one

A fan made page of Mabel's scrapbook, with a yellowed notebook page featuring a recipe by Stan and small notation by Dipper. It has cute breakfast themed stickers and a drawing of the buff waffle guard, along with a poloroid photo of Waddles the pig happily eating. It reads:
Breakfast! The most important meal of the day!
Syrup races, bacon, sugar frosted zodiac charms cereal- Who doesn't love breakfast? NOBODY that's who! So naturally, everyone wanted to contribute to the GREATEST PART OF THE COOKBOOK EVER! Even Grunkle Stan!

Grunkle Stan's recipe page has a doodle of him flipping pancakes with an apron that reads #1 chef. The recipe reads:

Stancakes
1 cup flour
3/4 cup milk
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 egg

1. Mix the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients, stir until it's lumpy and gross looking. Scratch yourself aggressively. If hair gets in 'em, who cares?
2. Heat your pan with butter or cooking spray to medium.
3. Screw up your first pancake (It's tradition!) Feed that pancake to Waddles.
4. Pour batter into the pan, then flip when you see bubbles.
5. What do you need me to hold your hand for this? It's pancakes, c'mon!

The aside from Dipper reads: Surprisingly better than Greasey's! Even with all the hair...

The photo of Waddles reads: Yummy yummy for my fat lil' pig tummy!

The conceit being Mabel's putting together a recipe scrapbook before she leaves so she and Dipper can take home all the greasy garbage delicious food they ate that summer!

Ideas:

Canon foods like pitt cola, mabel juice, cookie chips and burrito bites

Everyone from Mayor Tyler to Wendy contribute! Bill might even hijack it for a spell with his own absolutely do not try at home recipes.

Where canon lets us down, themed foods characters would probably serve (ford's stuffed percepshrooms, Lil’ Gideons officially branded™ lil’ ol sweet potata casserole)

And obviously I would release this for free as a fan project, I'm just here for the love of the game lmao

Anyway, tell me if you're interested or have any suggestions. :)b

I understand the instinct to make Modern Odysseus the type of guy who use's his son/wife's name as a password. he's definitely obsessed with them enough

but Odysseus is smart. he would never make his password something easy to guess and his son/wife's name is super easy to guess, especially since he'd talk about them extensively to every single person he met ever

instead I propose his password is something absurd, like 'olive tree' but using 'Penelope' as a cipher
