First drawing I ever did of this guy. The start of it all.
Drew this with ultimate beastmaster playing in the background 💪😤

My oldest inktober challenge participation. Didn't know this was the second year where he had the official prompt list. I'm like an og

Multi-canvas painting I did. I don't know what gave me this idea, but it was crazy. Can't believe I made this back in 2017.
Made spacers out of foam boards from the dollar store so that the canvases would be held in the final configuration during painting.
Bought my first ever non dollar store paint from DeSerres for this project. Still have quite a few colours (namely the red 😍)
Shout out to my father for making the frames ‼️‼️

Painting of a cockatiel ❤️
I remember struggling to use the neon acrylic paints because they're really translucent and only show up well on a white base.

Another painting of the harry potter patronus because I was so happy w the other one. And i think I wanted one for myself after the other one was given to my sister ¿?
It's very different from the other one, considering how I wanted it to be similar.

Little painting I did of my festive street way back when.
Was only able to make the post for this painting recently because it was stashed with the rest of our christmas stuff - completely forgot about it when I was collecting the other paintings to start this archive 💔

This was inspired by those galaxy painting things that spray paint artists do. As well as techniques of loading the brush with different coloured paints to get smooth gradient brushstrokes for the ground.

Something I did when I was a little baby at art. Was super happy with how this turned out.
My sister was either the one who prompted me to paint this, or liked it so much that I gave it to her. It's still hanging in her bathroom ❤️

Painting I made way back when. Got mad one day and stabbed a bunch of holes into it 💀. Talk about sublimation. I remember nothing about what led me to that decision. It's hard to see the stab marks because the painting's so busy, though.
Meant to be a tree that has all four seasons on it.

The date for this was completely guessed. I faintly remember making this, but nothing that hints to where it fits in the timeline. Signed it with my full name, so I think it's from way back when.
Cute little painting, proud of everything except for the foreground trees' values being the same as each other and the distant mountain

Sketchbook I started in 2016. Back when I was one of those losers who used sketchbooks to put full illustrations in, instead of actual sketches.
One of the few sketchbooks I've finished. Won't be the last, though >:)

Wait this was supposed to be the first post??? I didn't get around to cleaning it up until ~3 weeks after I'd queued up all of the tumblr posts 😭
Ig I'll see how making the post date in the past works >:)
Anyways what I can remember of the prompt was that we were supposed to make masks that represent a specific emotion. We were in pairs and I did it with my friend.
Making it out of wood was not a requirement, but I'd gotten it in my head and I knew my dad wld be able to cut the wood for me 😋I made a paper mockup, and then my dad took care of cutting and gluing together the pieces. Two masks were made, one for my friend and one for me.
iirc, the emotion I was going for was happiness, but it really doesn't read that way. There used to be paper fluff stuff hanging from the back, but the birds ate that stuff up. They also bit a whole bunch of chunks into it 😭
I don't remember what happened for it to break that badly. Prolly fell
