Dangaronpa V3 is kinda meh to me so this is my au in which Rantaro and Kaede are the main protagonist and antagonist duo.

I also think the 3rd trial is a big waste of potential. They had such a cool idea in mind with the whole "Korekiyo confessed to one murder but not the other" but then in the end it's revealed he actually commited both and it's like.... ok??? You're telling me we could've had a trial with 2 murderers who didnt know about eachother's exsistance and that no matter what there would be a killed left among the survivors??? Anyways in this au I like to pitch the idea of Himiko secretly being the second killer who accidentally murdered Angie and although Korkiyo did kill Tenko his crime doesn't count as Himiko killed Angie before him.

There could've been fun loopholes I'm just saying 🙄🙄🙄

Also I think the dynamic between Rantaro and Kaede could've been fun to explore in a "Kaede wants to trust and believe her friends while Rantaro is aware they could betray them at any moment" kind of situation

Juan asks Matt to be his boyfriend as they're playing a couple rounds of Mario Kart and Matt of course says yes and is ecstatic but is also convinced that Juan chose Then to ask him because he wanted to sabotage Matt's game but in reality. No. Juan was just looking at Matt and how much he was enjoying himself and their little date night. Completely enamored. Couldn't hold the question back any longer.

Mind boggling to me that most people don't actually recognize the true weight of what Inpax did to Matt and Juan.....

With Matt specifically you've got the age thing and the fact that he was certainly a child when he and Inpax, a whole adult woman, got together but it's not like Juan being 19 was much better. Technically he's legal when they're together. but he's a child star. and she must have known him before he was 18.

And then you get into the power dynamics of it all. Dating your manager??? "Dating"???? Being groomed to think you love the person that has a major hand in your public reputation, your appearances, your career trajectory...... Inpax didn't want boyfriends, she wanted boys—BOYS. NOT MEN.—that she could sculpt into something that benefited her. The manager of a star, that's what she wanted.

I just. I really don't think people talk about her enough. This woman was not the victim in her situation!!!!!! "Oh Matt was a bad boyfriend" . the child. the child who has spent his youth on screen. was immature and not the best romantic partner for a woman that's bound to be mid-twenties at least ? that is so shocking . i can not believe the kid is acting like how a kid would act . -_-

Anyway . Matt and Juan deserved better.

“That’s lovely, Phoenix.” Miles mutters through gritted teeth, squinting at the bright screen. “However, you’re not on this case, and this process will be much easier for me if she did.”

“What happened to starting to fight for the truth, huh?” Phoenix prods, half provocation and half genuine curiosity.

Miles peers over the screen at Phoenix, the harsh light from the computer emphasizing the shadows underneath his eyes and cheekbones. “The only existing evidence implicates the artist, and I’m responsible for finding the final nail in her coffin. Your gut instinct doesn’t insinuate absolute truth.”

“Has it ever been wrong?” Phoenix’s brows raise, and Miles’ eye twitches at just how genuine he is. There’s no hint of a challenge in Phoenix’s words, there’s no icy stare or self-righteous smirk. He’s just warm and open and honest and kind, and Miles isn’t sure how to react. He settles for dropping his head in his hands with a groan, thick bangs falling over his fingers.

some thoughts/headcanons i had while drawing this:

since snuffy treats football as a job, i thought it would be in character (and very cute) if he gave his players mandatory rest days

these rest days aren't only when they dyed barou's hair but also when they have sleepovers n hang out!!

sleepover nights are arranged by aryu and sendou-- aryu does the decorating while sendou gets the snacks, chooses the movies, etc.

niko and aryu are watching puella magi madoka magica on niko's laptop. so far, mami is aryu's fav

niko's laptop has a sayaka miki sticker and a very off brand banana fish sticker that someone got him

sendou is always the first to fall asleep and every time the other members stuff a pillow under his head & throw a blanket on him. he's a heavy sleeper so once he's out, he's OUT

the plushies niko and aryu are holding belong to sendou

aiku looks like he's texting a girl & everyone assumes so but rly he's just watching baby animal tiktoks (usually baby chicks). sometimes niko gets nosy to see what he's doing and every time he gets whiplash

aryu painted everyone's nails black !!! though he made his own nails look a lil fancier because its ~osha~

barou is invited to everyone of these sleepovers but he rarely comes willingly, aiku and lorenzo usually drag him into this mess

in the drawing, barou's returning from a quick bathroom break or smth and while he was gone, lorenzo took his chances and brought out the popcorn

lorenzo is a messy eater so popcorn crumbs r everywhere..... barou hates it sooooooooooo much

HOWEVER in the drawing the popcorn mess isnt entirely from messy eating!! the real reason is lorenzo got bored and started bouncing popcorn off of sendou's forehead (his ass is NAWT waking up)

after having enough sleepovers, everyone kinda has their own spots & usually when barou is there, he's between aiku and niko-- he's cool being around them bc they usually just keep to their phones/laptops

^^ this doesnt stop lorenzo from throwing popcorn at him tho LMFAO and that's when aiku becomes not only the final wall for blue lock but the only wall between barou (becoming a murderer) and don "ace eater" lorenzo

and i think that's everything........ !!! if u read all this. Damn ur kinda my goat (THANK U)
