these are in my(mod abbey’s)luke returns au, a few years post-canon

they register high on the gaydar; it’s amazing this relationship was ever a secret. it’s not like they’re constantly pda-ing, but no straight guy would ever be caught looking at his bro like they look at each other.

luke ruffles percy’s hair a lot and makes like he’s being teasing but actually he just loves percy’s hair and touching it

they ended up sparring together a lot. being a natural with a sword is great until you realize it’s hard to find a real challenge who isn’t your childhood mentor/archenemy

percy did not cope well with the return of The Crush From Hell

luke did not cope well with realizing he was falling for someone who has every reason to hate him, and so tried what he does best: repress until you want to scream! and he succeeded for a while but when they’re practicing he slips into instructor mode and forgets he’s not touching percy ever, at all, 100% no, and critiques percy’s form from right behind him, touching his back and arms and waist and generally ensuring percy didn’t remember jack shit of what he said

that said, a lot of their best bonding moments happen at night. neither of them sleeps very well, so they end up talking a lot. it’s how they initially opened up to each other. percy found him after a nightmare and it started a conversation that lasted until they were both too tired to talk coherently.

it was fun explaining why they slept together when annabeth came looking for percy the next morning

and luke gets it, he really does, what he did warrants more shit than sally could ever give him. he wants to take it calmly, like a hero would, but at the end of the evening, he’s just sitting on the fire escape, thinking about how he promised he would do everything he could to keep percy from becoming him, and isn’t risking corruption by proximity kind of breaking that promise? or at least fracturing it?

percy sits next to him, arms resting on his knees, until he starts talking, and when he’s done, lets out a long breath.

“y’know….my mom once told me my heart is always in the right place. and you know what they say about good intentions, but i trust her. i trust her to know that it’s a good thing, so she trusts me.” he bumps luke’s shoulder with his. “give her time. she’ll warm to anywhere i put my heart.”

Dillon Alexander Williams went to Kings Island with me and my mother Melanie Dean but is now nowhere to be found. Last time I saw him was at the Build a Bear in Kings Island and he seemed completely fine. After hours of security searching they discovered my husband was no longer in the park and hadn’t been since 11 am. He was seen on camera walking out of the park, through the Soak City parking lot and out towards the Sunoco on the other side of the street.

He was last seen wearing black jeans, pink converse, a red and black Deadpool letterman jacket and a Marie the cat beanie like in the pictures I’ve provided.

I’ve been asking around and no one has seen him. This is legitimately the most terrifying thing I’ve ever experienced in my life, please, if you have ANY info call the Mason PD or send me a PM on here. I just want my husband home.

You know, this is why content creators end up abandoning their works, right?

80 likes compared to 10 reblogs means that only 12% of people decided that what you did is worth showing other people.

If you like the thing, reblog it. You don’t even have to add tags, just spread it so that a) other people can see it, and b) the creator gets recognition for what they did.

Obviously, those numbers are never going to match, but the divide should not be that huge.

It’s even more important right now, because tumblr is garbage and they’ve stopped allowing anything with an outside link from appearing in tags. Writers/artists cannot tag things to their twitter/store/writing website. That can cause a significant drop in views, especially for newer creators.

Like… we aren’t asking for much. A few reblogs. Reviews/comments. No creator should have to beg for that much.

My dear foreign friends and brothers. I know Mexican culture is a beautiful one, and I know that the appeal of living it in your own flesh is even greater. Nonetheless, after these past years of travels, fake news, alt facts and Trumpism, I’ve seen so many expressions of bigotry and racism towards me and my brothers from people I never expected, that I just had to create this post.

While you’re allowed to enjoy Mexican culture and the greatness it has to offer, always remember you’re a guest in this bandwagon, always remember that Mexico is a country deprived of greatness by the inequity of our politicians, and the benefiting of interests that don’t reflect our own.

- Please stop opening shops and bars that are Mexican themed, stop profiting from our culture while you won’t lift a finger towards immigration issues.

- Stop moving away from your countries because Trump or Brexit won, I appreciate the sentiment, but not many Mexicans had the choice of living in another country after EPN won the elections. Realize the privilege you have.

- Stop posing in sombreros in your travel photos with fake moustaches while screaming AYAYAY… It’s absurd, annoying and quite disrespectful

- Stop asking white Mexicans why are they white if they’re Mexican, stop asking mexicans why they speak english, or comment on their height and physical appearance as to praise their lack of brownness or latinx features.

- Stop hashtagging the whole CINCODEDRINKO bullshit while sipping on drinks NO ONE DRINKS here… Stop celebrating what we don’t

The privilege y'all have is way different than the one of ANY of my nationals who are trying to seek a better life in your countries, they aren’t being heard, they’re abused, they’re fetishized, they’re being appropriated and displaced by gentrification. So use that privilege to positively affect the lives of many, who actually need it. Stop supporting white owned mexican themed places who segregate latinxs, stop eating at that fancy mexican restaurant who’s owned by no mexican and treats it’s mexican employees like shit.

Support immigrants, be kind to their struggle, and help them achieve a better life.
