It’s something wicked, it makes Matt’s blood burn with sharp pangs of guilt. He doesn’t deserve to think about those memories full of vitality when he’d set off the chain reaction that ended with Juan’s life being stripped away. But… Matt doesn’t like these thoughts, this guilt. Fuck, he’s living the rest of his days—hours, maybe?—as a ticking time bomb, he shouldn’t have to feel such contempt at himself. Matt takes some time with the pipe again, only stopping when his gut twists painfully. The feelings of guilt, his own personal gavel smashing down against his skull, barely subside.

Alternatively, the fic in which Matt receives a not guilty verdict and his guilt and addiction lead him down a drug trip where he hallucinates Juan, and he tries to keep his lover's memory alive by any means necessary. In other words, by doing the one thing he's been trained to do well.

i thought i'd just clarify my reasoning behind why i dislike the trans chigri headcanon so much since mfs got mad at me before when i said it without explaining myself

disclaimer, I myself am trans so this isnt me being transphobic, and its totally fine if u headcanon it, i literally dont care about any character being hit by the trans beam, go wild, but chigiri is my exception

i have different reasons for disliking mtf and ftm chigiri so ill be explaining both

i understand that headcanons dont have to make sense but i feel like chigiri being trans would go against every part of him. My reason for disliking mtf chigiri is quite obvious i think, and that's that he makes it very very clear througout the entire story and almost every interaction hes a part of that he does not like being called a girl. He's always being called feminine things like princess or lady or missy but he always tells people to stop because he is a boy not a girl. So yeah thats why i hate that side of it so much

my dislike of ftm chigiri are a little harder to explain but uhh here goes. Its partly because of him being a more gender neutral/feminine looking character, because i love that men being feminine or not traditionally masculine can express themselves, but making him trans is kinda taking away from that by saying "a man expressing his gender in a way that isnt masculine?? i guess he must've been born a women then" Thats not actually that serious though because there are plently of feminine men who are trans, i love a ton of headcanons like that.

My biggest issue with ftm chigiri is actually how it affects every other character in the series. Because if he was, its basically character assassination for all of them. If chigiri was born a woman and transitioned into a man it makes literally every other character transphobic by default. Like he has repeatedly told them that he is a boy and not a girl but they continue to call him a lady, if chigiri was a trans man they would undoubtebly know, they've seen him in the lockerooms, they've seen him in the bath ykyk whatever. Point being they are constantly and non stop calling him a lady and if he was a trans man that makes the entire cast of blue lock all horrible people.

With it also being said that there were talks of him potentially playing for U-18 he's probably at least vaguely familiar with them and the U-20 guys so putting him with Aiku and Sendo could be smart! I think they'd work well together. I also think his dynamic with Barou would be SOOO interesting, especially to see how they go from rivals in the first selection to forced teammates now.

Also I think that Kira's ego development would be so cool to see. Idk how exactly I'd envision Kira's ego developing, like obviously he's gotta get a little self centered to be able to survive bllk but I would like to think more than anything his one goal is to prove Ego wrong. His ego is revolving around his distate for Ego and his belief that "I can only destroy the system from the top".

and what if i rewrite blue lock with kira as a protag just because i like him and i miss him . what happens then? what if he gets to be a lovely protagonist of his story solely because i think he is neat??? he and isagi get a sort of rival best friends relationship throughout first selection, second selection gives him the reo team-up for a moment, exploring how he feels about abandoning the high school team we've seen him care so deeply for to play in the u-20 match. to win over the u-20 team. to already have a big fanbase going into the nel??? im undecided on exactly which team he'd play for but i saw really pretty ubers kira art a little bit ago.

Look I'm not saying that stopping in the middle of a sentence on a WIP was a bad idea but what i am saying is that as soon as I get my hands on a time machine past me needs to be ready to square the fuck up
