No but to be serious guys i didnt expect that movie to be that kind of good. I expected great fights. I expected complicated morals. I did not expect that movie to say i know everything seems hopeless but you dont get a choice, you have to try. I did not expect that movie to say when we are up against an impossible, unjust threat the only way through is freely given kindness and forgiveness. I did not expext that movie to say the real way villans win is by preying on those we’ve already decided are hopeless. I did not expect that movie to say we all have to believe we can get better. Hey remember when US and Russia was all like “We’re the best!!! We’ve won the space race!!!!” But India sent a kick-ass space probe to Mars and the whole mission was fuel efficient, costed less and a roaring success in the first try and then they were like “…..wait no that can’t be true” and still have the audacity to call us “underdeveloped” or only view us as a ‘third world country’? :)

For anyone who needs more info, the probe was called Mangalyaan (which literally means space probe vehicle) or Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM) and you can also get more information here and here

imagine you’re a tiny thing. your mama is big and strong so you follow her everywhere. she’s very strong, which is why when she falls asleep on the floor you sit with her. you sit with her until she starts to fall apart. but its ok because she’s strong. and then you get really, really, really thirsty, and you think if you sleep it’ll be okay. and then you wake up surrounded by water and you see a face beyond the water and its blurry and you dont know how to feel about it so you go back to sleep and then you keep seeing the face beyond the water and they talk to you in soft words you dont understand and you’re still so small and confused but you know the face beyond the water is helping you. maybe it loves you. but you’re a tiny thing. and then one day you decide you’ve had enough water, and then you start to move. and you see the face beyond the water, who is so happy to see you and they do something you’ve never seen a face do, their mouth curls at the end in a smile and youve never seen it so you do it too and you keep doing it because you love the face beyond the water so much and they love you too and they’re strong like mama and they feed you and pet you and love you and one day you grow so big they can ride you. and they make you a hat and goggles to protect your eyes and they show you all sorts of wonderful things and YES this is about the happy ghast from minecraft im OBSESSED

The wording is ‘rescue’ a Ghast from the Nether, and bring it ‘safely home’. Which has always been the idea of, are Ghasts from the Nether? Was the Nether always like this; and are they so miserable because they were forced to adapt to a ruined fiery hellscape? Well, now we know that presumably when young especially, they’re liable to dry out. That if they’re rescued from being dried, they thrive in a more earthly environment. That they grow up happy when doing so. I do think that Ghasts may be from the Nether, but not from the current Nether. A much colder one, maybe more like the Overworld, maybe not. Probably a cavernous fungal paradise if I had to guess. But now they live in a world that’s been ruined by something, and turned into the human embodiment of hell, forced to spit fire just to no longer be filled with it when they’d much rather eat snow to cool down. Is it any wonder they cry?
