Boop.
Tumblr users, all tuckered out after a long day of boops
Oh train blog. What are we to do now.
Live, like we always have, and always will
Here's some notes on some of the upper body muscles so you, artist, don't need to look them up
They are not medically accurate, just enough for artists to know the necessary muscles and how they work together
I 100% recommend doing the last exercise I did to be able to actually place the muscles
god forbid 5000 year old girls do anything
Random person: Please boop me! I'm so close! š
Me: Understood. O7 *Spam boops to help person to get to their goal*
Truly I hate to do this to you all but; you can watch all the videos and read all the blogs in the world but you cannot learn to sew without at some point picking up a piece of fabric and fucking it up. No tutorial exists that will stop you at some point ruining this poor piece of cloth. The visceral act of holding a project and wondering where you went wrong is the only way to learn sewing; you cannot escape it. Iām sorry
art will save you, being unreasonably passionate about something niche will save you, letting past sources of joy show you the way back to yourself will save you, earnestness over composure will save you, the natural world will save you, caring for something bigger than yourself will save you, daring to be seen will save you, kindness not as a whim but a principle will save you, appreciation as a practice will save you, daring to try something new will save you, grounding will save you, love will save you, one good nights sleep will save you
When Everything Everywhere All at Once said āThe only thing I do know is that we have to be kind. Please, be kind, especially when we donāt know whatās going on"Ā
When the Good Place said āWhy choose to be good every day when there is no guaranteed reward now or in the afterlife⦠I argue that we choose to be good because of our bonds with other people and our innate desire to treat them with dignity. Simply put, we are not in this alone.āĀ
When Jean-Paul Sartre said āāHell is other peopleā is only one side of the coin. The other side, which no one seems to mention, is also āHeaven is each otherā. Hell is separateness, uncommunicability, self-centeredness, lust for power, for riches, for fame. Heaven on the other hand is very simple, and very hard: caring about your fellow beings.ā
