Is paper truly more sacred than bark or html?

Are candles really more holy than torches or gaslights?

Are sermons more true than stories or blogs?

I think @ some point I got used 2 the feeling that this life was never real, I think that point was relatively early as well.

I have vivid memory of sitting in the car on the way 2 school when I was very young, and thinking that my life must be some sort of entertainment 4 giants, that someone out there was watching me on a small television on their kitchen table, and that their lives must be very long 4 them 2 find my entire life just entertainment.

I feel my life though music, my day-2-day life feels like 1 of the warrior cats maps I used 2 love when I was younger, I move though my life as though it were set 2 that soundtrack, this has been my life 4 as long as I can remember.

I've talked 2 myself 4 as long as I can remember, in my head when I was younger, out loud as I've gotten older, I got used 2 the feeling that I was being watched, I explain my actions as if someone is gazing over my shoulder and judging me, I need 2 explain every little detail over and over again.

It brings me comfort @ times, it is also terrifying.

HOMEMADE ANGEL WINGS TUTORIAL 🪽

⚠︎︎ Disclaimer: This project is going to cost about $100. You’re better off buying wings from Etsy for half the price. But I think that every penny is worth putting into this project!

You are going to need

4-5 rolls of Duck tape (The strongest ones you can find)

Scissors

Materials:

Wing base https://a.co/d/5Wvot5F (There’s both Angel and demon wing bases but only demon is available)

Parchment paper

2 packs of Feathers https://a.co/d/5hryI8U

Vintage paper https://a.co/d/35xfs2q

⚠︎︎ 1 pack of the feathers should be used to on both sides of one wing equally. Please use these feathers wisely!

Please make sure there is little to no part of the bare base wing shown as you apply these feathers

All of these steps apply to both wings 🪽

Okie enough yapping let’s begin 🏰

1. Line and tape the parchment paper along the top of the wing to cover up the joints. The paper should be folded over the back of the wing as well. Line and tape the paper along the center of the whole wing base

2. The large feathers range from 10-18 centimeters.

You are going to want to cut the vintage paper into the shape and about the same length of these large feathers

At the very bottom of the wings you are going use the largest feathers and feathers and follow as well as tape them along with the shape of the wing

Mix up the pattern of the vintage paper feathers and the feathers as you go along. This pattern shown is the image is just an example.

(Step 1 is left step 2 is right)

3. As you get towards the middle of the wing, you are going to use the 2nd largest feathers you can find

Make some the vintage paper cut in the same length and look as these feathers

4. Once you get near to the top, get the smallest to medium-smallest feathers. Make the paper feathers the same length and look

As you can tell the feather size are going decrease as you get closer to the top of the wing like how a typical bird wing is 🦢

5. Tape the thinner and looser features on to the parchment paper that is next to the base of the wing

Adding the vintage paper is optional

5. Once the whole thing this done you possibly can add some charms to it. Find something pretty around your home to add to it (optional)

I put these little bells on both of my wings using the string that was used to hold the vintage paper together
