i think its about time i made the post I've been meaning to make. i just want it out of the way.
my father passed june 27th. it was sudden, a motorcycle accident that was not his fault in the slightest. my mother was also in the accident, but survived. however, she lost a leg, among having other injuries. she will be in hospitals/rehabilitation for a long time. I'm a disabled person, as you may know as I've talked about my coma in 2022 from autoimmune encephilitis, and my many autoimmune diseases. life is both very hard right now, and has me very anxious. in the future, there will be a gofundme for my mothers needs medically, and insurance wise. my fathers job was our families insurance... and on top of her own medical expenses, I need steroids and insulin and all of my other medication to stay alive and care for her. for now, Im linking my ko-fi, as a way to get any sort of income right now. donations are very VERY appreciated right now. i also sell stickers there, and will be selling more stuff soon, so keep an eye out for posts about new stuff ! thank you very much. please share and reblog this, I'm trying my best to just be.. okay, right now.

happy disability awareness month to him 🙂↕️
has anyone else noticed that being alive is like. not the most dignified experience ever
happy autistic girl summer to those who celebrate
There comes a day at the start of each summer when I must put my baseball cap on sideways and go out back to my air conditioner. I gingerly stroke the rusty metal coils over its freon heart and say, "Sup, home skillet? Wake up, it's 1995!"
And the air conditioner says, "Oh snap, for real? I thought it was much later. I feel so old."
In a goofy voice I say, "Yeah, it's like 2024 or something... not!"
It laughs nervously. It says, "As if!"
I tell it, "Take a chill pill, it's really 1995."
"Then I'm only 5 years old? Wack."
I nod. "Yeah, duderoni. Go ahead and start up for me one more time. It's gonna be a scorcher."
It shudders. Something rattles deep inside it. Slowly, the fan starts to spin. Faster, faster, it whirls. The air conditioner laughs in relief. "I feel young!" it says. "I feel so young!"
If it's not one thing, it's the other
Mom still has issues with veins in her legs and apparently a wound on one of her legs might open at some point in the future and I just don't know what to do??
Why are parents so stubborn and refuse to seek help (especially when they themselves are afraid of their health issues)?? It's such a stupid boomer thing to do
I will keep bugging her to call a friend of hers who had a similar issue but boy am I fucking shaking
I also don't have the funds for a surgery that she will need to undergo
Here comes the boy!! :)))
